She has always slept on our bed with us. Charis understood & did not have any problem allowing our pup to sleep on their bed with them. And, dog loves playing with other dogs. So, the fact that Charis had French & English Bulldogs that were of similar size & temperament made her place the obvious choice. Not to mention the kind & caring atmosphere at her home. It was very obvious that our pup had a great time because she came home exhausted & happy. And, was very relaxed & at peace the next day. We also really appreciated receiving daily updates & photos via text. It really helped to set our minds at ease. We definitely intend to use Charis again. “Its always hard to leave pets behind but no longer will I worry. I'll miss them knowing they will be safe now, if Horatio (cat) and Walter (bunny) have Tammie to pet sit. I was very comfortable meeting Tammie before my trip. I found her very professional with dedicated work ethic. Most important? My cat and bunn welcomed Tammie, also. Walter usually hides from EVERYONE, but not from Tammie. The pictures and updates were a big bonus. I mainly wanted water and food checks? I got narrative and pictures! About: Ever since I can remember I have adored animals. I have always been the person who would go over to a friend's house and end up sitting by their pet the whole time! When I became old enough, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter and pet sitting as much as I could. At the shelter, I walked dogs, spent time playing with cats and kittens, and helped clean kennels and cages. I have also worked at a doggy daycare where I was around both large and small dog breeds. I had a senior dog of nearly 16 years who just passed away due to cancer so I have experience caring for senior dogs all the way to their end of life. I have experience in leash training, potty training and kennel training, as well as basic commands (I.E sit, stay, speak, lay down, roll over etc). I am a full time sitter and I am always home, so your pets will never be alone or in a kennel. I have an open schedule on the weekdays, weekends and I am even available on holidays! I stay home with my two children so I will be home pretty much all day/night to take care of your fur babies! If I ever have to step out it’s not for long and I always come right back. I follow instructions to a T! If you have any specific instructions please provide them via message or written down. I try to make the experience here for the animal the exact same as it would be at home, so staying on their schedule is key! I am willing to accommodate any requests you may have (crating them, brushing them, bathing them etc). About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was 2 years old. My dog was my best friend from 2-16 yrs. I was raised on a mini farm and was lucky enough to care for horses, cows, pigs, chickens, several dogs, many cats and recently goats. Nothing brings me more happiness than being around our furry friends. Currently, we have 3 miniature poodle mixes, which we love beyond words. We recently adopted a St. Bernard/Pitbull mix. About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk

They managed integrating Onyx with their dog very well and didn't rush anything allowing them to establish a good relationship.
