About: I have been taking care of dogs almost every week on the weekends along with sitting for my neighborhood dogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs while they are on vacation or away from their home. I am comfortable feeding dogs, interacting with them and I love to give lots of love. I am familiar with giving medication’s to dogs if needed. Your animal will be in good hands as I will love them as my own. Whatever an owner needs for them and their dogs to be well cared for, I can accommodate. I work from home, so the dog will always be accompanied with me. we’ll have plenty of playtime, outside time and potty breaks. I provide at least 2 walks a day and several Potty breaks from 7 am up until 10 Pm. I have a fenced yard where they can play as they like and they can hang out inside as well. And usually keep them contained when loading anything in or out to avoid any running away/chasing them around kind of drama. Anything you recommended to me or want me to do I will make sure happens to ensure your pets & home are safe. For boarding I have a very large fenced back yard with a locked gate which is the only access outside. There's also neighborhoods around with side walks for walks. I do have a hotel styled lock at the top of my front door that makes it impossible for the kids to accidentally open it and let any animals out. I also usually for boarding attach an air tag to the animal while they are at my house for extra precaution. No such thing as too safe!

Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. I work “full time” but I work around 30 hours and I have a lot of split shifts so time before or after to check-in with the pets. This looks like morning feed, going outside, if any meds or vitamins need to be taken or same with after depending on the time of day needed. Depending on circumstances of boundaries and rules of each pet, I easily find a solution and adapt if needed. I will watch your dog/cat outside or on a leash front or back of yard. If there are off-limit areas inside our outside those will be closed doors or if there’s a gate it will be put up per clients request. I currently do not have room to have your pet stay in my home, however I am more than happy to come to you whether that is for a walk/playtime and mealtime or for an overnight stay! I am more than happy to bring anything with me extra you might need or not have.
About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk
About: I grew up in a large family with many pets. We had five dogs and two cats growing up, and I have had my own pets since. I’ve had multiple dogs and cats over the years, though I just moved back to Washington, so I have no pets at the moment. I currently have open availability and am able to provide visits or stay over at clients homes to care for pets. I’m able to arrange arrival and departure to fit your schedule. I am able to fit whatever needs the client has. If your pets are accustomed to being out and about in the home, I can spend time with them that way. I also am able to use kennels for feeding or sleeping if that’s what they are used to. I’m comfortable keeping things tidy and making sure it’s a safe and clean space for them to hang out.
About: Have had animals most of my life. Love to spend time with them and give them love they need. Enjoy the love they give also. I work Monday through Friday day time. Home on nights and weekends. Have a back yard to share with them. Giving time and attention also. I have a fenced yard, caring for the pet is how the owners want them to be taken care of. Treat them like your own.

“Mariko watched our 2 year old puppy for a weekend and was very communicative and attentive. She explained upfront her plan for Goldie and we got to meet Mariko and her dog beforehand so Goldie wasn’t as nervous. Still since it was Goldie’s first time with a sitter she was nervous about eating — mariko hand-fed her at one point to make sure she ate. Mariko is a very nice person who was very caring toward our beloved pup. We already plan to use Mariko again and highly recommend her.”

“I couldn’t possibly speak more highly of my experience with Darby and all of the effort, extra care, patience, and attention she put into caring for my brand new 1.5 year old husky rescue dog. Not only did she help me urgently but she took the time to ask me appropriate questions and listen to anything I felt was important regarding the dogs behavioral needs and flaws. From being a picky eater, mostly untrained, hyper, suffering from separation anxiety, and needing guidance to play with other dogs Darby was prepared, knowledgeable, and kind handling it all. We will be seeking out Darby’s services again in the near future for my two adult GSD mixes because I have full confidence and trust in her abilities.
