About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I have also done fostering in my local community. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have two spare bedrooms, two large porches for either sunning or shade and air conditioning. I am currently only taking up to 3 dogs at one time. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea/tick control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. “I am an overprotective veterinary professional/Karen here... so I'm shocked that I found someone I'm so confident saying this about, but... Jennifer could NOT be a better, safer, more reliable, more loving, more careful and cautious pet sitter. My best friend and I were in Olympia for a few days recently for an event, and I needed somewhere for my three beautiful black crazies to be for that day. I'd spoken with some other pet sitters, but wasn't impressed, and I was getting more and more stressed out about it. Luckily, at the 13th hour, someone my daughter works with recommended Jennifer. As soon as we walked into her home, I knew I'd found my "person". Her entire house is set up to be a doggie Disneyland. Her yard is ENORMOUS, fully enclosed, and has natural ground. (Which is great, because I always worry about ACL injuries when dogs are running on concrete or slippery grass.) Within the first 10 minutes of being there, my autistic adult dog relieved herself completely, which she hadn't done throughout the prior three days we were traveling. And then... the most amazing thing of all... she started ZOOMING around the yard! I have had her for five years, and had never seen her like that before. She was like a bullet, flying through the air, unstoppable in her joy and speed. Her puppy brothers struggled to keep up with her, but couldn't. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. I felt so, so comfortable leaving my three babies with her. I'd never felt that comfortable with anyone. Beyond that, Jennifer was friendly and incredibly flexible. It's clear she really loves dogs. I told her that if I ever make the 1,000-plus mile trip again, it would be so that my dogs could visit her, and NOT so that I could see my daughter. Joking...? I think not. Thank you, Jennifer! I began by walking dogs at a local humane society, then on to becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I absolutely love dog sitting and I have the skills to administer medications. About: I've taken care of pets all of my life. We were a home that always had a cat and I was always begging my mom for a dog. I trained my first puppies at 13 and fell in love with puppy care. I've had my dog Tucker for 4 years, got him from the shelter at 5 months old and he's just the best dog. He's a big boy at 100lbs so I'm well equipped to deal with large dogs. I am fairly new to leaving my girls with a sitter, Kimberly put my mind at ease. She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”

About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I have also done fostering in my local community. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have two spare bedrooms, two large porches for either sunning or shade and air conditioning. I am currently only taking up to 3 dogs at one time. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea/tick control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking.
