About: I have caretaking experience, I have had many pets in my lifetime from puppies, dogs with heart murmurs, to timid rescues that need lots of growth and support. I have a belief that all dogs can be cares for with ease, because I understand them through their personalities and specific needs. Every dog is unique in a beautiful way, just like humans, I do my best to pick up on their queues and give them the attention they deserve and give them good energy. “This was our first time using rover. Usually, I went with family and friends but have had some poor experiences in the past that made it hard to relax on vacation ? I was so nervous to leave my babies with someone, especially since the tragic and sudden loss of one of my pets this year. However, Jodi exceeded every expectation and alleviated all of my anxieties. She was incredibly communicative, sent unprompted updates, loved my babies, kept the house clean and spoiled them endlessly. One of my pets has a neuro disability and is very fearful/skittish. He does not like people (even us sometimes). But he gave Jodi kisses and even ate out of her hand! That was HUGE. I came back to a spotless house even though I told her not to worry about cleaning!! About: I have worked with both cat and dog rescue centers on and off since I was 12 years old. I was in charge of most of the general care for the animals (feeding, walking, playing, cleaning, etc). I am a wildlife biologist and have taken classes on animal behavior and training. I currently work Monday - Thursdays and am free to watch your furbabies during Friday - Sunday. About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I have a main house and a studio next door, along with two fenced in backyards. I am near the Hoquiam town hall nearby the town which is perfect for long walks.

In my home, I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel comfortable. I follow their feeding and exercise schedule closely and ensure they get plenty of attention, affection, and mental stimulation. When caring for pets in their own home, I maintain their regular routine as closely as possible — from mealtimes and walks to medication and cuddle time. I keep the home tidy, respect their space, and provide regular updates so you always know your pet is happy and in good hands.
