I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. About: My experience with dogs has ranged from personal ownership: (raised with two mixed breeds, and owned a WHIPPET for fourteen years), to boarding dogs, to working at a doggie daycare, and working for a dog walking company. Currently I am a stay at home mom to three kids- so I am home most of the time, including weekends. If I do step out, for errands, appointments, and such, I will absolutely make sure your pet has had enough walks/potty breaks. We have a fenced yard, and a great neighborhood for walking. My family, and I will work consistently to make sure your pooch feels comfortable, and loved. That said, for safety reasons I choose not to share photos of my kids on my profile page- regardless, they are great with dogs! My time is flexible in that I can work around my families schedule to provide boarding for your pet(s). We look forward to meeting you/them! About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life as well as caring for my own animals at home. I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. You will not find someone more passionate or empathetic about animals of any and all shapes and sizes. When people weren’t there for me, my animals were, and I have vowed to be there just the same for them. I am a strong creature of habit, and love a good structured routine to my day. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group.
