About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Rescue4All rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.

About: You can ask my dog for a referral. I'm starting grad school soon, so I have a period of time in which I can work around most schedules. Dog sitting/walking is a natural skill of mine as I have cared for all kinds of dogs over the years. I’m happy to play, take pets outside into yards or for walks in the neighborhood to get their energy out, feed them on their schedules, and visit multiple times a day to keep your pet happy and entertained. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was in early high school and I was beyond thrilled every time my friends, neighbors, or family would entrust me with caring for their furry family member. As a lifetime dog owner and pet lover, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you know will take good care of them. About: I've always had dogs in my family, including several rescue dogs which has been super rewarding. My husband and I have been fortunate to be able to retire early but we are both very active. I want to spend my spare time doing something productive that I love... caring for dogs is a perfect fit! Most of my time is spent at my home and in our back yard. I have 2 dogs that are very social and love spending time with other dogs. They will enjoy having play-dates with your dog(s). I believe that every dog deserves to be valued and loved. I limit the dogs I board to a maximum of 4 dogs at a time in order to ensure that each dog will get proper care and attention. I don't work outside of the home. If I need to run an errand or go shopping, my husband is typically home to care for the digs. Dogs are rarely left alone, but if they are, it is for no longer than 2 to 3 hours. When the weather is nice, we keep the sliding door open so that the dogs can hang out indoor or outdoors, wherever they feel most comfortable. During the colder months we let the dogs out every two to four hours. We don't crate dogs unless that's what they're used to. We allow dogs on our furniture and in our bed.
