“We are so fortunate to have found Eileen to watch Kona, our 9 lb Shih Tzu. Eileen watched Kona for 4 days. Our communication started with texting, then we scheduled a meet and greet. She has a wonderful home, enclosed yard and porch which Kona took to immediately. When we dropped Kona off for our trip, she immediately went to the enclosed porch to look for any birds or squirrels that might have been nearby. Needless to say, there was no separation anxiety! Eileen sent us pictures in the morning and evening along with updates on how Kona was doing. We had complete peach of mind which allowed us to enjoy our trip. When we picked Kona up, she was happy and healthy! Eileen is very caring and it is obvious she loves what she does. She treated Kona as her own and we will definitely have her watch Kona again!”
“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

“My kitties are brothers from the same feral mum who are polar emotional opposites. When I first got them, they were only 4 months old. They took us nearly a week to come out of their shells and be themselves. With Cynthia and her family, it appears they only a day or two! When I got them back, Todd (the usually more outgoing kitty) looked somewhat depressed the next day. He seemed to miss his new-found friends and home! Cynthia and he family are wonderful people, with genuine love for animals and their welfare. Not surprising that my cats liked them more than me in a very short space of time!!!”

About: I have had a dog since I was 5 and as I got older my responsibilities for pet care increased. I love all dogs as my own and have experience watching other dogs overnight. I am currently working part time in the afternoon. Roughly 3-4 hours a day. Before work I will ensure your dog’s needs are meet with bathroom breaks, breakfast and exercise. Because I'm fair and big on respect, they feel safe loved calm and happy. They really thrive on that Dogs really need to get out run and play. I take them early in the morning and then at dusk. This is important for their mental as well as physical well being. It's the best part of my day. Also I have calm uplifting music playing during the day which aides to a calm relaxed atmosphere and they seem to really enjoy it. At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.
About: Took care of a natural history museum’s (Sternberg natural history museum) animals for a year. Did the same at a zoo (Rolling Hills Zoo) for 6 years. Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. I love all and every type of animal, I have two dogs and cared for many others, some breeds including labs, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, mini pinchers, and more. Please contact me if you request different rates. I work 8-5 with a hour lunch break. I am able to care for your pets on weekends, before and after work and on my lunch break. My partner works remotely and he is a dog lover! So we both could accommodate any needs of walking or checking in on your animals at any time. Happy to drop in to your home or stay the duration of your time away. I am also able to care for your pets at my residence if needed. We have room in the house and a big backyard.
About: 20+ years of trusted experience in responsible, professional, compassionate stewardship of pets, livestock, houses, apartments, farms, barns, and grounds, with skills that include medication administration, senior and special needs animal care, meal prep, farm maintenance, animal husbandry, dog training, and much more. I currently work remotely, which allows me to be highly flexible and mobile for farm sitting, house sitting, and pet sitting. Access to internet would be a requirement for me to watch your home and pets for long periods during the day and for overnight and extended stays. As an animal lover and one who prides himself on being responsible and reliable, I put the security of your home and your pets' needs, comfort, enrichment and safety as my first priority. About: I have grown up with dogs and love them so very much! I have raised my own german Shepard (she’s 4) since she was a puppy. I also have experience caring for neighbors dogs, and taking them on long walks.I will love your dog as if it’s my own🐾 I am off work the week before thanksgiving and will be in town to care for your fur babies! I work 4 10’s but am typically available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to care for your fur babies I have a large yard behind my apartment with lots of grass! There are various parked nearby within walking distance that make for a great energy burner

About: I’ve always had a lot of animals growing up. I love all animals. Teaching dogs basic manners and taking care of them. I am organized and very attentive. I work part time and am very flexible. I can change my schedule to work for you ans your needs as I make my own schedule. I have a fenced yard, and can use a crate if needed. I can also come to your home and take care of them there.

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”
