“Jenny took care of our neighbor's dog Willow for us when we were taking care of it and had to leave unexpectedly for 3 days, the boarding experience went very well and she was very thoughtful and asked good questions prior to the boarding. Willow had a great time playing with her dog and when I came to pick her up Jenny had Willow's crate all packed up with her things and ready for me, which I really appreciated. Willow is a dog who can be anxious at times but it was obvious that she felt very comfortable with Jenny. We are pretty picky about who watches our pooches and are glad to have found someone in Gold Bar who we feel good about recommending or using for our own dogs.”

She checked on all three of our cats, checked to make sure they were eating and drinking, as well as checked the litter box to make sure they were going to the restroom and they were healthy. I had some mildly complicated feeding instructions and they were no problem for her. About: I have experience with my current dog after going through several months of behavioral training as a puppy. I also have experience with senior dogs and cats growing up at my parents home. I also know how to administer medicine both orally and through ear medicine for cats. During the week, early mornings, late afternoons and evenings are best. On the weekends, late afternoons and evenings are best. With enough time, I can accommodate noon appointments. Feeding, outside time, cleaning litter box, and playing/exercise time will all be standard, but it depends on the needs of the cat. I can also administer medicine as well. If boarding at my own home, dogs will have a fenced yard for exercise.

I would always take care of the neighbors' animals when they went out of town growing up, and have pet sat for many family members and friends. I even have some experience with goats and chickens :) I currently have a pug named Ricki, but live on a family compound with a great Swiss mountain dog, a pomeranian, and my mom's two frenchies visit often. Both of my senior pups passed during Covid after living long, healthy lives and while I'm not ready for another pet quite yet - I am really missing having an animal friend. I've had multiple years of working at a dog daycare facility, as well as worked at a Petsmart in their boarding/daycamp. At this point I've taken care of hundreds of dogs! I have 3 dogs currently myself. An Australian Shepard, and Aussie/Border collie mix, and another lab/German shepard mix. I'm used to the high energy dogs for sure! I absolutely adore how every dog has a different personality. It's what makes them so special! I am currently looking for work after moving back in the area, so I have plenty of availability and give lots of time and focus to your pet! I pay close attention to dogs body language, and can recognize when they're scared/happy/angry. I've even had to save a dog from choking on a ball once! Of course I give all dogs the same love and attention as if they're my own. They deserve it!
About: I grew up with four dogs and two cats, I even have miniature donkeys! So I am no stranger to taking care of animals. I have helped out a lot around my own house and for others through Rover for a couple years now. I am a student at Cal Poly Slo and while i am home for the summer I would love to work around my part time work schedule to accommodate you and your pets needs!! Willow had a great time playing with her dog and when I came to pick her up Jenny had Willow's crate all packed up with her things and ready for me, which I really appreciated. Willow is a dog who can be anxious at times but it was obvious that she felt very comfortable with Jenny. We are pretty picky about who watches our pooches and are glad to have found someone in Gold Bar who we feel good about recommending or using for our own dogs.”

Rosalie stayed 3 nights and was very well taken care of. When we picked her up she was calm, happy, and tired. Somer seems very knowledgeable about dog care and behavior and she even picked up on a medical issue Rosalie has and kept her cool and comfortable through a hot few days.
