I was on Rover for a little bit back in the summer months of 2019 and 2020-2021 then life got a little busy so I took a break. Both my kids grew up around our German Shepherd who passed in early 2024. We love to be outside and take our daily walks or bike rides when it’s not too hot out! About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats ever since I was very little and I have always loved taking care of them. I live at home with my parents and I have lots of experience watching our two dogs and cat for weeks at a time while they are traveling. (Note: neither my parents, or pets will be anywhere near your pets, as they are going to be in a separate part of the house. The house also has a huge backyard, sitting on over an acre with tall fences. I also keep plenty of toys on hand so you can be sure your pets are getting the love and care they deserve. I currently work from home and have a very flexible. schedule all throughout the weekdays and weekends so your pets will be cared for during their entire stay. I also do not leave our own pets unattended for more than a couple hours so the same can be expected for yours as well. Pets can expect over an acre of enclosed backyard, so plenty of room to run around and play as needed. Bathroom breaks will be given at least once every 1.5 hours - 2 hours and will be supervised the entire time as is standard with our own pups. We also have a cat and two small dogs in the house, but they will be upstairs and away from your pets during the visit.

I currently work twice a week 10 hours day, the best days for me to help out would be Wednesday-Sunday. I sometimes work shorter days on Saturdays and could stop by after to feed/walk/exercise your pet. I love getting outside and love having doggy company to join me! I'm willing to stop by twice a day to feed/clean for kitties. And I can always hang out with your dog (or dogs) for the day if you just need someone to keep them company while you are busy! I practice "fear free handling" meaning I always take the gentlest approach to any situation. An example would be if your pet needs to be crated but doesn't enjoy it, I use treats and always leave enough time to slowly work them into it. If I am ever leaving the house for an hour or two I make sure your pets are set up! Freshly pottied, not hungry/thirsty, access to toys and treats (if allowed) and with jazz music for them! I know every pet is different and has their own special quirks and I am more than willing to accomodate for them. I am very careful and responsible with other peoples pets and property.

About: My family has had dogs my whole life, and I personally have owned a dog since the age of 8. I have also happily taken care of friends animals since the age of 10, and dog sat for for others since the age of 15. I’m currently a full time student who is working part time, so late afternoon and evenings are the best time for me to give attention to the dogs:) I am happy to provide some extra love and attention to animals based on their needs. About: I had such a great experience with rover when I was on vacation I decided to sign up! I have always had a pet in my home and I know how important it is to have a responsible pet sitter to care for them. I can house sit, watch pets in my home, do drop in visits you name it. About: Hi my name is Sheldan! I’m a mom to 2 boys (5yr old & 3yr old) who have a lot of energy! I’m a stay at home mom so we are home all day every day. I’ve always grown up with animals, dogs, cats, chickens, and even a hedgehog. I’m a huge animal lover, if I could rescue every animal in the shelter, trust me I would! I was on Rover for a little bit back in the summer months of 2019 and 2020-2021 then life got a little busy so I took a break. Both my kids grew up around our German Shepherd who passed in early 2024. We love to be outside and take our daily walks or bike rides when it’s not too hot out! I’m energetic, have a bubbly and fun personality and super easy going, hopefully you’ll get to see that! I’m a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open and flexible! During the summer months we are very flexible and available. My home is currently baby proofed so we don’t have anything lying around that could be harmful to your pet. We do not have a fenced in yard.
