“Kelsey was great! Her house and environment is so clearly set up for any dogs needs. Her kids were gentle and well dog informed! Would/will absolutely use her services in the future!”

“Amazing! Our Clyde had such a good time! Kinda funny as when I left him, he didn't even want to say goodbye to me. Instead just followed the children into the house to play. Perfect stay!”

“Rene was wonderful- I made a last-minute request and was so lucky that she was available. My dogs clearly had a good time with her because they didn't go absolutely insane when I came to pick them up, like they usually do. They obviously had had a good time! “Kris was so helpful! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

She sent frequent update photos, which gave us so much peace of mind, and was incredibly attentive to all of their needs. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional dog care!”

“Thank you Madeline for loving our cats while we were out. She is prompt, and responsible. We trusted Madeline and would definitely contact her next time we are out of town.”

“Virginia is simply the best! On time, very thoughtful in taking care of my cat and does a great job overseeing all our in home cat care details and provides wonderful followup Rover Report Cards... this helps me feel at ease with how things are going. I would recommend Virginia anytime, an excellent Rover Cat Sitter!! Thank you!!”

“Audrey was great about sending updates and photos of our senior cat. She was very conscientious about administering transdermal medication and following his routine. She even got past his wariness by the final night of her 4-night stay in our home and had some lap time with him. I'm sure that made both Audrey and our cat happy. We hope she will be available the next time we need someone to care for our little guy.”

“Took great care of our kitties with a very last minute booking after another rover cancelled. Made time for meet and greet and left everything as expected. Would recommend!”

“Anastasiia was an amazing sitter for our cat. She provided lots of updates and photos throughout the day. She showed true competency, even for our kitty who has specific medicine needs. Best sitter we’ve ever used, by far!”

“Sienna was beyond wonderful. She took care of my sweet elderly cat for two weeks when I had to go out of town. Before I left, she came over to the house to get to know me and my cat; while I was gone, I got updates and pictures with every visit, and I knew Cat was in the best hands possible. I didn't worry for a second with Sienna taking care of her, and that was such a huge relief. If you need someone who truly takes their time to get to know you and your pets, look no further. She is absolutely the best pet sitter I've ever had.”

“Holly goes above and beyond when caring for our cats! They can be a handful and often get into things, which she always picks up. She even washed a couple of my dishes that got left in the sink. The cats are always well cared for and happy when we get back home”

“Veronika was a perfect choice to look after my feisty cat! She worked hard to earn her trust and even got her to play after the first visit! I would highly recommend her for attention to detail and genuinely caring for the well-being of furry family members. Thank you Veronika!!”

About: I grew up taking care of the 2 dogs in my household, as well as my grandmother and neighbor's pets while they were away from home. I've been caring for dogs at all stages of their life, from puppies all the way up to senior dogs. (My girl is now 7, and I had a senior dog that recently passed away.) My grandmother and dad also had many cats, so I’m also very comfortable with them and love them to death. I would often volunteer at the animal shelter back home on the weekends and I have had a lot of experience working with not only with smaller pets, but with larger animals as well. I spent a summer volunteering at a barn taking care of the horses there. I'm in the Navy and work evenings, so I have a bunch of free-time in the morning on weekdays and all day during weekends to take care of your pets. Hours sometimes get switched around, but I’ll always be able to make time for your furry friend(s). I'm very attentive to a pet's needs, and will provide them top-notch care. I can follow directions well, and won't just give them the bare minimum when it comes to your beloved family member. Id treat them as if they were my own.

About: My cats have had me wrapped around their little paws for decades, and yours will be in very good hands with me. I'm experienced with every stage of feline life, from chaotic kittens to wise old seniors, and I'm just as comfortable administering medication and catering to special needs as I am twirling a feather wand around the living room. Right now I share my home with two cats of my own, who keep my feline-adoration skills delightfully sharp. Past clients have called me a "cat whisperer," as I have a special knack for earning the trust of even the shyest or most hesitant cats. My skillset goes well beyond the average sitter, with hands-on experience giving medication, comfort with special needs cats of all kinds, and experience caring for high-maintenance foster kittens while their families were away. My love of animals extends to exotics like chinchillas, parrots, and fish, and I bring a broad and attentive approach to every creature in my care. I also take great photos of my clients' fur-babies (and scale- and feather-babies!) and send lots of updates, because I know how much it means to feel connected to your pet while you're away. I'm an experienced Rover sitter who built a wonderful client base in Seattle before moving to Anacortes a couple of years ago, and I genuinely miss all the critters I used to care for there. I'm really excited to meet the animals and their people here in my new community! I'm reliable, organized, and genuinely passionate about what I do. If you're looking for someone who will truly bond with your cat rather than just check a box, I'd love to connect.

“Thank you for everything Jasmin. You are so reliable and a great sitter. Thank you for taking great care of my fur babies. I will definitely rebook for my next service. Appreciate you a lot!”

About: I love animals and understand that cats have their own personalities, boundaries, and routines. I’m patient and comfortable giving them space to warm up to me at their own pace. I can help with feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, and companionship while following your instructions carefully. I’ll also send photos and updates during each visit so you know your cat is safe and comfortable.

“Thank you so much for watching our baby Boo! He was wore out and was sad the next day he didn't have his buddies around. Next time we come to Washington we will book again with Jennifer. She did an amazing job and he loved staying there!”

“Sarah was great with watching Kaia for doggy day care! She had great communication and sent several pictures throughout the day. We would definitely use her again to watch Kaia! Thank you! 🐾✨”

“My pups are always excited when I pull up at Nicole's, they run right up to the door, which shows me they're happy and comfortable in her home. She's has excellent communication and takes good care of my babies.”

“Morgan did a great job watching Sparky. Sparky really enjoyed playing with her dogs. Morgan was very nice and friendly and she was able to take Sparky very early in the morning. We will definitely leave Sparky with her again.”

“Virginia and family took great care of Shay. I will call upon Virginia next time in town and in need of a doggie sitter. We were in town last year or early 2023 and she took great care of Shay then. I give her quad A+ rating !”

“Brooke was very communicative and my boy came home sooooo tired! She has a large yard where he zoomed with her dog and she walked him multiple times during the day! Thanks Brooke and Lambeau!”

“Katrina is a gem - quick responses, and was very easy going and willing to roll with it when I (embarrassingly) forgot my dog's bag of lunch, toys, etc. the first time I brought him over. I don't think he even missed his things, given how well her place is set up for dogs. The big, fenced back yard is a dream!”

“Hazel had a blast hanging out with Jax! She came home happy, tired, and well cared for. It was clear she had a wonderful time, and we’d definitely trust Virginia with Hazel again!”

“I am the kind of person who hates leaving their dog with anyone because I'm so paranoid the worst case scenario could happen.... Not the case with Roxanne! She was quick to get in touch with me after my initial request and very flexible with my schedule. Clooney's tail wags nonstop as soon as we pull into her driveway, and he seems to forget about me the minute we walk through the door! Roxanne sends periodic texts and pictures throughout the day, which I also love. My mind is always at ease once I drop Clooney off at Roxanne's house, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Anacortes and Oak Harbor area!”

“William was a joy to work with. He was very tolerant handling our ever changing scheduling beginning and ending his care of our doggie. We needed a sitter of our dog while we went out on a boat tour for several hours necessary because we were visiting from a community a few hours distant. All became very confusing when the scheduled sitter cancelled at the last moment. William calmed us and managed our concerns with grace. AND, our doggie was very pleased and happy.”

“As our puppy has been growing and we have communicated in advance with Virginia of his changing needs, she has been helpful in adjusting her own schedule to meet his needs. We would understand if this wasn’t always possible but she does a great job working with us. She is easy to communicate with and reliable.”

“Madeline came by to get the dogs zoomiez out so they didn't spend too much alone time being mischievous. I'd recommend Madeline and hope to work with her in the future!”

“Audrey was great! She was available on short notice for a next-day visit, was easy to communicate with, showed up exactly when she said she would, and did great with our Cavalier puppy! Will definitely be booking her again!”

“Sarah came in so clutch! We gave her no notice and reached out for last minute dog walk. She was super quick to respond and took great care of our pups! Definitely recommend and will book again!”

About: Lover of pets! I’d love to meet your furry (or not so furry) friend. I’m very active, so long walks & even hikes are totally alright by me! I’m here to help you and your pet thrive. Whether that’s walking, playing, feeding, companionship, bathing , etc. I have been caring for pets since I was a youth. Whether that was neighborhood pets, friends pets or family pet. I have experience with a wide range of ages & sizes. I used to live out on a farm for several years and care for kittens, chickens, goats, pigs, and dogs. I helped take care of newborn kittens, feed and foster trust with them. Regularly cleaning the chicken coop, feeding them, collecting eggs and just hanging out with them. I would feed, brush and hang out with the goats also clean out pen. I raised a pig for 4H feeding, caring, and spending lots of quality time with him. And then of course dogs, I spent a good amount of years caring for two labs. Running them, washing them, cleaning up their dog house, feeding them. Snuggles and cuddles of course. I have notoriously always had an orange cat in my life; however living on the farm had about 6-7 cats I cared for. Them being farm cats mostly wanting to be fed and hung out with me in the grass or came by for pets. Neighborhood cats would get pregnant leading me to foster relationships with their kittens, a lot of times rescuing them, cleaning them up and bringing them back to wellness then re-homing them. Overall, I’d love to play & care for your pet as you see fit! Ideally I’d prefer a meet & greet prior to care. I have a very open and flexible schedule; morning's, afternoons and most evenings I should be around. My work schedule is currently evenings Sunday through Tuesday. I make sure pets are fed on time always have water and are let out whenever needed. I also make sure cat’s litter boxes are well maintained.

About: *** when booking please be aware, when you cancel the day of the request, you will ONLY get 50% of your money back. Ive been a pet sitter for 6 years, willing to assist others with proper care for their pets in my home as well as provide some company for me! I will follow all directions that are given and do the best performance I can for each pet. I enjoy the company of pets because as you can tell from my profile, We can have a few lunch or dinner meet ups to learn about the pet and what I can do while you’re away! I do my best to communicate with each my clients I understand communication is key. I am in the military, I work a strict schedule. But sometimes I am needed momentarily but that’s where I communicate the most for that I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an open small home. It encourages me to get out my house and I love company it’s very lonely.
About: I have an old English Bulldog who is 9 years old who I love dearly. I watch many friends and family members dogs when they go on vacation. During the summer months I am very flexible to watch/walk pets. During the school year I am available before school, after school, possibly during my lunch break, and the weekends. I love taking care of pets, and I take pride in taking care of them the same way I would want my own pet taken care of.

“Anastasiia is a fantastic sitter. She got along with our slightly temperamental, but sweet as pie, pittie right away. She’s reliable, punctual, and takes wonderful care of or little monkey. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi there my name is Kaeti. I have plenty of experience dog sitting and can provide references upon request! My hope is to provide a comfortable environment for your family member while you are on vacation. :) I'm currently a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to check on your family members and take care of them! I'm pretty open and flexible. I would prefer to care for dogs at my clients home. I may be able to care for animals at my house depending on the client.
About: I grew up with two amazing black labs named Jip and Barney. They were a huge impact on my life. I've loved dogs ever since, they are such amazing compassionate creatures. I also have previous experience dog walking/sitting in the past. (Life long Anacortes resident) I started walking dogs as a kid, and have also taken care of pets for my friends/coworkers. I currently work at a local dog daycare in Anacortes where I’m around 30-50 60 almost everyday. Have worked at my current daycare for a total of 2 years. I may have met your dog! Volunteered at humane society in the past and currently have an amazing cat named Meowskers (who I found at the same shelter) who you will have seen in my picture! I would love to meet your pet and give them the exercise they need and love. I currently have full availability on weekdays, and can do select drop in visits and dog walks on the weekend. I currently work on call at a local dog daycare in Anacortes. I have availability most days, with occasional scheduled shifts I come in for. If you are needing a house sitter as well I typically have availability especially around holiday time. My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable. I have experience administering medications, and thanks to working at a dog daycare for the past few years, completely used to cleaning up their 💩. I can take your dog to the dog park/hikes around Anacortes or just a simple walk around the neighborhood. Whatever you are comfortable with. Dog safety is very important where I work and my priorities are that your dog has been well fed, has water, and gets a chance to exercise so they have the best chance of succeeding while you are away.
About: Whether your pet is a ball of energy, a cautious observer, or somewhere in between, I’d love to get to know them and give them the kind of care that makes them feel right at home. I work with children, which has taught me a lot about patience, supervision, and the importance of paying attention to the little details. I bring that same care and attentiveness to every pet I look after. I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, entertained, and loved. I’ve had cats my entire life, so cats are especially close to my heart. I love playtime, brushing, nail trims, and figuring out the best way to win over even the shyest kitty. I’m very happy to let cautious cats take things at their own pace and use play, patience, and plenty of treats (if allowed!) to help them come out of their shell. I’m also an active person and love getting outside with dogs! Long walks, plenty of sniffing, games, and working on leash manners are right up my alley. I have experience teaching dogs leash skills, including heel commands, and I’m always happy to help a pup get some of their energy out in a fun and safe way. My split work schedule gives me lots of availability throughout the day, including early mornings, midday, afternoons, and evenings. That means I can give your pet plenty of attention and companionship rather than making them feel like they’re just waiting around for someone to come home. I currently work part-time on weekdays with a split schedule, so I’m only at work from 6:00–9:30 AM and 2:00–6:30 PM. This gives me plenty of availability before work, between shifts, and in the evenings to check in on, walk, feed, play with, and care for your pets. I’m also happy to spend extra time with pets who need a little more attention or companionship! When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and pay close attention to things like doors, leashes, and their surroundings to help prevent accidents or escapes. My experience working with kids has taught me to be observant, responsible, and patient, and I bring those same qualities to pet care. I understand every pet is different and will respect their individual needs and boundaries. I also treat every home with care and respect, cleaning up after pets and leaving things tidy. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Would/will absolutely use her services in the future!”

“Amazing! Our Clyde had such a good time! Kinda funny as when I left him, he didn't even want to say goodbye to me. Instead just followed the children into the house to play. Perfect stay!”

“Katie took such great care of our 2 boys. She gave us regular updates and shared photos often. They were very happy with Katie and her family and pets too! We will be booking Katie again soon!”

“Rene was wonderful- I made a last-minute request and was so lucky that she was available. “Avery went out of her way to make me and my blind dog feel comfortable. I came back to a dog who was well cared for and in as good of shape as when I dropped him off. I received several reassuring texts, photos and videos while gone. Cannot imagine a more comfortable experience for both my dog or myself. I am delighted to have found such a caring dog sitter.”

“Nicole & Cody go above and beyond! Our pup is always excited to see them and has a blast while in their care. They're super responsive and regularly send the cutest photos.”

“Will was very easy to communicate with and took great care of Blakely. She seemed to be in great spirits when we picked her up. I would definitely recommend Will for future visits”

“Amanda was amazing. She sent us pictures and gave us updates. Her dogs were great companions for our dogs Sid. Sid was happy when we picked him up so we know he had a good time with Amanda. She is Sid’s sitter from here on out.”

“Awesome sitter!! Morgan and family were wonderful and tended to our poodle pup as one of their own furry family members!! She helped out by extending Alfies visit a few hours!! Thank you so much! We hope to have Alf “visit” again!!! 🤗”

“Sara and Cannon took great care of my dog for 2 nights while we were away. They were quick to respond and send updates. My dog doesn't like to eat sometimes when he stays at Rovers, and they were able to make him feel comfortable enough to eat. He also can be a little weird about some of others, especially larger ones. But they have a smart separation and introduction system, so my dog warmed up nicely and got along well with all the other dogs and enjoyed playing. My dog really enjoyed snooping around their fenced backyard too! I recommend Sara for sitting your dog!”
“April knew exactly what my pup needed. As a “still in training” young dog, she reinforced the skills we were already learning and kept him engaged. She has a great indoor space and safe backyard for dogs. We received frequent updates and it was clear he very much enjoyed his stay.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Our two dogs were so well cared for, and it was clear they were treated with love and attention the entire time. “We had such a wonderful experience with Brianna! She boarded our two dogs for several days and went above and beyond in every way. She sent frequent update photos, which gave us so much peace of mind, and was incredibly attentive to all of their needs. It was clear our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Brianna was accommodating, reliable, and genuinely caring. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional dog care!”

“Jael and her family made our dog feel right at home! Drop-off and pick-up were quick and easy, and when we returned, our dog was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We’ve tried kennels before and our pup came back stressed and underweight — but with Jael, it was the complete opposite. Stella ate well, played, and looked so content when we picked her up. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like family, but Jael truly does. We couldn’t recommend her more — 10/10 experience!”
