About: I’ve only been doing this for three years but I do have experience with puppies (both calm and hyperactive) and senior dogs who require medications. I also am fine with pitbulls. I have a job that is typically 6 hrs long. I will get assigned double shifts which is 11 hours on Sundays. I also am available to do other kinds of pet sitting like aquatic and reptilian if needed. For my clients I usually play and sit with them depending on if they feel playful. I walk them once a day but if you’d like me to take them out multiple times a day that’s great too! I pick up poop everyday or every other day. I also have aquatic pets (I know this service is for dogs but I thought I’d throw that in there) so if you need feedings, cleanings, or water changes I can do that too!

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and have experience caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and needs. Growing up with cats has taught me how to recognize their unique behaviors, respect their boundaries, and make them feel safe and comfortable. I also have experience caring for cats with special needs, including a tripod cat and cats with autoimmune diseases. I’m comfortable following care routines, administering medications if needed, monitoring for changes in behavior or health, and providing the extra patience and attention that special-needs cats deserve. Whether your cat is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, a senior, or has medical needs, I’ll make sure they receive loving, attentive care while you’re away. My goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and maintain their normal routine as much as possible.

“I had a great experience with Courtney! I have a 9-week-old puppy, so I was naturally nervous about leaving him, but she did an amazing job. She was patient, caring, and made sure he was well taken care of during her visit. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. I really appreciated her reliability and the care she showed for my puppy. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pet!”

“Juanita was great with our kitties and sent us photos each day. She also brought in a package that was delivered and took care of the house. She spent time with the cats so they weren’t lonely.”

“Rachel, Dave’s partner, did a wonderful job looking after our senior special needs cat! She gave subcutaneous injections twice a day and gave us lots of pictures and updates about our sweet boy. She also accepted this job VERY last minute and we appreciate it greatly. Very friendly and professional - we will absolutely be using her as our go-to kitty sitter. ☺️”

About: Although I have never owned a cat, I have sisters who love and adore cats and I have had the privledge of bonding with their feline family members. I realize the importance of feeding and playing with them and will do so if you allow me the privledge to watch your cat.

About: Back when I was a kid, my family owned a cattery that I helped take care of. We owned 32 cats and 1 dog at one time. Growing up, I learned how to truly take care of animals, helping deliver kittens during birth, bottle feeding, and training them to be tolerant, friendly, handleable, and able to take walks on a harness and leash. I've had many different pets since then, including a snake, fish, and cats of my own. I've always loved animals of all kinds and I've had a unique kinship with almost every animal I meet. I commonly hear "They're usually not this friendly" around new pets I meet, and at parties and other events, I'm usually found petting the dog on the floor somewhere. Since then, I've been helping my friend with their dog sitting business and decided to venture forth on my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am currently in between positions, so I have complete and open availability to help take care of your pets. If you have a special needs pet, I can work with you to provide more intensive care. I want to learn more about how you treat your pets so I can provide the same loving environment that they are used to. I'd love to be your pet-parent substitute.
“Marsha was an amazing house and pet sitter! Marsha asked great questions and was careful to confirm all details during our meet and greet. She checked in daily and provided great updates and even better pictures (she is a fabulous photographer!). Finally, she went above and beyond to "leave no trace" as the house was in better shape than I left it! When I got back, Chester was fully settled and had obviously not experienced any angst about me leaving. Very dependable I would not hesistate to use Martha again and highly recommend to others!”

About: I have had cats in my family since before I can even remember. My boys are my babies and are both from a local shelter. I enjoy going to the shelters and spoiling the babies in there while they are waiting for their homes.
“Kaylee did drop in visits for my two cats during Thanksgiving week. She was communicative and sent daily updates. She helped my older cat stay on his special diet and mixed his medication mixed into his food. My younger cat accidentally got trapped in the bedroom and Kaylee let me know she hadn't seen him and got permission to go into that room to look for him. I'm so glad she found him! I appreciate Kaylee taking good care of my cats, especially over a holiday.”

About: I have over 3 years of experience caring for cats of all personalities, from playful and social to shy or more independent. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, playtime, and creating a calm environment that helps cats feel safe while you’re away. I understand feline behavior and always respect each cat’s boundaries, whether they want cuddles or just quiet company. I’ve also cared for multi-cat households and know how to keep things clean, consistent, and stress-free. I’m reliable and detail-oriented, and I’ll always send updates and photos so you can feel confident your cat is happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve been around pets my whole life from raising puppies to taking care of senior pets, even taking care of farm animals like horses, ducks, and chickens. Just give me a time and place and I will make an effort to be there for you and your pet/pets. I have a pretty open schedule. I try to be there as much as possible to make your pet/pets more comfortable, I also try to sick to whatever kind of schedule they are on with things like feeding, walking etc.

About: *MUST MEET ME AND MY LAB IN PUBLIC PRIOR TO BOOKING*. Although my lab, Hela loves everyone, unfortunately not every dog loves her so please set a meeting prior to booking! I'm flexible with times and locations! I offer attention to detail and love for pups. I'm the pup mom that knows all my dogs allergies and favorite foods! I've had dogs my entire life and even as a kid began training them! My friends always choose me when they are going out of town to watch their pups. I actually decided to join Rover after one of the pups I watch dads suggested I should! I work from home with my black lab who loves everyone and is a gentle soul (her 2 besties are a min pin and a golden retriever) and currently she is the only animal in my house. We take hourly stretch breaks to pee and play a little ball! I have a fenced yard with grass. If you'd like, I'll send cute pictures throughout the day too! Also if allowed, the pups go with me to get weekly pups cups from Starbs. I work from home and have a black lab, so all day everyday I do pet care. My job fortunately makes it easy to interact with thr pups and make sure their needs are taken care of. Prior to recently (they moved), I was watching a golden retriever (Duke) along with my lab every week day and his dad is who suggested I start rover as he would often say "I know my buddy is safe and happy here, he has the best of time". Currently, when we have a guest I make sure there food is prepared and on time. We take hourly potty and play breaks (more if requested - I have a buzzer my dog presses). The rest of the day the pups are free to roam the house with me. I have dog beds (including some in my office), thousands of toys (my dog unfortunately does not destroy anything lol), and when we have an overnight guest, the pups sleep in the bed with me (unless otherwise requested). I love pups and have always wanted more but babysitting is a happy medium!
“This was Bear’s first daycare visit with Lori and he seemed to have a grand time. He was tired when he got home which is good (meaning he got some much needed playtime!). We are thankful we have found Lori and will bring him back for sure!”

About: Hi there, we're Alex and Dasher — your dog's second family! 🐾🎾 Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have Dasher, and raised him from a clumsy, curious little puppy into the happy, well-mannered goofball he is today. Along the way we've done it all together: crate training, obedience work, and of course tons of playtime, belly rubs, and zoomies in the backyard! Because I work from home, I get to spend my days with a dog by my side, which means I understand the importance on companionship, routine, and a calm, loving environment. Your pup won't just be "watched" while you're away — they'll be genuinely cared for, cuddled, played with, and given all the attention they deserve. Dasher especially loves making new friends, and he's always excited to welcome another dog into our home. Together, we'd be thrilled to open our door (and our hearts!) to your furry family member. So if you're looking for a place where your dog will be treated like part of the family, we'd love to meet you both. Come say hi, we can't wait! I am typically out at the gym from 5:30–7:30 in the morning M-F. Your pup would have some independent time, and even then it's a short window before I'm back and fully available for walks, feeding, and playtime for the rest of the day. Because I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'll able to check in, play, and take breaks with your dog throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long stretches. Your dog's safety and comfort always come first. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, so there's plenty of room for your pup to run, sniff, and play freely without any worry. And our very friendly golden retriever, Dasher, would love nothing more than to become your dog's new BFF. We also take safety seriously behind the scenes. Dasher is crated at night and any time I need to step away, so he always has a safe, cozy space of his own. This would be the same for any pup in my care. While dogs are out and about with us, I'll keep a close eye on them to make sure they're staying out of trouble and not getting into anything they shouldn't. I'm also comfortable handling medications, following specific feeding schedules, and accommodating any special routines your dog is used to at home — just let me know what they need. I know leaving your dog with someone new can feel like a big step, so building trust matters to me just as much as it does to you. I'm always happy to set up a meet-and-greet beforehand, answer any questions, and send updates while you're away to give you peace of mind.
About: What sets me apart is the calm, consistent care I provide. I’m retired, home most of the day, and treat every dog like family—prioritizing safety, routines, and genuine affection so pets feel truly at ease. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Being retired means I’m home most of the day, allowing plenty of time for walks, play, meals, cuddles, and attentive, unrushed care. 🐶🐾 Safety and trust guide every visit, at home or drop-ins. I follow routines, secure doors and leashes, supervise closely, and keep environments calm, clean, and stress-free—so pets feel safe and loved. 🐾
About: I have had dogs in my home for the majority of my life and loved every minute of it. After recently losing our girl to old age I’ve been missing time with fur babies. They really are the best! I’ve joined Rover to love on other fur babies and get some steps in all at the same time! I currently work as a medical device rep so my schedule is extremely variable and based on if I have cases scheduled or not. I have found myself working much less than I’m used to and because of that I’m looking to pick up a new hobby/side hustle as I enjoy keeping myself busy. I would prefer to meet any fur babies for the first time with the owner present. This is very important to me. I want to feel comfortable with your dog and build some trust. My biggest priority is to keep myself and your dog safe.
About: Hello, Thanks for checking my profile. To start, I'm always willing to review a request even if it's outside of my profile per se. So if you think that it's just slightly outside my parameters, please feel free to just send me a message, glad to chat at the very least. I am no longer accepting large breed dogs, with the exception of previous clients. If you think your dog is just on the cusp of a large breed, please let me know and we might be able to work something out. I am not boarding cats at this time, as I could not be sure I could isolate them from my other pets well enough if I had to. I’m the proud owner of two wonderful dogs: Indy, a 6-year-old Papillon, and Loki, a 3-year-old Corgi. Indy is a calm, observant pup, while Loki is playful and inquisitive, always eager for attention. I raised both dogs from six weeks of age and work from home full-time, so I’m always present to give pets the attention they deserve. Before Indy and Loki, I cared for two cats who each lived to 18 years old, providing them with a happy, well-loved life. During that time, I became experienced with administering insulin shots, pills, capsules, and liquid medications, and I’m attentive to the subtle behaviors and patterns that signal a pet’s needs. My home features multiple pet gates for safe separation when needed, a second floor for flexible space, and a large, fully fenced backyard with lush grass. I live in a quiet, flat, dog walk friendly neighborhood . While I’m not currently sitting cats, I’m happy to provide dogs with consistent care, attention, food, and any required medication. Because I work from home, I can accommodate nearly any reasonable request. I am able to take frequent breaks and often spend that time playing with my two dogs or taking them on walks. They are let out at regular intervals and fed twice a day. I can keep your pet within my view at all times while I’m home and can accommodate a crate if you prefer. During the day, my dogs usually rest at my feet or on a nearby bed until our first walk. Your pet is welcome to stay with me or lounge wherever they’re comfortable on the first floor of my home. If needed, I can separate pets by floor or with pet gates to avoid direct interactions.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our dog, Chip. Mariah was more than accommodating and made sure to send us updated pictures of Chip playing outside. We will definitely be using her again for future trips.”

Our pets are our family too and need that extra love when we can't be there with them. I have 2 dogs (both female) and 3 cats of my own. Currently I am home all day so your pets would be my priority. My animals get along with others and they are all fixed. If you need me to stay in your home, I also have roommates that can make sure they are fed, so no need to worry that I would need to suddenly leave your pets. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, my mother and I had ran a rescue up until four years ago and even then we still took in animals to help Fuzzball animal rescue, I love taking care of animals and have my entire life from rescues to my own animals! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups, and kitties. I enter college in the fall and know my schedule will still allow for me to take care of animals so if you are looking for maybe even a permanent dog walker, pet sitter or anything I am available! My house has always had animals, from cats, ferrets, Guinea pigs, turtles, chickens, cows, dogs, chinchillas, and at once our most amount of rescues we had was 104 Guinea pigs, and getting them adopted was my favorite part, to see them all go to loving homes.

Through the program, I learned proper animal handling, health and safety practices, basic animal care, and the importance of recognizing signs of stress or illness in different species. I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I also keep the home clean, ensure pets always have fresh water, and provide updates with photos and messages so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for while they're away.

About: I work as a veterinary assistant at an urgent care facility in town. I’ve worked in urgent care going on 4 years and general practice for 2 years. I occasionally cat sit and dog sit. I work 3 12s but I am able to stop in the check on the fur babies on my lunches. I also am very flexible with times I need to go take care of them on my days off as well. I have two kitties of my own. I don’t plan on being able to board pets at my own home due to me renting a house without a fenced backyard.
About: I have several years of sitting and walking experience. I enjoy being physically active, handle large dogs well and try to make it an enjoyable experience for the pets. I am working from home at the moment. My schedule is flexible for scheduling. I will typically walk 4-5 dogs per day and board up to 4 per night. Fenced backyard, the house has plenty of space inside for running and playing when weather is bad. Dogs I own are very kind and playful. My home allows me to keep the Pets separate if needed.

“Ally is absolutely amazing! I had to take my dog to the emergency vet the week before I dropped him off for boarding and Ally was fantastic managing his needs from giving pills and monitoring wounds to keeping me updated.”

“My dogs just had their second stay with Larissa and Valerie. It was great! My dogs were excited when we pulled up to the farm. They were happy to see everyone, and even when I picked them up two days later, they wanted to keep playing and exploring. My dogs were very well cared for and I've already scheduled their next couple of stays. I feel very lucky to have found Larissa and Valerie!”

“Jennifer took really good care of my dog and I would highly recommend her. The daily e-mails and photos were very much appreciated. Pickles came home happy and completely relaxed. A+++++”

“Mariah's home was a great place for my pups. Mariah was attentive to the dogs and communicative with me throughout the stay. I'll certainly reach out when I'm in need again!”

“Alicia was able to care for my dog with one day notice. I appreciate her prompt response and communication. My dog seemed comfortable at her house, we got updates and pictures. Overall we are satisfied with her service.”

“We left our senior pup with Matt for almost a week and felt so at ease! He asked lots of questions to make sure he could keep her routine as normal as possible and our girl looked like she had a great time. It was nice having peace of mind while being away - would definitely use again!”

“Sidney was great with our puppy. She was responsive, friendly and warm. She communicated well and kept sending us pictures through the stay. She even took him on walks and followed all the guidelines/schedule perfectly. Would definitely 10/10 recommend her.”

“Paulina was great! She communicated quickly and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. We received lots of Havi updates with photos and videos. Additional information we shared was received positively. When it was time to pick Havi up Paulina had everything ready to go and helped load the car. Havi came home happy and in good spirits. Great service!”

“Dakota was great! She took really good care of my dog, and sent wonderful pictures and videos of my dog while we were away. My dog really enjoyed his stay with her. I would totally recommend her!”
“Mayra took good care of my pups. One is a bit anxious and she kept me updated with texts on how they were doing. The attention they got was way more than they would have gotten in a kennel. I would definitely use Mayra again.”

“Michelle was very responsive and took great care of our pup. She was responsible for giving meds and did a great job at doing so. Her home is very nice and I will definitely let my pup stay here again.”
