“Our worried whippets had a wonderful first stay with Margaret! Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have a genuine love for being near animals and taking care of them because they brighten my day. I am currently in college I want to try to make pet sitting a part time job so I can save up for my future. The apartment comples I live in has a dog park where a lot of dogs go and have fun, if there is any type of schedule by the owner/owners I would follow it. I usually try to relax on my free time, reading books and enjoying art, my hobbies give me time to take care of and play with the animals that I care for. About: I've been a pet lover since I was a kid. I started with frogs, lizards and snakes, and graduated to cats and dogs. Until I was able to have dogs of my own, I spent over 10 years pet-sitting for friends and family, volunteering in animal shelters, and have even worked in 2 seperate doggy daycares. My MO is always long walks and lots of attention. I have 2 dogs of my own, a cumulative 17 years of pet raising experience. I have experience caring for sick pets and administering medication both orally and subcutaneously. I've had my pups since they were young and would consider them very well trained. If you're looking to work on certain behaviors, I can absolutely work on that during their stay. I have a fenced yard, a safe neighborhood for long walks, and for longer stays, expect your dog to enjoy a nice hike! I mostly work from home, so for daycare your dog(s) would never be alone and would have access to my fully fenced backyard whenever they want. During the week, I can do a long walk during my lunch break, and another after work. Weekends I tend to go hiking, so if your pup enjoys nature, they will for sure have a great time. Due to my variable work schedule, I cannot accommodate recurring appointments. My yard is fully fenced, and I have 2 friendly dogs. Safety is paramount, so dogs would be supervised while in the yard together. If your dog requires a crate, I have both a plastic and soft sided kennel for indoors.

About: Iv always grown up around animals especially dogs. From a family setting to being just me and my dog in college. I’m a current service member so I have access on JBLM as well. I only have my one pup and getting her a fun friend for a few days is fun for us both. I’m currently off work all summer so I’m usually taking my dog on walks 2+ times a day and just getting out to enjoy the PNW sun. Super careful at first and then loosen up when I learn how they want to play and interact. Some dogs want go play 24/7 and some just like to be a potato. Both are great to me

About: I grew up loving and caring for animals. I had dogs, cats, and even parrots growing up. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have experience pet sitting for various friends and family. I used to volunteer with the Humane Society where I walked dogs and helped work play groups which helped the dogs gain social skills and helped them to get adopted. I currently volunteer with a statewide animal rescue organization doing technical animal rescues which include rescuing dogs, cats, birds, horses, and, on occasion, certain exotic animals. Our most common rescues include dogs that fall down cliffs and horses that are cast in their stalls and can't get up or are otherwise stuck and require assistance getting back up. I love getting to work with all sorts of animals and have learned a lot from the other volunteers which include EMTs, Firefighters, and Veterinarians. I work remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I'll have plenty of time to look after your beloved pets! I can easily stop by and check on them at your home as often as you'd like. I also love being outside so going on multiple walks a day would be a joy for me. I have years of experience with dogs and I also had cats growing up too. I do not currently have any pets living with me so your pet with have my undivided love and attention. I am able to maintain any schedules you keep for your pets such as when to feed them and any medications they might need to take. I'm certified in Pet First Aid/CPR and work with animals regularly due to my work in animal rescue so you can rest assured that your furbabies will be in good hands!

“Our worried whippets had a wonderful first stay with Margaret! Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”
