About: I have cared for animals from as early as I can remember. Around the age 12, I provided all necessary care for our family pets and other relatives pets. I now have a dog of my own! She is a 1 year old Aussie that is my best friend. We are very active together doing anything from river swims, to hikes, to long boarding! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. “Karissa helped me out in a pinch when I realized I had a long evening ahead and needed care for my 9 mo old puppy. She has a great set up for her pack of dogs, and the ones she sits. My dog is nervous about new dogs at first, and barks for the first few, but she assured me that was no problem, and she eased him in. Within 20 minutes she sent pictures of him getting acquainted with a smile on his face. I felt at ease for my evening plans, and picked up a happy (and tired) pup. Will book again knowing my pup is in good hands for some pack play.”

I messaged her and she responded within 10 minutes and agreed to take our pups at the last minute. She sent us pictures and kept our dogs busy all weekend! “Erin was fantastic with our pup Frankie! It was our first time leaving her with a sitter since adopting her but Erin was great at sending lots of pictures and videos and we could tell Frankie was in good hands and was having a blast with Erin and her family.
