And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

About: Retired Chiropractor and wife who have been owned by pets all our lives. Currently have a senior labrador, juvenile labrador and orange tabby cat (raised with dogs). Wife and I are both retired. We are home most of the time, available to our fur-babies. Yard is 4' tall fenced hillside property: plenty of room to romp and lots of stuff to sniff. While living in Maui, we trained service dogs for the handicapped. First, of course, we have to introduce your "kid" to ours, letting everyone get aquainted and comfortable. One of our dogs is night-crate trained, the other, older dog, is very sedate, yet still quite alert. The cat was raised with dogs, plays with them and will quickly establish who is "boss". Since my wife and I are both retired from professions we performed for decades, our time is completely our own. We have no committments that require us to be gone from home, other than for shopping or normal personal needs. Our back yard is fenced and leading to that, we have 1200 sq feet of decking that permits dogs to play on level space or to lay in the sun. Both of us being retired, we have very flexible schedules, which allows us the time to spend attending to and focusing on dogs in our care. Our yard is fully fenced and combines grassy and bark-topped soil as well as treed hillside terrain for our dog to introduce the environment to.

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. I have taken care of all types of animals. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me to take care of their animals, starting at a young age. I have taken in strays, rescued several dogs from shelters. I also volunteered for an animal rescue for several years and have fostered animals from time to time. I am the person who finds the pets at an event and stays with them the whole time. I have experience with dogs, cats including puppies and kittens, seniors, and animals with medical needs. I currently work only about 5-8 hours a week and have plenty of time to cuddle and walk your pets. Spending time with animals is my favorite thing to do. I will walk your dog twice a day, and can also take your pets on drives (with my pet seatbelt and/or car seat) if that's something you would like. Daily belly rubs are always included :) I have a fenced back yard. Pets are welcome to all areas of my home and always allowed on the couches and bed. I also have a comfortable dog car seat for dogs under 50 lbs as well as a collar/harness seatbelt restraint for larger dogs. I will take up to 3 dogs at a time, if your dog loves to be social (My home is two-story, with multiple dog gates should your dog need a break also). About: Animals have always been a part of my life, they are my therapy. I started fostering dogs in middle school and now have two loving dogs of my own. I am great for long walks, cuddling and calming your furbabies and providing lots of tail wags . I am self-educated in first aid, medication administration and senior dogs & cats. I have enjoyed pet-sitting throughout my years and love to spoil. I am currently a homemaker with an open schedule which makes it perfect to hop on over to care for your furbabies and fill in last minute. Your pups will have my full attention and care. I live at home with my parents and I have lots of experience watching our two dogs and cat for weeks at a time while they are traveling. (Note: neither my parents, or pets will be anywhere near your pets, as they are going to be in a separate part of the house. The house also has a huge backyard, sitting on over an acre with tall fences. I also keep plenty of toys on hand so you can be sure your pets are getting the love and care they deserve. I also do not leave our own pets unattended for more than a couple hours so the same can be expected for yours as well. Pets can expect over an acre of enclosed backyard, so plenty of room to run around and play as needed. Bathroom breaks will be given at least once every 1.5 hours - 2 hours and will be supervised the entire time as is standard with our own pups. We also have a cat and two small dogs in the house, but they will be upstairs and away from your pets during the visit.

I'm a vet assistant with hands-on experience in small animals, but have experience with farm animals to! I currently work twice a week 10 hours day, the best days for me to help out would be Wednesday-Sunday. I practice "fear free handling" meaning I always take the gentlest approach to any situation. An example would be if your pet needs to be crated but doesn't enjoy it, I use treats and always leave enough time to slowly work them into it. If I am ever leaving the house for an hour or two I make sure your pets are set up! Freshly pottied, not hungry/thirsty, access to toys and treats (if allowed) and with jazz music for them! I know every pet is different and has their own special quirks and I am more than willing to accomodate for them. I am very careful and responsible with other peoples pets and property.

I’ve always grown up with animals, dogs, cats, chickens, and even a hedgehog. I’m a huge animal lover, if I could rescue every animal in the shelter, trust me I would! I was on Rover for a little bit back in the summer months of 2019 and 2020-2021 then life got a little busy so I took a break. Both my kids grew up around our German Shepherd who passed in early 2024. We love to be outside and take our daily walks or bike rides when it’s not too hot out! I’m energetic, have a bubbly and fun personality and super easy going, hopefully you’ll get to see that! I’m a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open and flexible! During the summer months we are very flexible and available. My home is currently baby proofed so we don’t have anything lying around that could be harmful to your pet. We do not have a fenced in yard.

And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

About: All my life I have had pets, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even a ferret named Simba. I have had two dogs from puppy to seniors and reaching the rainbow bridge. I have two labs now and some farm animals. My husband and I have raised two boys and he is retired and we are just wanting to do something on the side we love to stay busy. I work from home or anywhere so I can stay with your pets in the safety of their own home or they are welcome to stay with us on the farm as long as they get along with other dogs. I cannot board cats however due to my dogs lack of exposure. In your home I would keep them close to their usual routine and make sure all their needs are met and patiently comfort their anxiety over missing you. In my home we have over an acre of fenced area perfect for dogs to run and play. I again would accommodate their schedules and give lots of love and attention. We have baby gates that keep pets with us in living area. If they are used to sleeping with humans I am totally okay with that, whatever they prefer.
