Willow had a great time playing with her dog and when I came to pick her up Jenny had Willow's crate all packed up with her things and ready for me, which I really appreciated. Willow is a dog who can be anxious at times but it was obvious that she felt very comfortable with Jenny. We are pretty picky about who watches our pooches and are glad to have found someone in Gold Bar who we feel good about recommending or using for our own dogs.”

About: I have experience with my current dog after going through several months of behavioral training as a puppy. I also have experience with senior dogs and cats growing up at my parents home. I also know how to administer medicine both orally and through ear medicine for cats. During the week, early mornings, late afternoons and evenings are best. On the weekends, late afternoons and evenings are best. With enough time, I can accommodate noon appointments. Feeding, outside time, cleaning litter box, and playing/exercise time will all be standard, but it depends on the needs of the cat. I can also administer medicine as well. We have two lab mixes an a jackrussel mix in our home with us whom we love deeply. We also have experience with Giant breeds an petite alike so please bring your "horses" an lil "bed bugs" to play or cuddle we don't discriminate. About: I grew up with animals - like quite a few! I've had cats since I was born, dogs since I was 8, a horse, a ferret, a bird, some fish...I've just always loved them! I would always take care of the neighbors' animals when they went out of town growing up, and have pet sat for many family members and friends. I even have some experience with goats and chickens :) I currently have a pug named Ricki, but live on a family compound with a great Swiss mountain dog, a pomeranian, and my mom's two frenchies visit often. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. Willow had a great time playing with her dog and when I came to pick her up Jenny had Willow's crate all packed up with her things and ready for me, which I really appreciated. Willow is a dog who can be anxious at times but it was obvious that she felt very comfortable with Jenny. We are pretty picky about who watches our pooches and are glad to have found someone in Gold Bar who we feel good about recommending or using for our own dogs.”

“We were very happy with Helen and the care she provided our 2 dogs while we were out of town for 1 week. We had never left our Dane before and were very nervous about her emotional well being while we were away. Helen immediately put us at ease from our first communication. She has an extensive knowledge of dogs and the multiple medical emergencies they might experience. She kept in touch with us while we were gone and even sent photos of our dogs. Our canine kids were happy and healthy when we returned and I think they might have had more fun at Helen's than they do at our house! We will definitely be return customers!”

“Taylor is great with dogs. My nervous-old-man of a pup received extra comfort while settling in the first night, and after that, he was glued to Taylor the rest of the stay. Barkley had walks and lots of outdoor time, sunbathing. He came home thoroughly wiped out, but looking content. Taylor took me aside to talk about Barkley's arthritis on pickup, which I appreciated. We already have a plan with the vet to tackle it, but to see him care so much about Barkley that he wants to ensure he's living his best life was heartwarming. It seems like Taylor and his house are very dog-first.”

“Somer and Thomas were so great. They helped us out of a jam by accepting a very last-minute boarding reservation for our senior Great Pyrenees. Rosalie stayed 3 nights and was very well taken care of. When we picked her up she was calm, happy, and tired. Somer seems very knowledgeable about dog care and behavior and she even picked up on a medical issue Rosalie has and kept her cool and comfortable through a hot few days. We very much appreciate it and would absolutely recommend Somer and Thomas for boarding.”

“Amanda and Eric were such wonderful, kind sitters. I can't recommend them highly enough! The day before my booking was supposed to start, one of my girls got attacked by another dog and needed stitches on her ear and routine medication. I offered cancellation if they weren't comfortable with that, but Amanda assured me that her training as a nurse meant treating wounds was no problem at all. My girls got lots of walks, lots of love, and proper medical care. Choosing Amanda and Eric was such a blessing!”
