“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

About: Hi, I’m Brian! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. Right now, it's just me and my cat, Vader, so I would absolutely love to welcome a canine (or another feline) presence back into my home! I work at WSU and live a quiet, peaceful life here in Colfax. Because my home is a kid-free environment and I spend a lot of my time here, your pet will get plenty of focused attention, companionship, and love. About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and love dogs! I am a hands on care giver and make sure the pets are happy and healthy. I’m currently a stay at home mom of a 12-year-old boy and a 5-year-old Schnoodle, Coco. My daughter is pre-med at WSU and is often home to help as well. About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life from dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and I’ve had experience with goats, sheep, cows, exc. I helped someone who had dogs that had puppies and that was challenging but an amazing experience. I’ve got lots of love and experience with all different dog breeds & temperaments. I currently have dogs, cats, and chickens of my own! I am currently a stay at home parent to two kiddos. One is in school so I’m not available during drop off or pick up. I’m not available most Tuesdays or Thursdays from 7-4 p.m. but available after that. I have a fenced yard at home but I do live in the woods and have some bit of land that is not immediately fenced off. I always keep a close watch on my pets daytime or nighttime and I would do the same for yours if they were at my home. I would follow the pet owners lead and what they feel is best for their pets at their own home and do my best to go above & beyond meeting the fur baby needs/owners needs.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for 10years and have cared for many different dogs breeds from young to senior. I was raised around many types of animals including horses, dogs, cats. My love for animals shows in my ability to be patient and assess their individual needs. Your animal will be well taken care of and have you feeling worry free. In my home I feed animals 2 times a day at 8am and 8pm. I take dogs out to go to the bathroom at 7:30am, 11:30am, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and lastly at 9:00pm. If your animals needs to go out after that I will do so. I have an unfenced yard but use a staked leash in the ground. I also can take them out on your leash if your more comfortable with that, but if your dog is a jumper (needing a 6ft fence) he/ she will be leashed walked for potty time and can walk them for a good period of time. Everyday at the best weathered part of the day or around noon I will be taking your fur-baby out for at least an hour walk or go to the dog park/ run if allowed during longer stays (more than 2 days). For the animals that I will be taking care of at their home I will feed them on the schedule that you have for them already and as close to those times as possible. I will take them on a 30 min walk at least once a day and give take them out to go to the bathroom once in the morning and once in the evening. If you let me know what needs to be done and it will be done as close to the times as possible Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs or allergies i.e. seasonal and/or food so I can take the appropriate measures to insure he/she has a wonderful time within those limits. I also request that you let me know of any behavioral needs that he/she has ahead of time. for example if they get along with other dogs and animals, or pull on there leash ( mainly for bigger dogs) etc.

About: I became a first responder to care for others on their worst days. My own pup has kept me company during mine, especially when work becomes a bit stressful. Overall he has completed my little family 🐶👨👧 I wouldn't mind spending some of my free time caring for your pets. I myself have a Doberman named Achilles who is such a affectionate pup. I have spent the last year training him on obedience, commands, socialization, food aggression, leash behavior, discipline and recall. My dog is a perfect example of how my style of care is. Dobermans are a high energy breed and require a lot of mental stimulation to maintain a healthy balance within the home. Anytime I am providing care to one of your pets, my goal will be aligned with what I expect from sitters when I hire them to watch my pup during trips I can't take him on. That will be to maintain that same feeling of routine and care for your pet that you provide for them.
“Jillian helped us out with staying overnight for 9-ish days, to hang and care for our cat. She exceeded our expectations of what a cat sitter should be and made everything easy! She has great communication, she followed our probably annoyingly detailed directions, she she is very clean, she is nice, and most importantly we could sense that she really cared about our cat. Our cat does not warm up to everyone but Jillian seemed to have little problem making friends with him. :) Jillian helped us to enjoy our trip more than normal because we just knew we had nothing to worry about with our cat’s health and happiness while we were away. And gosh it’s priceless to return from a long trip to find a house just as clean as we left it (if not cleaner). About: Dogs seem to love me because I love them. We have a lot of fun! I make them feel valued and important. I give them lots of attention and love. Because I'm fair and big on respect, they feel safe loved calm and happy. They really thrive on that Dogs really need to get out run and play. I take them early in the morning and then at dusk. This is important for their mental as well as physical well being. It's the best part of my day. Also I have calm uplifting music playing during the day which aides to a calm relaxed atmosphere and they seem to really enjoy it. I have two dogs that compete and play frisbee and I can teach your dog too. I also like good nutritious treats and make my own. Dogs are God's wonderful complement to mankind. I love them!!!

If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.
About: years full of pet experience , house sitting for my aunts & uncles. capable of giving shots to dogs as i have been doing for a year or two watching my aunts dog that is diabetic & needed an insulin shot every time she ate! i am such an animal lover whether your pet needs physical affection or just someone around to keep company. i am currently a student , i have three long days , i am in school monday, tuesday & wednesday from 9am-7:30pm. if your pet is super low maintenance i can be there in the morning before school & come over after school , but thursday-sunday would be best because i am available throughout the whole days those four days for those higher maintenance pets :) i love showing pets the love & attention that they deserve. from belly scratching , toy playing , i am pretty active even small walks for the dogs says a lot! i am unable to board pets at my own home but anytime you need a sitter around im there for your fur babies!
About: Took care of a natural history museum’s (Sternberg natural history museum) animals for a year. Did the same at a zoo (Rolling Hills Zoo) for 6 years. Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. Additionally I've been on Rover for years as a teen but my mother owned the account (if you’d like proof of that I can give my mothers account to see my prior experience) but I did all the sitting. Now that I’m an adult in college I plan on continuing it myself. During this summer I am just taking one summer online course and doing some volunteer odd jobs so I am extremely flexible and available. Whenever you prefer at whatever frequency you want I most likely can make it work. While I don’t offer pets in my home I am very familiar with managing pets in others homes. Just tell me what you and the pet is comfortable with and I will follow it. Additionally any messes that may happen I will make sure to clean throughly. My #1 priority is your pet’s health, mental and physical. However the very next priority is your home. When house sitting I’m more than aware of the need to be respectful of the space. About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life from dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and I’ve had experience with goats, sheep, cows, exc. I helped someone who had dogs that had puppies and that was challenging but an amazing experience. I’ve got lots of love and experience with all different dog breeds & temperaments. I currently have dogs, cats, and chickens of my own! I am currently a stay at home parent to two kiddos. One is in school so I’m not available during drop off or pick up. I’m not available most Tuesdays or Thursdays from 7-4 p.m. but available after that. I have a fenced yard at home but I do live in the woods and have some bit of land that is not immediately fenced off. I always keep a close watch on my pets daytime or nighttime and I would do the same for yours if they were at my home. I would follow the pet owners lead and what they feel is best for their pets at their own home and do my best to go above & beyond meeting the fur baby needs/owners needs.
