She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I could see she washed utensils and bowls I left out plus took litter and uneaten wet food to the garbage can outside. She also went above and beyond when she discovered a leak in my roof, She cleaned it up and put a large container under it, saving my floor and my cat's living space. About: I have a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs, having grown up surrounded by them. In addition to raising family pets, I've cherished my Australian shepherd, Olly, for 7 years, and when I met my now husband he brought a wonderful border Collie mix, 3 years ago, but has owned him for 8 years. We've filled their lives with love through daily walks, outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, and endless exploration. Olly I trained from a puppy and Hank was adopted at 3 and at 11 now he is still learning new tricks! Throughout caring for Olly and Hank, I've also opened our home to friends' pets, treating them with the same affection and care. I'm excited to extend this love and commitment to your dogs, whether through dog walking, drop-ins, or boarding! I work in the office two days a week, but otherwise I work from home! About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. About: I grew up with showing and breeding Golden Retrievers, giving me hands-on experience since age 12. I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life- walking, bathing, and grooming. I promise to provide attentive care to each pet’s comfort and routine. I currently work full-time as a supervisor at Starbucks. I either work 3:30-11:30am or 6:00-2:00pm. I have two days of a week, usually one weekend day :) Pets in my own home have their own barn with inside/outside access during the day, but are crated at night.
