From the start, she took the time to get to know us and our pups, Lexi and Charlie, making sure it was a good fit—and that little extra care made us feel totally at ease leaving them during our honeymoon. She made the whole process effortless, stayed in great communication, and sent us the perfect amount of updates—just enough to ease our dog-parent hearts without making us too jealous that our dogs were clearly living their best lives. The photo updates were a highlight (Lexi’s modeling career may have peaked). The best part? Lexi and Charlie came home happy, tired, and weirdly… better behaved? Not sure what kind of magic Kelsey worked, but we’re here for it. Her home is lovely, and her sweet dogs made great vacation buddies for ours. “I am the kind of person who hates leaving their dog with anyone because I'm so paranoid the worst case scenario could happen.... Not the case with Roxanne! She was quick to get in touch with me after my initial request and very flexible with my schedule. Clooney's tail wags nonstop as soon as we pull into her driveway, and he seems to forget about me the minute we walk through the door! Roxanne sends periodic texts and pictures throughout the day, which I also love. My mind is always at ease once I drop Clooney off at Roxanne's house, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Anacortes and Oak Harbor area!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was ten years old and love getting to know them. I will be their calm and confident leader. Safety is my top priority (with fun being close behind) I will tailor each visit to the individual pet depending on their needs and personality. I run with my dog Daisy 4-6 miles a day and would love to adventure with yours! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! Beginning in the Fall I will be available every Wednesday & Thursday morning for walks/jogs. As of now I am available for boardings anytime. For walks and jogs I am currently available at various times throughout the week. We are diligent about keeping our doors shut for our pets safety. Our dog has a long leash she can use in order to explore our backyard whenever she wants. I am adaptable and happy to follow each owner’s specific requirements for their home and keep the pets safety as my top priority.

We needed a sitter of our dog while we went out on a boat tour for several hours necessary because we were visiting from a community a few hours distant. All became very confusing when the scheduled sitter cancelled at the last moment. William calmed us and managed our concerns with grace. AND, our doggie was very pleased and happy.”
About: I believe dogs have the best souls on earth. Enjoy hiking, playing in the yard, or simply being in their space. I also enjoy training from puppy to advanced agility. I’ve trained a couple different types of dogs and a bird ranging in ages. Also able to transport locally to homes, vet, and or parks. My late sweet Pepper dog and I were Project Caine certified as a Therpy team, volunteers at island hospital, and Master Agility Champions. We look forward to meeting with other awesome dogs and their owners. I work in the travel industry, so my schedule varies. I usually know a couple weeks in advance. My spouse’s schedule varies too. Sometimes we are available 24/7 We treat Pets as Family in our home.🥰. We live on acreage close to Deception Pass. We have experience with administering 💊 medication to young and older fur babies 🐾
