My large boy, Dozer, is very friendly and can come over for play dates if your dog is also friendly. About: I was born and raised on a farm so I have raised many different kinds of livestock and house pets. Animal care is one of my favorite things about living on the farm and I will treat your furry family members as one of my own. I am currently working a 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. I am able to get away during the work day for about an hour, so in that time I can come and let your pet out to potty or give them more food. On the days I am not working, I am completely free to be with your pet for as long as you need me. I will vary my care based on the situation you have at your home and on your pets temperment (ex. going to the park, walking on the sidewalk, or sticking to the yard).

About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.
