I was able to do a meet and greet prior where my dog, Trowa, was able to meet the other sweet pups staying at Jerrie’s. Jerrie sent updates twice a day with tons of photos of all of the fun they were having which made us feel much more comfortable having Trowa stay somewhere else while we were gone. About: All my life, I’ve grown up around animals — cats, dogs, chickens, fish, and more — so caring for pets comes naturally to me. About: I've owned cats my whole life. Indoor-outdoor--fat- playful...all of them. I love cats and know when to play, snuggle and when to give them space. About: I grew up with dogs and love dogs like crazy! In my house dogs are treated like honored guests. I love to snuggle with dogs and take them everywhere. In my life I've had many different types of dogs as well as a ferret, fish, a snake, and a few birds. I'm an advocate for any animal no matter what the shape size or species. About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.

I currently work a part-time job, but only three days a week. I am currently trying to become a teacher. I'm happy to accommodate most days and am pretty flexible, as you need. Please let me know or give me a heads-up so we can work something out! My home features a fenced backyard and a 4-year-old fur baby who loves to run and play. I have done leash training before with my last dog, so if my client does not have a backyard, it is not a problem for me to take them outside. Therefore, I love being outdoors and enjoy walking through the neighborhood or trails. There are a few by my house as well.

About: I’ve taken care of family and neighborhood pets since I was in middle school and people in my neighborhood have come to rely on me to check in on their pets regularly. I am also an Animal Sciences student studying at Oregon State University (but I’m home for the summer in the Olympia area!) hoping to become a veterinarian and have worked in some clinical settings, so I have a bit of a background in veterinary medicine to give your pets the best care! I’m currently shadowing at a veterinary clinic three days a week but other than that I’m widely available to take care of your pets! I generally shadow Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (but days may change) from 8-5:30, but I have a lunch break from 12-2 every day and am able to let pets out mid day! Other than that I am largely available most other days! I treat every client's home with the same care and respect as my own. I carefully follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable and loved while you're away, keep your home clean and secure, and provide regular photo and text updates so you always know how they're doing. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and stress-free in the environment they know best.

I enjoy dogs of all sizes and ages and have the flexibility to provide and care for any dog. “Our worried whippets had a wonderful first stay with Margaret! Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”
