Laramie is a pretty sensitive girl, and Lindsay was incredibly patient, gentle, and thoughtful with her. It was clear she really paid attention to what Laramie needed to feel comfortable and safe. I really appreciated how much care Lindsay put into helping her settle in and feel secure. Lindsay’s home and single-client at a time set-up was perfect for Laramie. Laramie ended up doing very well during her stay, which meant a lot to me. I’m so grateful for the kindness and attention Lindsay gave her, and I will absolutely trust her with Laramie again. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! “Gae and her husband Steve were absolutely amazing with our pets, Romero (dog) and Luna (cat). As soon as we walked in the door, our sensitive little rescue dog gravitated towards them immediately. My husband and I were completely thrilled, and a little shocked to be honest, at how easily Romero transitioned into their care. I think he could tell these were loving and gentle souls and he was safe. Luna was also super comfortable in their home and spent her time watching nature from the top porch. We went on vacation without any worries and that was a comforting feeling for us. When you meet Gae and her husband, you instantly know these are great people. My first dog, Angel, was a Beauceron mix with a blue tongue. She was my best friend, my protector, my shadow. I loved her fiercely. She went over the rainbow bridge three years ago at the age of 14. About a year before she passed, our Kai Ken/Mudi mix, Cody Coyote, joined the family as her companion. This past summer, Corgi pup, Michael, moved in. My son's first official dog. Daily walks with my pups are very important for me and for them. I need the movement, and they need to smell. We take walks after I get off work. My pups eat breakfast before I work and eat dinner when my family does. (I don't take new pets without a previous meet and greet, unless is an emergency case) My priority is to keep your pet safe, comfortable and fully entertained while you are away. Walks around the lake in our neighorhood surrounded by nature are a must do in our daily check list (sometimes we even take them to the mall to socialize and get free treats lol) As a pet sitter I'm offering house & pet walking/sitting opportunities to families (I'm willing to travel farther and pick up them by myself)! I have aided many friends & family members in keeping their pets safe to keep their stay-away stress free! I have years experience with dogs and cats. My pets and I are used to wake up at 5:30 sm in the morning for the first "Potty Time" Breakfast between 7-8 am. Walks after midday, naps when/if they are tired. In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.
About: I cared for my first dog, a terrier mix, for 10+ years back in Germany. These days, I volunteer on a nearby farm to care for rescue horses. I'm working full-time from home and can be fairly flexible throughout the day. I take an hour-long walk around our neighborhood every day and would love to have a dog companion. About: I just recently moved to the Shelton area and have been working with animals my whole life. Your pets are my #1 priority and I always value safety the most. It’s important to me that your pet gets the care, exercise and attention that it needs on a daily basis safely. I live on a golf course with a lake so it’s the perfect area for your pet to get fresh air with a scenic view and plenty of nature to enjoy. I’ve worked with all types of dogs from elderly/disabled to aggressive giant dogs and puppies that just had surgery. About: I take my animals seriously especially my dogs. They are just full of life. I house 1 mastiff pit boxer mix ive had since he was 8 weeks the other is a rescue a mountain hound mix. Both are my world anywhere I am they are. They love to smile and wiggle. I have always had animals so everyday I am tasked with the responsibility of taking care of them From cleaning litter to walking my dog to taking them to vet to just overall being there. I currently work full time on day shift, so i will not be available from 4am-3pm but I am at all other times and I'm ready and willing to take care of your fur babies like they were my own. About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was 2 years old. My dog was my best friend from 2-16 yrs. I was raised on a mini farm and was lucky enough to care for horses, cows, pigs, chickens, several dogs, many cats and recently goats. Nothing brings me more happiness than being around our furry friends. Currently, we have 3 miniature poodle mixes, which we love beyond words. We recently adopted a St. Bernard/Pitbull mix. We have a big dog house 24’x12’ fully fenced to board big dogs. Medium 20 lbs to extra small dogs board/daycare inside our home. We offer an alternative to traditional boarding/daycare. About: I was a teacher for 15 years and if I can take care of a class full of 25 ten-year olds, I can definitely take care of pets! I have been a pet owner all my life, and I am in tuned with what animals need. I have experience with reptiles, dogs, and cats. I enjoy being outdoors and playing with animals. Being on the other side, as a client, I know how important it was for me to get photos and updates of my dogs so I am happy to provide daily updates and pictures to keep your mind at ease while away from your loved one! I am currently a full time stained glass artist working from home, so I have all the time in the world to take pets for walks and attend to their needs and activity levels. They will be with me all day! My home is on tidelands, so if your dog likes to swim we can arrange some fetch in the water. Otherwise, we will go for walks/runs on the trail, depending on your pet's energy needs. I am good about staying on the feeding/potty schedule you provide for consistency.

“This is my first time using Rover and out of all the sitters i found I chose Hayley because she has a big yard for my dog Yuri to run around and other dogs to play with. or so I thought. Yuri barks at other dogs and very nervous around them. I knew it would be good for him to be around other dogs so he can get used to being or seeing them without barking. Hayley was very nice and when I picked up Yuri he looked like he's been out and running around all day. It was nice to see him not barking at Hayley's dog, even though he just ignores them it still nice to see him not bark at other dogs. We will definitely take Yuri back to Hayley on our next trip. ”

“Amanda watched our working line GSD for over a week while we were in Hawaii and she has watched him in the past for doggy daycare. She is the real deal and it made all the difference knowing he was safe and well cared for while we were gone. You can tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and other animals. She loves them yes but also understands how to keep them safe and set reasonable boundaries. Her property is ideal for dogs too with a big fenced yard and kennels. 10/10 recommend!”
