She was able to provide pill medication daily for one of our cats. Her daily check in messages and pictures kept us in the loop and made us feel even more comfortable. About: I have many years of experience with dogs and cats through personal pet ownership and former employment as a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant. My husband and I have 6 spoiled dogs and two cats that we adore. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks in the park and throwing a tennis ball for some play and exercise. I I have experience taking care of senior dogs and blind dogs. Also some grooming experience through an on line course and 150 externship hours. I am currently working full time but have weekends off. I am available afternoons Monday through Friday and am currently providing nail trims on dogs and cats. About: I have 7 dogs, and 7 snakes, a pet rat and a pet bunny. I also have 4 children. I'm an active person who loves to work with animals. I have a wide range of animal experiences. I went to school and got my vet assisting certificate. My dogs enjoy playing in our fenced in yard and playing with the kids who are always excited. During the summer my dogs and I enjoy bikejoring and in the winter if there is enough snow we go dog sledding. I do offer training services if you have an active pup who needs a "job" to do. “I am an overprotective veterinary professional/Karen here... so I'm shocked that I found someone I'm so confident saying this about, but... Jennifer could NOT be a better, safer, more reliable, more loving, more careful and cautious pet sitter. My best friend and I were in Olympia for a few days recently for an event, and I needed somewhere for my three beautiful black crazies to be for that day. I'd spoken with some other pet sitters, but wasn't impressed, and I was getting more and more stressed out about it. Luckily, at the 13th hour, someone my daughter works with recommended Jennifer. As soon as we walked into her home, I knew I'd found my "person". Her entire house is set up to be a doggie Disneyland. Her yard is ENORMOUS, fully enclosed, and has natural ground. (Which is great, because I always worry about ACL injuries when dogs are running on concrete or slippery grass.) Within the first 10 minutes of being there, my autistic adult dog relieved herself completely, which she hadn't done throughout the prior three days we were traveling. And then... the most amazing thing of all... she started ZOOMING around the yard! I have had her for five years, and had never seen her like that before. She was like a bullet, flying through the air, unstoppable in her joy and speed. Her puppy brothers struggled to keep up with her, but couldn't. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. I felt so, so comfortable leaving my three babies with her. I'd never felt that comfortable with anyone. Beyond that, Jennifer was friendly and incredibly flexible. It's clear she really loves dogs. I told her that if I ever make the 1,000-plus mile trip again, it would be so that my dogs could visit her, and NOT so that I could see my daughter. Joking...? I think not. Thank you, Jennifer! About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.

About: I've taken care of pets all of my life. We were a home that always had a cat and I was always begging my mom for a dog. I trained my first puppies at 13 and fell in love with puppy care. I've had my dog Tucker for 4 years, got him from the shelter at 5 months old and he's just the best dog. He's a big boy at 100lbs so I'm well equipped to deal with large dogs. I've worked with him through leash reactivity and pulling on walks, he isn't perfect but those traits don't intimidate me, I'll find a way to give your pup the best walking experience I can. “Angela graciously accepted our last-minute boarding request for our cat and was incredibly accommodating, even when our we were delayed due to traffic and weather. From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease—she is warm, caring, and clearly loves animals. She thoughtfully kept our cat separate from her dogs, which we really appreciated. Throughout the stay, our cat seemed comfortable, relaxed, and happy. Angela provided timely updates and was always quick to respond to our questions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”
“Kevin’s dog camp was a great experience for our Nico and for us! Kevin really took the time to establish a rapport with Nico and welcomed him into his home like one of his own. I had no worries over 5 days about Nico having a safe and fun place to stay. Great communication before and throughout the stay with lots of updates including pictures and videos! I think Nico is already looking forward to his next time at camp.”
“Our girls had a great stay with Kat. We were a little bit worried about having them stay with someone since they haven't in so long but Kat was really reassuring and they had fun. We got daily video and/or photos of our girls while we were away. That help immensely to reassure us. Our girls loved having social interaction with the other dogs that stayed there. Thank you again. “Darby took such outstanding care of my dog for 11 nights. My dog is a border collie / Australian cattle dog, so she loves to have exercise and have things to do. It was also during several very hot days. Darby got my dog out early in the morning and late at night, even at midnight at least one night. She also put out a kiddie pool to help the dogs cool off. My dog loves chasing and biting the water from a hose, so I'm sure that was fun. I'll certainly be continuing to use Darby when I'm away.”
