“Kelsey and family cared for Lola while we went on a trip. Pictures of Lola made being away from her more bearable. She was so well cared for- we feel like Kelsey would be our #1 choice next time we travel. We recommend Kelsey to anyone who is looking for an excellent home away from home for their dog.”

“I highly recommend Cynthia and plan to book again soon!. Our pup had an excellent experience, especially for her first visit. Cynthia went above and beyond in every category, including communication and care, walking her daily, and even giving her a bath. She came home bright, happy and in beautiful condition with special treats. Cynthia is a warm, caring, and very responsible sitter, noting all details. Her emphasis on safety, and frequent photos were especially appreciated. Our pup was very well looked after in every way, thanks to the kindness of Cynthia!”

“Aarika was very responsive, polite and flexible. I felt that she was easily accessible. My pup was very happy and clearly well taken care of. It was clear to me that she treated him as if he was her own and that’s exactly what I’m looking for in a Dog Sitter . I almost don’t want to leave her a good review because I want to keep her services all to myself! Haha .”

“Very thankful for Kimberly! She sent photos every day and I can tell my girls had a blast. Kimberly was extremely accommodating and took extra steps to make sure I was comfortable (this was my first time boarding). Highly recommend!!”

“Omi was calm and comfortable with Elaine, which was was perfect for our nervous young chihuahua. She specializes in small dogs, so this was a perfect fit. We plan on having Omi stay with her in the future.”

“Kris was so helpful! All questions I asked were answered promptly and clearly, and while Aniol my nearly two year old dog stayed at Kris's family home, he seemed to have a safe and comfortable experience! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“Jennifer is outstanding! Finding her was truly a God send. We recently got a puppy and were worried we wouldn't be able to find a sitter in time before we all returned work. I stumbled across Rover, did a quick search and there she was. Communicating with her was simple and response time was almost instant! She took our little girl in with open arms and have provided her excellent care! Our pup adapted to Jennifer, her animals, and her home with ease. She has helped me with a few late care requests and accommodates my early drop off and late pick up due to work! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)”

“Angela was SO amazing. She was referred to me by my neighbor and did NOT disappoint. She was quick to reply to any and all messages and was super friendly and accommodating. She was picking up my neighbors dogs the same day and offered to pick mine up to which saved me so much time! She was great about updating me on my pup while we were out of town and even took initiative and gave him a bath when he seemed to be a little itchy. 10/10 recommend and will be booking her in the future! Thank you so much Angela and family! Ripley had the best time!”

“My dogs always have an amazing time with Kendra! She sends pictures and is excellent at communicating. I feel really comforted that when I drop my dogs off they RUN to get inside and are just so excited!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Our two dogs were so well cared for, and it was clear they were treated with love and attention the entire time. We appreciated the daily photos and updates. It made being away so much easier. We will absolutely be booking again with Danielle”

“Yoda loved it there before we even left. They have all the toys and even a little coat for him. They took videos of Yoda going on walks and playing. Sherrie and Bill are a lovely couple and did a great job caring for Yoda. They have a closed-in backyard to keep dogs safe. When we go out of town, we hope they're available.”

“Jennifer was really kind and upfront about caring for my dogs who have some anxiety. She has such knowledge and skill she could manage them with aplomb and it allows me to feel comfortable leaving them with her.”

“Audrey was great about sending updates and photos of our senior cat. She was very conscientious about administering transdermal medication and following his routine. She even got past his wariness by the final night of her 4-night stay in our home and had some lap time with him. I'm sure that made both Audrey and our cat happy. We hope she will be available the next time we need someone to care for our little guy.”

“Communication was consistent and detailed. We had a long trip to Japan, and it was a good feeling to get pictures, and a quick summary of my cats activities. Will rebook!”

About: I’ve started at an early age training blue heelers. I retired my service dog two years ago. She is personally trained of off leash hiking. I have two cats. One loves hiking and biking with me. The other enjoys home activities and cuddles. No matter what your fur babies enjoy I can adapt. They enjoy walks and hikes, or they enjoy a good nap with some good home play I don’t mind. I will send the cutest pics and videos if you enjoy updates. I work Monday through Friday. Six am to two pm. I can take off lunch for potty and play time. Before work we can walk/eat/potty same with after. What ever the diet, exercise, or routine is I will continue them as requested. I understand how important diet, medication and routine is for our fur babies.
“Thank you Madeline for loving our cats while we were out. She is prompt, and responsible. We trusted Madeline and would definitely contact her next time we are out of town.”

“Wow! Mike and Sharon exceeded our expectations. They welcomed our cat Lucy very warmly and sent us pictures of her antics throughout her stay. I would have no reservations what-so-ever to ask Sharon and Mike to watch Lucy another time. Highly recommend them to anyone who may be looking for a temporary sitter for their pet.”

“Took great care of our kitties with a very last minute booking after another rover cancelled. Made time for meet and greet and left everything as expected. Would recommend!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have been taking care/riding horses since I was 3, have 2 dogs (senior & adult), and I have my own leopard gecko! Animals tend to find my calm and collected demeanor comforting. I am a 2026 graduate and this summer I am working part time at Nonna Luisa’s in downtown Anacortes. I don’t start work until 4 and tend to have all of the morning to myself, so why not fill it with animals! I would create a personal pet plan with the owner to fulfill the pets needs. This could be walking, letting them out, or just keeping them company!

“She went above and beyond to help out with not only my animals but my garden too! Her communication was excellent and she was kind and genuine. So grateful I found a great sitter!”

About: My cats have had me wrapped around their little paws for decades, and yours will be in very good hands with me. I'm experienced with every stage of feline life, from chaotic kittens to wise old seniors, and I'm just as comfortable administering medication and catering to special needs as I am twirling a feather wand around the living room. Right now I share my home with two cats of my own, who keep my feline-adoration skills delightfully sharp. Past clients have called me a "cat whisperer," as I have a special knack for earning the trust of even the shyest or most hesitant cats. My skillset goes well beyond the average sitter, with hands-on experience giving medication, comfort with special needs cats of all kinds, and experience caring for high-maintenance foster kittens while their families were away. My love of animals extends to exotics like chinchillas, parrots, and fish, and I bring a broad and attentive approach to every creature in my care. I also take great photos of my clients' fur-babies (and scale- and feather-babies!) and send lots of updates, because I know how much it means to feel connected to your pet while you're away. I'm an experienced Rover sitter who built a wonderful client base in Seattle before moving to Anacortes a couple of years ago, and I genuinely miss all the critters I used to care for there. I'm really excited to meet the animals and their people here in my new community! I'm reliable, organized, and genuinely passionate about what I do. If you're looking for someone who will truly bond with your cat rather than just check a box, I'd love to connect.
About: *We do not accept bookings that give less than 48 hour notice from the start date. Sorry!* I am a professional dog trainer and breeder of Australian Shepherds. My family and I have moved all over the US and are now back in Washington! I used to run a fully operational boarding facility and board and train program in Island County and have decided to start out slow now that we're settled back in our home state. I have 20 years of experience training dogs- 15 of those years being a paid, licensed and insured professional. I take the utmost care of any animal in my charge. I treat them like family and honor all the requests made by owners to ensure their pet is treated perfectly when they are gone! I understand the love and care people have for their animals and do everything I can to show that same level of care when they are under my watch. I take videos and photos regularly to keep families updated, as well! I am a SAHM with decades of experience in the canine world. My dogs, and my clients, are my life. They are my whole routine! I am equipped to manage all varieties of dogs from the easiest house guest to dog aggressive cases or complicated medical needs. I tailor my services to each individual dog to give them the best possible care and allow their people to have some freedom and know their dog is well cared for. I make sure to chat with owners and let them know what variety of boarding I offer is most suitable for their dog. I am able to make multiple daily trips to feed, potty and play with client dogs in their homes. My times are very flexible and have often done combo stays- where your dog stays the night with me and I drive it to your home during the day and pick up again in the evening. This works well for senior dogs or puppies who need monitoring over night.
“Sienna was beyond wonderful. She took care of my sweet elderly cat for two weeks when I had to go out of town. Before I left, she came over to the house to get to know me and my cat; while I was gone, I got updates and pictures with every visit, and I knew Cat was in the best hands possible. I didn't worry for a second with Sienna taking care of her, and that was such a huge relief. If you need someone who truly takes their time to get to know you and your pets, look no further. She is absolutely the best pet sitter I've ever had.”

“Rebecca did a great job of taking care of our cats while we were away. We really appreciated her Rover Card updates, which always included photos. She was also flexible when we needed to adjust care dates due to travel changes.”

About: I’ve had family cats and kittens ever since I was little. Becoming an adult I craved to care for one on my own and it taught me so much about the responsibility that comes with being the sole provider for them. My Momo had crystals in his bladder and we now have a prescription diet he has to be on. I believe having a clean litter box is important for their health and make sure to do it regularly.

“Chelsey was absolutely amazing! She saved my day by accepting my last minute request within 3 hours. She took incredible care of my pug Hulu, and her own pug, Nigel, was so friendly and welcoming. Hulu had such a great time playing with them that she didn’t even want to leave!”

“I just moved to the area and this is EXACTLY the style of daycare I was hoping to find for our lab Finlay. Free play, no cages, offers boarding, keeps her play groups to a reasonable size, and screens her clients for healthy and well-matched dogs. Roxanne had a beautiful property with lots of space for the pups. -gorgeous farm style environment and we couldn't be happier!!”

“Katrina is a gem - quick responses, and was very easy going and willing to roll with it when I (embarrassingly) forgot my dog's bag of lunch, toys, etc. the first time I brought him over. I don't think he even missed his things, given how well her place is set up for dogs. The big, fenced back yard is a dream!”

“Nicole was a great communicator, very professional, and very, very kind! Nicole and Cody took great care of our dog O’Henry and we will definitely book with them in the future.”

About: I have always loved animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I have experience with cats, dogs, bunnies, and reptiles. “Alexis was so lovely! She took my dog on a nice walk while I was at a drs appt and was really accommodating with my schedule. I would book again with her! Thank you, Alexis!”

About: Lover of pets! I’d love to meet your furry (or not so furry) friend. I’m very active, so long walks & even hikes are totally alright by me! I’m here to help you and your pet thrive. Whether that’s walking, playing, feeding, companionship, bathing , etc. I have been caring for pets since I was a youth. Whether that was neighborhood pets, friends pets or family pet. I have experience with a wide range of ages & sizes. I used to live out on a farm for several years and care for kittens, chickens, goats, pigs, and dogs. I helped take care of newborn kittens, feed and foster trust with them. Regularly cleaning the chicken coop, feeding them, collecting eggs and just hanging out with them. I would feed, brush and hang out with the goats also clean out pen. I raised a pig for 4H feeding, caring, and spending lots of quality time with him. And then of course dogs, I spent a good amount of years caring for two labs. Running them, washing them, cleaning up their dog house, feeding them. Snuggles and cuddles of course. I have notoriously always had an orange cat in my life; however living on the farm had about 6-7 cats I cared for. Them being farm cats mostly wanting to be fed and hung out with me in the grass or came by for pets. Neighborhood cats would get pregnant leading me to foster relationships with their kittens, a lot of times rescuing them, cleaning them up and bringing them back to wellness then re-homing them. Overall, I’d love to play & care for your pet as you see fit! Ideally I’d prefer a meet & greet prior to care. I have a very open and flexible schedule; morning's, afternoons and most evenings I should be around. My work schedule is currently evenings Sunday through Tuesday. I make sure pets are fed on time always have water and are let out whenever needed. I also make sure cat’s litter boxes are well maintained.

About: I have owned pets all my life and along the way I’ve picked up a few tricks that I can use. I am also currently learning to become a veterinarian so I have knowledge that can be useful in an emergency. I am doing a summer course that's online so I have lots of free time to keep your pet(s) safe. I have a couple camping trips planned but they are mostly on weekends. My schedule is only open until the 24th of September, after that I’m back in college. I don’t have a fenced in back yard but I can always hook up your pet to a leash. I currently own two dogs who are both crate trained so if they don’t get along my dogs can be crated.

About: **Due to a new furry addition, I am currently unable to board dogs in my home. As soon as we get this little guy potty trained, i will once again be doing dog boarding!**My pets are my everything. I bake homemade pet treats, talk to my animals like people and constantly try to teach them new skills. If you look up dog mom in the dictionary, my photo is there. (I am somewhat dog centric but I have one very spoiled cat as well) Lol. I believe socialization is the key to responsible pet ownership. There are no bad dogs, only bad people. I am an AA graduate from Brandman University and am working towards my masters degree in Psychology. I am a Navy Wife, Dog Mom, Cat Mom and your dogs can't wait to be part of our pack. I will treat your pets like they were my own. I am a big fan of sending photos and or videos and am readily available to answer any questions you may have. I can't wait to meet your fur babies! I do live in a mobile home park and my yard isn't huge, but it is fenced and I promise your fur babies will love it here with all the attention and loves they can get!
About: Hello there! My name is Avery (he/him). I love all types of animals, both common and exotic pets! I have the most experience with cats, birds, dogs and some small animals (guinea pigs and rabbits). My experience with fish and reptiles is more limited, but I have no problem with caring for either of those as well when given proper instructions and their routines. My only limitations for these pets is that I am only comfortable with handling non-venomous/poisonous types. Pets like snakes, arachnids and rats often get a bad rep, so it is important to me that I can be someone who offers that option of care. These kinds of babies deserve just as much love and respect as common pets too! I intend to keep your home and pets well cared for, and ensure your loving pets are treated as if they were my own while I watch and visit them. I love any and all breeds, whether it’s dogs, cats, birds, or any other unique pets! I only have some slight limitations for very large/giant breeds of dogs depending on the temperament of your pup. If you have a gentle giant who is leash trained well, I have no issue with that! However if you have a giant pup who is sweet but may be a bit intense/pulls frequently during walks, physically it is a bit too much for me to handle at the moment. I am still absolutely open to drop ins and/or house sitting for these cases if you have a fenced yard to potty and play with your babies! I am an organized, clean individual with a sociable, outgoing personality, so I can give your pets the most exciting playtime and walks they can experience! If you have any questions or concerns, I accept both texts and phone calls, and if a call is missed I promise to get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you so much for showing interest! Currently I am only available for daily walks and check ins starting from Fridays up to Mondays, as I also have an on site part-time job Tuesdays - Thursdays. I am available for house sitting anytime of the week if you are simply requiring someone to watch your empty home, or if you have a low maintenance pet that does not require daily walks (such as any indoor-only pets). However if you are looking for a house+pet sitter with any babies that do require any walks or time outside during my stay, then Fridays-Mondays are applicable to this! I am vigilant in providing the upmost care towards owner's homes and pets and any needs that are communicated with me during my stay. Cleanliness and respect of personal property and boundaries as well as maintaining a pet's routine to help minimize as much stress for them as possible is just as important to me as it is for my clients. If there are ever any additional things in regards to your pet or home that I can do for you (ex. bringing mail in, taking out trash/recycling, plant care etc.) please absolutely let me know!

About: I’ve cared for both farm and house pets for most of my life. My dream is to have a homestead with as many animals as I can care for. I’ve taught dogs and my cat different commands and would love would love to learn more things to train. I believe mental enrichment is so important to keep animals living a happy life. I’m currently a stay-at-home per parent so my routine is quite flexible. I try not to be away from homes for too long so my dog doesn’t have to be crated for prolonged periods. I am no stranger to walking dogs on leash. I currently don’t have a fenced yard so my dog only goes out on leash but in the past I have walked dogs of all sizes. I will treat you and your babies with respect and care. I understand a pets body language and am able to assess a situation to intuit what your pet needs.

My own dog lived past 15 years old, and supporting him through the health challenges that come with age taught me how to administer a wide range of medications and provide the patient, attentive care senior dogs need to stay comfortable and happy. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, quiet companionship, or a little extra support due to age or medical needs, I’m committed to making them feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine steady, their tail wagging, and your mind at ease knowing they’re in caring, capable hands. Now that I’m not working outside the home, I’m able to devote my days to something I genuinely love — caring for pets. My schedule is calm, flexible, and fully centered around being available when pet parents need me most. Whether it’s early‑morning visits, midday check‑ins, or keeping a steady routine for your pet while you’re away, I have the time and attention to make it happen. I’m an early riser, so morning feedings, walks, or drop‑ins fit naturally into my day. I enjoy starting the morning with purpose, and there’s nothing better than beginning the day with a happy tail wag or a content purr. Because I’m home throughout the day, I can offer consistent care, low‑stress routines, and quick communication — all things that help pets feel secure and help you feel confident while you’re away. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into a busy schedule. It’s a meaningful part of my everyday life, and I’m committed to giving your pets the same calm, reliable, loving care I give my own. I’ve learned that the little details make the biggest difference. When I’m in your home, I follow a careful routine to make sure your pets stay secure, comfortable, and stress‑free. * I keep doors and gates fully secured at all times and double‑check them before leaving. * I follow your pet’s routine exactly as you describe it, including feeding times, walk schedules, and any special instructions. * I monitor your pet’s behavior and environment closely, making sure they’re safe, calm, and not getting into anything they shouldn’t. * I keep all medications, treats, and supplies organized and give medications exactly as directed. * I maintain a clean, hazard‑free space by ensuring food, plants, and household items are out of reach. * I stay in communication with you, sending updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. * I respect your home by locking up properly, turning off lights, and keeping everything just as I found it.
“Katrina helped me out last minute while visiting the area to hike. Between Katrina and her sisters it seemed that my chihuahuas had a lot of attention and love! My dogs weren't even in a rush to leave so I know they enjoyed their new human friends.”

“Morgan S. Was AMAZING!! Recommend 10/10. She kept me up to date on how my puppy did and even took extra care of a past injury of his. She sent lots of photos and was very response to any questions or messages I sent! Will be booking again for sure!”

“Hands down five stars! Alexis and her family took great care of our dog Freddy for the weekend. She sent daily photos, videos, and updates. I would highly recommend Alexis to anyone.”

“Brooke is an amazing dog sitter. She has a huge yard for Birdie and her new best friend Lambeau. Lots of photos and texts. Lots of walks and attention. Thank you again!”

“Luna’s first daycare experience was awesome! She slept the entire hour and a half car ride afterward and for a 6 month old puppy in a car?! I know she played hard! She was so loved and cared for :)”
