He had other dogs when we arrived and he allowed us to spend a few minutes to get our dog oriented to the area and comfortable with the other dogs. We received numerous pictures during our dog’s stay and pick up was smooth due to again his flexibility and communication. We left a copy of his business card at the campgrounds we stayed at since their lodges do not allow pets. His dog camp would be a great fit for anyone in the area. Our dog slept the whole hour and a half home and I’m assuming it’s because she had so much fun enjoying Macken’s beautiful outdoor adventures.”

About: I have had dogs over the years, and have a special place in my heart for them. My yard is fenced with a fenced kennel area to separate them as needed. My home is dog friendly where pups can relax on the couch or run and play in the yard together. I make sure to keep my rates low because I don't believe that boarding a dog should not cost a fortune and want to do my part in fighting inflation. I am generally home during the week, so I can keep a watchful eye on your furry friend. If I do leave for an hour or so, I will make sure everything is good, before leaving. I have two friendly herding dogs who love to play and chill in turns. If I need to crate or kennel one of them for a bit, that can easily be done. I went as far as to shadow a service dog trainer and a local veterinarian in their field of work to explore the possibility of working with animals as a career. Before I was old enough to work, I interned at YoDog Groomers for a summer. Then my first job was at Aspen Kennels, where I was sole caretaker of 12 dogs at a time for 6 hours per day. I loved that job and kept at it for 3 years until I had to free up some time to finish high school.
