About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

I was leaving Moon for longest stretch ever and Samatha was so patient and understanding of my constant text messages both before and during the 4 days she cat-sat. Hedda is often shy and hides from cat sitters, but she was ready to greet Samantha each time she came. Samantha was so conscientious with our cats. She stayed much longer than expected to play with Moon, made good decisions when she couldn't reach me one time, and managed to keep him from getting outside (not easy!). About: My first love was a German Shepherd at age 3, a gift from my grandfather. Since then I have taken care of many dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other small fur friends all my life. I am a Forever Foster Mom for small dogs above age 8 for Old Dog Haven and right now take care of one small 15 year old fur friend named Tinker. I also have a 9 year old rescue Golden-doodle named Ava. I love taking care of small Dogs and Kitties (in your own home) so much I do not consider it work! About: My 18 year old Cairn Terrier has just left for doggie heaven. My home is lonely without him. He was my fourth dog, so I have a lot of experience caring for a furry friend. My rate is low because having to find care for my dog was a major issue when I traveled. It is worth mentioning that I will watch only ONE dog at a time. It must also be a SMALL dog based on the Rover size chart. I am retired, but love to travel. I think it would be unfair to adopt another dog while I am still intending to spend time away from home. It has been a long time since I have been without a dog in my life. I thought taking care of yours would be a good way to have a furry companion when I am home. This is another reason for my low rate. I have a big fenced yard and a lot of left over stuff from my dog to provide a warm welcoming environment for my client's pet.

About: I love being around dogs. I’ve had them my whole life, and for the last 14 years I’ve raised my own—from puppy days all the way to senior care. My current dog is a total ball of energy, so I trained him to run with me while I bike, which has made me super patient and good with active pups. Dogs staying with me get a big yard to roam and a trail close by for walks or runs. I’m comfortable adjusting to whatever a dog needs—lots of activity, slow strolls, or just some company. I work remotely so I'm able to do boarding anytime. I do occasional walks around the neighborhood. We have a park right behind our home with a great trail to walk. About: I love pets in general, especially dogs of all shapes and sizes. Although my home is their haven, we rarely spend time indoors when it's not raining outside. I've raised multiple Doberman Pinschers over the years starting at the tender age of 7 weeks and currently have one of my own, so I'm used to stubborn, energetic and messy dogs. I also provide supplemental training using positive reinforcement if a dog is still very young or experiencing behavioral issues that need to be corrected. I believe in treats/rewarding good behavior over correcting bad behavior. I'm firm when I need to be, but I'm never harsh. Lastly, I'm very sensitive to a dog's body language and verbal queues. About: I have owned or cared for dogs my entire life, with the occasional rodent or scaled creature thrown in. Hopefully not at the same time. I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. Work situation changed so I’m more open to daytime walks and drop ins. I also keep a weird sleep schedule so if you need a late night drop in or walk, hit me up. Update: I did recently get a dog. He’s a young doodle and prefers to chew on my hair and hands more than toys, but gets along well with other dogs. He sure everyone wants to be his friend. He is young, potty trained and a great playmate. So right now the only way I’m able to sit is if your dog would like new bestie. I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.

About: I grew up caring for small dogs, large dogs, chickens, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs… we lived on 4 acres, surrounded by other family members in the neighborhood, and I love all of the animals! I'll take 'em cute, crotchety, pudgy, feathered, or furred. :) I have regularly cared for pets of family, friends and business connections, in their home, or mine. I've seen my own pets through old age, and the related medical needs that come with that, so administering medications (oral, subdermal, dermal) doesn't phase me. Note that extensive medication schedules may result in added costs. I work hybrid, primarily, so there's ample flexibility in my schedule to match up with your needs. Since 2023, I work 4-6 hours/day, with a local company (I get to choose my shifts). I'm happy to care for multiple pets, in your home (or yard... need help with goats or chickens? Yay! I'm your gal.). Please expect a potty schedule of every 4-6 hours. I'm tidy, bring most of my own groceries (I appreciate it if you provide coffee, tea, cream, sugar, salt, pepper and cooking oil), and I love to bring healthy (approved) treats, and toys, for your pets. My Place: I live alone, in a 1 bedroom place, that I own. I have a few construction projects going, so it's not currently available for boarding, but I hope to have that service in the future. At my place, there's ample room for a small dog, cat, bunny or bird. A dog will be walked 3-5 times/day, depending on their needs. About: I grew up around dogs, from the moment I was born till now. Small to the largest they come, I am comfortable handling and caring for them all! I worked in animal husbandry at a major zoo and aquarium, so I am quite in tune to animal welfare needs! I have raised and cared for feral cats even too. I have worked in animal husbandry professionally for many years at a zoo and aquarium. I grew up with many dogs and several rodents even too so I am quite comfortable with all sorts of behaviors and demeanors! I am active and ready to engage with the animals in my care, with a variety of stimulus from play to exercise! Whether it’s just a quick check in, feeding, play time, or overnight stays, I am ready to provide the best care for your pet at a moments notice! I am extremely flexible with schedules and not worried at all about spending more time if needed attending to their behaviors and giving them attention. Jeremy went above and beyond by giving extra care to one of our pups when she got an upset stomach due to anxiety and stress being away from home. He notified us right away and helped treat her by doing bland diet. He also gave them both a bath. Our pups looked so happy on the daily videos and pictures.
