Our Luna has been a bit depressed since her stroke a few years ago but after coming home from doggy daycare with them she way spunky, happy, and is even spending more time outside with a smile whereas it was difficult to get her to enjoy much time outside before as she would want to go back into the house or wouldn’t leave the back porch much. I’m so happy to see her rolling in the dirt and playing now. This means the world!!! About: I owned and operated my own dog boarding and hiking business from 2017-2025 called Happy Tails On Trails, caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I’m flexible with all play styles and feeding habits, all while staying firm against begging for food we can’t have and keeping a close eye on problem behaviors such as digging or pillow ripping. I love all kinds of dogs, from hyperactive to couch potatoes, malamutes to chihuahuas, puppies to senior dogs. I’ll be sure to keep your fluffy friends entertained and well kept while you’re away! As for walking, I always strive to make sure your four legged friend has their share of exercise and fresh air. My time is currently open to weekdays from 6 am to 11 pm. About: I've always had dogs in my family, including several rescue dogs which has been super rewarding. My husband and I were fortunate to be able to retire early but we are both very active. I wanted to spend my time doing something productive that I love and caring for dogs is the perfect fit! I believe that every dog deserves to be valued and loved. I limit the dogs I board to a maximum of 5 dogs at a time in order to ensure that each dog will get proper care and attention (with the exception of over holidays when I will book up to 10 dogs) I don't work outside of the home. If I need to run an errand or go shopping, my husband is typically home to care for them. Dogs are rarely left alone, but if they are, it is for no longer than 2 to 3 hours. When the weather is nice, we keep the sliding door open so that the dogs can hang out indoor or outdoors, wherever they feel most comfortable. During the colder months we let the dogs out every two to four hours. We don't crate dogs unless that's what they're used to. We allow dogs on our furniture and in our bed. Dog sitting is my full time profession. I do not work outside the home and I'm available to board dogs 7 days a week 24 hours a day! My yard is fully fenced and dog proof. I have a friendly Chihuahua mix named Rudy who loves to hang out and play with other dogs.

I know not to let them chew on things they shouldn't chew on. I know not to let the eat things off the ground. I know to let them warm up to you first so they aren't scared of you or aggressive to you. I know that they gotta go outside very often so they can use the restroom and play and run off some energy I also know that dogs love toys to play with and even when we play with them and show them love and attention.
About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl, when my family rescued a pregnant dog, and we raised her puppies together. I have a lot of experience with cats, especially seniors who need extra love or medicine. While I enjoy dogs of all ages, I specialize in small to medium breeds. I’m a patient sitter who focuses on building trust. My husband often joins me on our pet-sitting adventures! He absolutely loves dogs, and they always have a blast playing with him. This means your pet gets double the love, attention, and playtime during our visits. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are our top priorities! I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for midday walks and check-ins both on weekdays and weekends. I can easily stick to your pet’s usual routine to make sure they get plenty of attention and potty breaks while you’re away. I live right by the Centennial Trail, which is perfect for safe and scenic walks! I always keep dogs on a leash and stay very alert to our surroundings. Our Luna has been a bit depressed since her stroke a few years ago but after coming home from doggy daycare with them she way spunky, happy, and is even spending more time outside with a smile whereas it was difficult to get her to enjoy much time outside before as she would want to go back into the house or wouldn’t leave the back porch much.
