About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old and have experience with a wide range of breeds—from Golden Retrievers and Great Dane mixes to Australian Shepherds. Over the past few years, I cared for our senior Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who had special needs and required a detailed medication routine. I have a large, fully fenced backyard that provides plenty of safe space for dogs to run, play, and explore. We’re located in a quiet, semi-rural neighborhood that offers a calm and relaxed environment, away from heavy traffic and city noise. The area also has many nearby trails and walking paths, which are perfect for daily walks, fresh air, and little adventures depending on each dog’s energy level. It’s a great setting for dogs to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and feel comfortable while they’re away from home.

When we picked up Maro after the activity, we left something behind. Thomas took time to bring them over to where we were staying... When Maro saw Thomas again, he was so happy which reconfirmed my dog had a good time with him!”

We recently had to say goodbye to our Boston terrier due to cancer, and I’m missing having a furry friend to hang out with at home. I work from home 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday and have two 15 minute breaks and a half an hour break during that time. I also have flexibility throughout the day. We have a nice comfortable home and a very walkable neighborhood. I enjoy walking down to the South Bend waterfront, which is only a couple blocks from our house.
