About: I have worked with both cat and dog rescue centers on and off since I was 12 years old. I was in charge of most of the general care for the animals (feeding, walking, playing, cleaning, etc). I am a wildlife biologist and have taken classes on animal behavior and training. I currently work Monday - Thursdays and am free to watch your furbabies during Friday - Sunday. I am an early riser and do not mind early drop in visits either. I have worked with a variety of sized dogs as well as cats and I feel comfortable interacting and caring for them. I know that each animal has a different personality and may require different types of care. I plan on taking care of your animals with the same love and caring as I put into my own pets.

I love bathing, walking, grooming and caring for animals of all types. Ive always tried to help stray animals or lost animals and love welcoming new animals into my home and heart. I'm looking to work from home completely so I will have plenty of time to hangout with your pets and fulfill their needs. I love taking animals with me on errands and finding new places to take walks. We are looking to fence our entire yard on our almost .50 of an acre property. Plenty of running room and near multiple parks. In the house animals are free to roam and there is not many things they can damage. I'm respectful and responsible especially in other people's space. I follow instructions very well and always take others into consideration before action.

“She is very friendly, easy going and flexible. She is a kind person. When a dog jumped up on my dress she ran to the rescue with natural solvents. My dress is still beautiful thanks to her quick thinking! My dog just adores her. I feel now like she is my baby’s second home. There is a large property so lots of walking potential. Also a fenced in play area when it’s needed. The dogs are able to spend time in doors or out doors. Plenty of parking space if your drop off or pickup times coincide with other owners. Have you ever seen a happy smile on a dog? These are happy dogs!! 🤣”

About: I have taken care of dogs for years! I have dogs ranging from sizes from Chihuahua to German Shepherd! I am experienced with Chihuahuas, who aren't very friendly to Overactive puppies! About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!
