“Lindsey, Leland, and their kids took amazing care of our 13-year-old Golden Retriever, Callie. She had injured her back leg about a month before her stay, and they were incredibly thoughtful in managing her needs. They made sure she got all her medications and adjusted her walks based on what she could handle. I’m pretty sure Callie felt like she was at a spa—between the gentle attention, extra brushing, and love from their three wonderful kids, she was clearly in great hands. I accidentally mixed up the pickup date by a day, but Lindsey and Leland were incredibly accommodating and kept Callie that extra day without hesitation. I was so relieved, knowing she wouldn’t have to be shuffled to a different home just for one night. Throughout her stay, they regularly updated us with photos—Callie lounging in the grass, out on a walk, or happily curled up in someone’s lap. The peace of mind they gave us was priceless. If I could give Lindsey and Leland six stars, or more, I absolutely would. They went above and beyond in every way.”

“In short, Taylor is excellent. My cat “Mouse” has some minor medical issues. He requires meds to be given with food, and has some related issues that need specific responses. I gave the basics of his needs in my profile, and then gave more details verbally to Taylor before she took care of him for a few days. During our conversation before care started, she was taking notes, then went over them with me to ensure her notes were accurate. During her time taking care of Mouse, she provided very detailed notes and pictures from her visits. It was clear that she followed my instructions explicitly. She mentioned some things that happened during her visits due to his medical issues, and noted how she responded. It was very comforting to know that she responded correctly, per my instructions, and kept me up to date on how he was doing. It’s clear that she cares about the animals that she takes care of, and knows how to earn their trust. She didn’t push or force herself on Mouse, she gently let him check her out and accept her presence before proceeding to interact more with him. When she interacted with him, she was very perceptive in learning what he likes and doesn’t like. Mouse clearly enjoyed his time with her. Finally, it’s a little scary letting someone you don’t know in to your life and house to take care of your pet. My daughter couldn’t visit as often as needed, and really wanted me to find other friends who could visit Mouse. That’s easier said than done, especially because I travel a lot. After seeing the visit notes and pictures that Taylor provided, Taylor won my daughter over. She could clearly see how well Taylor was taking care of Mouse, and said Taylor took better care of Mouse than she did. I can’t give higher praise than that. I’m looking forward to future trips with Taylor taking care of Mouse.”

About: I have grown up in a cat family. Within the last year I have gotten two of my own. They are little lights in my life. I try my best to give them a happy life. They have plenty of toys (almost too many like most pet parents do spoiling them), their litter boxes are changed routinely, and I try to feed them with good cat food that doesn't put a hole in my wallet. I have trained them to wear a harness and to come to me when I call their names. I have had medical scares with them and thankfully nothing too serious. I had to give medications to one of them for rat ulcer on his upper lip. I had to give his medication through a syringe in his mouth and feed him a tube while doing so. About: I’ve had dogs around me my whole life; from active labs to precocious cocker spaniels to mutts with needs, I’m happy to provide the care your pets need while you’re away. I’m flexible with all play styles and feeding habits, all while staying firm against begging for food we can’t have and keeping a close eye on problem behaviors such as digging or pillow ripping. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child,love dogs,cats, chickens , cows, horses,you name it! Will definitely give your family member love and care while you are away, whether at my house or yours! Currently not working elsewhere,our little ranch is busy. We have Dogs, Kitty's, chickens and fish in our little water feature,so am available to spend lots of time with your family member! I have a kennel available and my dogs and cats are wonderful! Obviously,we will talk about leash walking as we free range our chickens and would never set someone's family member up for failure by putting any animal around things they are unfamiliar with. I am equipped to deal with situations if any of the animals ever seem uncomfortable! Also have a new smaller fenced area!

He’s 6 years old, about 16 lbs, and is a very friendly little guy who loves being around other dogs. I live in a clean, tidy apartment right off the Centennial Trail, so we love getting outside for walks and fresh air. Whether your dog loves adventures, playtime, or just relaxing and cuddling, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved like they’re part of the family while you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. Your pup will have plenty of company, attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Pita and I already enjoy daily walks on the Centennial Trail, relaxing at home, and getting outside whenever we can, so your dog will be included like part of our normal day. About: I have two dogs of my own, one dog is Bud who is a golden doodle 2 years old and 85 pounds. My other dog is Lola who is a yorkie 14 years old and 15 pounds. I have a lot of experience with all the ages and sizes of dogs as well as senior dogs. I have always grown up with pups in the house. My family has 2 teacup chihuahuas and 2 frenchies. It is safe to say I have a good diversity in all kinds of dogs and how to care for different animals. I have also had a bunny in my past which was a fun time and lots of fish too! I work from home at my own time so I am available and very flexible with different schedules. I am able to work with different schedules and times. I have a safe home and environment and am close to parks for walks. I live with my two pets as well so the living situation is suitable for animals.

“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”

“Lindsey, Leland, and their kids took amazing care of our 13-year-old Golden Retriever, Callie. She had injured her back leg about a month before her stay, and they were incredibly thoughtful in managing her needs. They made sure she got all her medications and adjusted her walks based on what she could handle. I’m pretty sure Callie felt like she was at a spa—between the gentle attention, extra brushing, and love from their three wonderful kids, she was clearly in great hands. I accidentally mixed up the pickup date by a day, but Lindsey and Leland were incredibly accommodating and kept Callie that extra day without hesitation. I was so relieved, knowing she wouldn’t have to be shuffled to a different home just for one night. Throughout her stay, they regularly updated us with photos—Callie lounging in the grass, out on a walk, or happily curled up in someone’s lap. The peace of mind they gave us was priceless. If I could give Lindsey and Leland six stars, or more, I absolutely would. They went above and beyond in every way.”
