About: I have 3 dogs of my own; my old man toy poodle Chai, big baby Baxter, and sweet lil mama Maisie! All of them are non aggressive, and love new friends. My husband is military, so as we travel, I have worked on rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. I’ve been doing kennel boarding/daycare for some time now, but am looking to specialize in giving individualized love, care, and attention to each of my fuzzy friends! In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.

About: Grew up with a dog. As an adult I've had dogs since 1997, but I'm without a dog for the first time, so I thought dog sitting would fill the hole in my dog loving soul. Also, my son is without a dog for the first time in his life and missing having one even more than me. I work from home and don't travel much, so pretty flexible. I live right in a dog friendly building right next to a dog friendly park. We believe that dogs need cuddles and are part of the family. About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!
