About: I’ve owned pets of my own my whole life, and I’ve always held a special place in my heart for them. I feel as though we should all be taking care of our pets like we would our children because they deserve it! Recently I’ve volunteered at a cat cafe that transports stray from California in order to rehabilitate and adopt them out to loving and qualified families. I currently own 2 cats and a dog. My two cats are both 2 years old, named Khoi and Toshi, and they are both so cute! They have big personalities but they mostly sleep all the time. My dog’s name is Kailani, and I’ve had her since my childhood. She’s 10 years old and still very energetic and downright adorable. I try to give all my pets the best with what I’ve got because they deserve the best. I feel this way with my own pets, but I would give the same to any animal I see. I feel that they deserve the best because they are the best! I’m currently working part time, but I’m leaving my job soon. I will be available almost any time that is needed to take care of your pets. I would really like to dedicate myself to this work because I feel like when I’m working with animals they should get my full attention, so I’m fully open to anytime that I’m needed. Since I can’t offer boarding in my own home, depending on what service is needed of me I will take care of your best with everything you allow me to have at my disposal. I know some living situations will not be the same, nor will the resources available be the same, but whatever is at my disposal to take care of your pets I will do the best job possible. With my own pets I feed them on a schedule, play with them regularly and take my dog on walks/let her out in the backyard often. About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. About: I've had experience taking care of both dogs and cats. My friends and family have often trusted me with taking care of their pets, which included feeding and walking them. With my former dog, I did basic training in commands (i.e. sit, stay, come) and know how to be firm when necessary. As a recent cat owner, I've learned the reins on taking care of a cat and how to live with one as well. Currently I'm freelancing, so I'm pretty flexible on availability with enough notice! Walking and playing with your pets is a fun activity I'm always down for. I can take care of cats and small dogs within my living space. We checked out a couple of boarding places and considered everyone we could think of but my search ended the moment I met with Nayumi. I knew my dog would be fine with her. “My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”
