“Carmen was a life saver! We needed a last minute sitter for the 4th of July weekend. Not only did Carmen respond quickly, but also did some schedule shifting to accommodate our last minute needs. We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks). About: Back when I was a kid, my family owned a cattery that I helped take care of. We owned 32 cats and 1 dog at one time. Growing up, I learned how to truly take care of animals, helping deliver kittens during birth, bottle feeding, and training them to be tolerant, friendly, handleable, and able to take walks on a harness and leash. I've had many different pets since then, including a snake, fish, and cats of my own. I've always loved animals of all kinds and I've had a unique kinship with almost every animal I meet. About: I’ve only been doing this for three years but I do have experience with puppies (both calm and hyperactive) and senior dogs who require medications. I also am fine with pitbulls. I have a job that is typically 6 hrs long. I will get assigned double shifts which is 11 hours on Sundays. I also am available to do other kinds of pet sitting like aquatic and reptilian if needed. For my clients I usually play and sit with them depending on if they feel playful. I walk them once a day but if you’d like me to take them out multiple times a day that’s great too! I pick up poop everyday or every other day. I also have aquatic pets (I know this service is for dogs but I thought I’d throw that in there) so if you need feedings, cleanings, or water changes I can do that too!

With one kitty recently diagnosed as diabetic, I needed a sitter who was able to find her hiding place of the day and get her oral meds (which she hates) into her. About: *MUST MEET ME AND MY LAB IN PUBLIC PRIOR TO BOOKING*. Although my lab, Hela loves everyone, unfortunately not every dog loves her so please set a meeting prior to booking! I'm flexible with times and locations! I offer attention to detail and love for pups. I'm the pup mom that knows all my dogs allergies and favorite foods! I've had dogs my entire life and even as a kid began training them! My friends always choose me when they are going out of town to watch their pups. I actually decided to join Rover after one of the pups I watch dads suggested I should! I work from home with my black lab who loves everyone and is a gentle soul (her 2 besties are a min pin and a golden retriever) and currently she is the only animal in my house. We take hourly stretch breaks to pee and play a little ball! I have a fenced yard with grass. If you'd like, I'll send cute pictures throughout the day too! Also if allowed, the pups go with me to get weekly pups cups from Starbs. I work from home and have a black lab, so all day everyday I do pet care. My job fortunately makes it easy to interact with thr pups and make sure their needs are taken care of. Prior to recently (they moved), I was watching a golden retriever (Duke) along with my lab every week day and his dad is who suggested I start rover as he would often say "I know my buddy is safe and happy here, he has the best of time". Currently, when we have a guest I make sure there food is prepared and on time. We take hourly potty and play breaks (more if requested - I have a buzzer my dog presses). The rest of the day the pups are free to roam the house with me. I have dog beds (including some in my office), thousands of toys (my dog unfortunately does not destroy anything lol), and when we have an overnight guest, the pups sleep in the bed with me (unless otherwise requested). I love pups and have always wanted more but babysitting is a happy medium!
About: I have had dogs in my home for the majority of my life and loved every minute of it. After recently losing our girl to old age I’ve been missing time with fur babies. They really are the best! I’ve joined Rover to love on other fur babies and get some steps in all at the same time! About: I've had dogs for as long as I remember growing up. My favorites were a Great Dane and a Golden Retriever. I also have taken care of a litter of puppies from a stray so I know how to take care of little ones. I also had a cockatiel for a few years that I loved till we moved somewhere that didn't allow pets. So I can take care of and love birds as well! I'm a stay at home Mom right now, so plenty of time to spend loving on your pet! I'm used to feeding dogs morning and night. We live in the middle of nowhere! So dogs will have so much space to run and play on walks with minimal risk of cars or other dogs besides my own. They will love the fields to walk by.

Fenced backyard, the house has plenty of space inside for running and playing when weather is bad. Dogs I own are very kind and playful. My home allows me to keep the Pets separate if needed.

About: I work as a veterinary assistant at an urgent care facility in town. I’ve worked in urgent care going on 4 years and general practice for 2 years. I occasionally cat sit and dog sit. I have a lot of knowledge in my career but I also love spending time with animals and making sure they’re happy, the clients and I just overall enjoy the joy they bring to me! I work 3 12s but I am able to stop in the check on the fur babies on my lunches. I also am very flexible with times I need to go take care of them on my days off as well. I have two kitties of my own. I don’t plan on being able to board pets at my own home due to me renting a house without a fenced backyard.
About: I’ve had a dog in my life since I was a young girl, now I dog sit for my parents and for my sisters I work full time and I’m a single mother of a 10 year old and looking for afternoon fun with fur friends am available after 2 pm I have a puppy that loves to play with other dogs and a 10 year old son that loves animals and would be willing to help take good care of your fur babies
About: I have always been an animal lover, and have had many of my own pets through out the years. I take dog sitting very seriously. I feel that it is a privilege and huge responsibility when taking care of someone else animals. They are YOUR family members and deserve to be taken care of well when not w their families. I like to have owners write down personality traits, behaviors, and expects for me prior to taking a job. A meet and greet is crucial and important to make sure your animals are comfortable with me and I with them. Having a sitter can be expensive but I promise worth it to have someone come to your home to eliminate anxiety or stress for the fur family and the animals. I will run and play and provide comfort for your animals. I personally enjoy the “unruly” ones that keep me on my toes because I believe every animal is trainable. Please consider me for your dog sitting, walking, needs. (Tri cities area only.) I have a very open and flexible schedule right now. I am partially disabled and pivoting from health care to animal care and I love it. I can not care for pets at my home right now but I am available for in home stays or drop in visits. Depending on what the pet and pet families needs are.
About: Been taking care of animals since I was 9yrs old starting off with taking care of a litter of puppies. To plenty of experience with cats, up to med dogs, and goats. I’m very patient with the animals and give them room to get comfortable with me and learn there boundaries 🤍 I’m available after 5:30pm Monday-Thursday, as I work full time at a winery out of town. Other then that I’m available at any time Friday-Sunday. As mentioned I’m very patient and let the animals get comfortable with my presence and make small movements and sit on the ground and show that I’m not a threat. I take it slow to see the animals boundary’s and let them come to me. Typically, I try to incorporate there favorite play you and build a bond. Your fur babies happiness is important to me while your away.

“Carmen was a life saver! We needed a last minute sitter for the 4th of July weekend. Not only did Carmen respond quickly, but also did some schedule shifting to accommodate our last minute needs. We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks).
