Sagan just turned one year old, and this was the first time we had ever left him with someone other than family, so we were naturally a little nervous. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Janessa took great care of Sagan and made him feel right at home. It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. When we picked him up the next morning, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in her care. The biggest sign of how much fun he had came afterward. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. Any Golden Retriever owner knows that's usually the sign of a very good day. Janessa was friendly, professional, and gave us confidence that Sagan was in great hands. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. She is prone to gunk around the eyes and they even took care to inform me of it and help remove some of it so she would feel more comfortable. Also our dog never took to crate training, and the family has a great set up with room to roam and separate space for the dogs, if needed. Ideal for dogs like ours who don’t like to be crated/kenneled. Would love to have Wendy and family care for our dog again!”

About: A lifelong owner of hunting breed dogs, I have a wealth of knowledge in how to give a dog their best adventure life. I currently own two friendly dogs, 13 year old GSP Quinn and 5 year old English Setter-Pointer Sherman, who would love to share their fenced half acre yard. About: Hi! We are Belle and David and we have been caring for pets on Rover for 4+ years now. We only watch one dog at a time so that we can provide each fur baby with their own special love and care. We have a 2.5 year old mini labradoodle so we know how important your pet is and enjoy getting to know each pets unique personalities! Our dog is overall calm and lazy but willing to play with opportunities to take breaks when tired. We do require meet and greets in order to make sure our pets will be a good match for each other! 😊 Belle is a teacher and David works from home so there is always at least one of us home, especially in the summer months. Our dog Mogul is also in our home so it’s important to us that the pets are always supervised. When house sitting I am very considerate of your pets needs and your home. I leave spaces cleaner than I found them and make sure your fur baby is comfortable and happy as can be! About my house! -I have two dogs (golden retriever, mini Aussie) - I have two rabbits that live indoor and have their own room to keep them safe. I do like to let them roam the house but I wouldn’t while your pet stays with me! I only work a few days a week. I would prefer to watch animals on my off days since I work 12 hour shifts. If you need me to watch your pet for an extended stay and I’m working a few of the days, that will be fine with me as long as they don’t potty in the house. I work 12 hour shifts but live 7 minutes away from work and can come home for potty breaks! I have a fenced in yard, my two dogs have a good routine. Miley the Aussie is pretty chill but likes to play occasionally, maple the golden LOVES to play! I would take your dogs on walks also as long as they are decent on a leash! I also have lots of Kong type toys to stimulate their minds with a bit of peanut butter or wet food. I care about animals a lot and they will be safe with me.

We have had 2 boxers previously, one of which I have cared for through his late senior years, so I know what extra special care senior animals may need. About: Hi! Dogs have been a huge part of my life for 40 years. I understand the need to know your beloved 4 legged family member is being loved and cared for while you're away.In addition to caring for my own dogs for many years, I also fostered for a small dog rescue for 10 years. In doing so I gained a large amount of experience caring for a wide range of dog personalities and their unique needs. My own dogs are quite accustomed to visitors too! I have a special place in my heart for seniors and special needs dogs. No matter if your buddy likes to relax in a cozy space or go for a hike we can accommodate either. I'm a 7 days a week stay at home dog mom so can provide a lot of time and attention to your furbaby. Can feed 3 times a day if needed and as many potty breaks as required. Daily walks or hikes are easily accommodated if appropriate. Please no drop offs or pickups after 10:00pm. Time spent in the yard is always monitored. Dogs are only left alone for a maximum of 1-2 hrs. and crated or safely confined. Strictly leashed walks only. Doors are gated for the escape artist! Keeping any dogs in my care safe is extremely important to me.

About: We have both had dogs our entire lives that have spread across a variety of breeds, including Boston Terrier, English Bulldog, Labs, and Australian Shepard. We truly love all breeds and would love to spend time with your dog! We both work from home full time so there is no issue with feeding, walking or potty schedules. We generally love to spend time outdoors on the weekends and would love to take your dog on walks or hikes on the trails, if you’re comfortable. We have a fully fenced in yard and live close to an expansive trail system that we would be more than happy to walk your dog on to enjoy the outdoors. About: I’ve had dogs all my life, trained service puppies in college, trained horses for 10 years, love animals, and love exercise. Whatever your 4-legged needs I can do it! Walk or run we’ll have a great time. I am a full time student but working online, so I have a flexible schedule to make time for walks. No more than an hour at a time please. The animals have always come first in my life. I know enough from my time with my own animals to spot injuries, read emotions, and how to react to every situation.

It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. The day before my booking was supposed to start, one of my girls got attacked by another dog and needed stitches on her ear and routine medication. I offered cancellation if they weren't comfortable with that, but Amanda assured me that her training as a nurse meant treating wounds was no problem at all. My girls got lots of walks, lots of love, and proper medical care. Choosing Amanda and Eric was such a blessing!”

Our dog has a habit of scavenging and picking up anything and everything he can get his mouth around, and they’ve worked with him to help him drop those habits and introduced new techniques we could use to help him still have fun outside on trails. We’ve used their services for both weekly dog walking and multi day boarding. They really show that they care about making sure our dog is happy and comfortable.
