About: I have taken care of a dog, a cat, and farm animals since I was 12 years old. I love walking long distances with my dog. I am also very good at reading animal body language and I know how to do all of the basic animal care necessities. I do have a golden retriever and our schedule that your dog would also follow unless they’re special needs is we wake up at seven am, we go outside to go potty, then feed them they play and rest then we go for a walk. Then later I give them their second feeding, take them out to go to the bathroom and take a small walk in our neighborhood before it’s time to rest and chill and head to bed. I live in a cozy gated apartment with my husband, Greg and my golden retriever. My husband works as a in-home caregiver and when he gets home he helps me out. He is also an animal lover, and if I am housesitting, he travels with me as well as my very friendly golden retriever. I promise as a married couple we will respect your house and environment we will also bring our own sleeping equipment and we don’t mind doing house chores.

About: We've had pets in my home since I was a baby, so I'm very familiar with caring for different types of dogs and cats, from super energetic to one's that love and need their own space. I've done dog walking and sitting, as well as cat sitting. I'm currently a student athlete at UAFS, so I have less availability during the week than I do on the weekends, which are completely free. If there is a day on the weekend that isn't I will let you know in advance. If your pet does need more care during the week, we can absolutely work something out that's the best for them and my classes. I'm a super flexible as a person, so whether your pet needs ample play time and attention, or just needs a calming presence with them while you're away or at work, I can accommodate both. If you'd rather me be there for just a check in walk/feeding and then leave, that's also completely fine.

Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.

Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”

“Once again Shasta was AMAZING! I never been away from my pup so long (2 weeks!) before and it was really hard for me. Shasta sent me lots of pictures and videos showing me how happy Remington was, how much fun he was having with her family, and how well he was doing. That helped tremendously. When I returned home she had bathed him, washed all of his bedding, and he was in happy spirits. I couldn’t be happier with a dog sitter. Shasta goes above and beyond!
