They made sure she got all her medications and adjusted her walks based on what she could handle. I’m pretty sure Callie felt like she was at a spa—between the gentle attention, extra brushing, and love from their three wonderful kids, she was clearly in great hands. I accidentally mixed up the pickup date by a day, but Lindsey and Leland were incredibly accommodating and kept Callie that extra day without hesitation. I was so relieved, knowing she wouldn’t have to be shuffled to a different home just for one night. Throughout her stay, they regularly updated us with photos—Callie lounging in the grass, out on a walk, or happily curled up in someone’s lap. The peace of mind they gave us was priceless. About: I have grown up in a cat family. Within the last year I have gotten two of my own. They are little lights in my life. I try my best to give them a happy life. They have plenty of toys (almost too many like most pet parents do spoiling them), their litter boxes are changed routinely, and I try to feed them with good cat food that doesn't put a hole in my wallet. I have trained them to wear a harness and to come to me when I call their names. I have had medical scares with them and thankfully nothing too serious. I had to give medications to one of them for rat ulcer on his upper lip. I had to give his medication through a syringe in his mouth and feed him a tube while doing so. He's a chill cat so he took like a champ.

About: Misty (my sweet 8-year-old Lab) and I have three acres to play on, with Chickens, ducks and dwarf goats to play with. We are outside almost all the time, weather permitting. If you want your dog to get a lot of attention and have a lot of fun instead of just sitting around, we might be the place for you! I'm retired so am available most days (Sunday through Friday) for extended hours. I am always with Misty so if we find the right dog or dogs to hang out with us I will be very flexible about hours. We have three acres completely fenced, although I am in the middle of upgrading the fence from 4 feet tall to 6 to keep out deer. In the morning we feed the animals and water the garden and ornamental flowers/bushes and trees. Then it is play time or projects. We play fetch, take the goats for a walk on the property, or go on an adventure walk to visit neighbor dogs and smell all of the things! In between playing I work on projects around the property. Planting, harvesting, landscaping, etc. In the heat we take breaks inside with air conditioning and in the cold we take breaks to warm up but we'd almost always rather be outside where the fun is!

I have experience with pets of all ages and temperaments, including highly reactive dogs, and I always use calm, patient handling while respecting each animal’s boundaries. For pets staying in my home, I have a fully fenced yard where they can safely enjoy outdoor time, play, and enrichment while supervised. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own, leaving it just as I found it. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and happy.
About: In the last three years I’ve raised 3 different puppies and taken care of a personal rescue. Aswell I’ve taken care of 3 senior/weak dogs at the same time with no issues. I currently work as a farm hand on my mom’s horse facility. So when home I’m out doing projects. But I can leave and stay anywhere if without much fuss. I have a nice fenced yard for free play time aswell as some land for them to really stretch the legs. I have two healers at my home. One spayed female 2yrs old, and one 7 month old male not neutered. Also note that Clancy is a puppy (7 months old & weighs 48+ lbs) with lots of energy and Lauren handled him expertly.”
About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child,love dogs,cats, chickens , cows, horses,you name it! Will definitely give your family member love and care while you are away, whether at my house or yours! Currently not working elsewhere,our little ranch is busy. We have Dogs, Kitty's, chickens and fish in our little water feature,so am available to spend lots of time with your family member! I have a kennel available and my dogs and cats are wonderful! Obviously,we will talk about leash walking as we free range our chickens and would never set someone's family member up for failure by putting any animal around things they are unfamiliar with. I am equipped to deal with situations if any of the animals ever seem uncomfortable! Also have a new smaller fenced area!

About: Since growing up I have always taken care of animals; big and small! I have worked with and trained service dogs. I am able to be gentle, patient, and open, but also strong when needed. I am able to administer medication when needed, and have taken some vet classes for both big and small animals! I am not currently working so I am at home all day to provide attention and care for your pup! I go on daily walks already allowing me to take your pup out for a good walk and burn energy I can easily crate your pup, I do not have a fence but areas for them to run around. About: I’ve been a pet sitter/house sitter for 3 years now and I absolutely love it! From feeding the animals, providing them daily exercise, and managing medications, I have it all! I also have a fur baby of my own who is 5 years old. I love to be able to pet sitting/house sit over the weekend. I work my primary job during the week, so I live to be able to spend some time with animals on the weekend and help other people enjoy there weekends away! So I have plenty of time to be with your pets! Just need time to check on my own kitty every once in a while. I live in an apartment, probably not the best for me to take in your pets. About: I have two dogs of my own, one dog is Bud who is a golden doodle 2 years old and 85 pounds. My other dog is Lola who is a yorkie 14 years old and 15 pounds. I have a lot of experience with all the ages and sizes of dogs as well as senior dogs. I have always grown up with pups in the house. My family has 2 teacup chihuahuas and 2 frenchies. About: Your dog is not going to like it here. Your dog is going to LOVE it here. This isn’t just dog boarding; it’s a dog vacay. The yard is a like a dog park, with bushes to hide and seek in and plenty of room for zoomies. Dogs have access to a fully large, fenced yard and a large dog door to come inside as they feel the need, plenty of toys and a dog bed for lazy naps in every room. Two large yards are available and accessible to dogs that need more space or solitude. I am seasoned in all breeds, ages and temperaments. I have never had a dog come through my house that we don’t now share a special bond. Every fur baby is loved like my own and I will make them feel like they are part of my pack while they are in my care. Your dog will love to stay here and will be excited to come back. Ease your conscience knowing your dog is living its best life at dog camp while hopefully you are doing the same on vacation. Your dog's comfort and care are my first priority from the time we wake up and throughout the night. My schedule is your dog's schedule, and they are supervised the whole time they are with me. That being said, I can I take dogs as early as 5:30am, however pickup times are no later than 8pm. I’m sorry, I no longer have the exception to this rule. If I need to leave for any reason, they are either crated or in a dog proof room especially for dogs. My senior dog is welcoming to all. She is very good at picking up the tone of the dogs that stay with us and matches that energy. Her manners are on point, and she sets the best doggy example for others.
About: I have been around animals since I was a baby, I have 19 years of pet experience. We have a small farm. I’ve also helped my mom on rover for the past few months. I am currently helping my mother with Rover so my schedule is pretty flexible. When you book with either of us you will receive 3 adults giving your babies the upmost care and respect. I have a fenced 3 acre yard and 3 friendly dogs to keep your babies company. I have crates and means of separation if that is necessary. We treat our company like family, they are allowed on furniture and able to sleep with us unless told otherwise.
