“Kirby had the best time with Mary and new doggie friends over the weekend! He was so exhausted from playing once he got home. Thanks for taking great care of our boy!!”

“Anita is a very wonderful sitter, took care of my doggo like her own, played with her when he did not want to walk, gave him home made food and took him on long walks. She shared lots of updates too.”

“The girls had a great time with Elana! We got periodic photo updates during their stay which was a sweet touch. They also came back ready for a nap so I'm sure they got some good walks.”

“STOP! Look no more! This is the sitter u are looking for. My frenchie loves people but is very picky with whom he cuddles with. Within one day, he was snuggling with Terri. Shes a special human who really has a connection with animals. Her pictures and updates are stellar! Book her!”

“Katie is the best! She is easy to communicate with and sends regular updates. Katie has boarded my dog twice now and I will continue to reach out to her for future trips. She is reliable, accommodating, and very sweet with my dog. I highly recommend her to others!”

“Shalini provided excellent care to our Frenchie on a recent weekend stay. She welcomed our girl into her family's home and sent us pictures and a video showing Ladybug had settled in right away and was having a good time. Thank you, Shalini for your kind care of our girl!”

“Jenny is excellent as always. We were gone for an extended trip to the Philippines, and she provided regular updates and cute pictures of Bouncer while we were away. I also asked if she would be able to give Bouncer a bath since we were gone for a while. Jenny kindly agreed. I gave Jenny additional compensation for this. I could tell that she went above and beyond for my dog. I'll be asking Jenny again for help with Bouncer in the future!”

“Rosa and Jacob are wonderful people who truly are great with dogs! They sent us many pictures and videos daily. Kenji looked very happy which put us at ease being away from him. He looked like he was enjoying his vacation away from us too! We recommend Rosa and Jacob to anyone who needs very caring furbaby sitters”

“Tammy is fantastic! She took great care of Charlie! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will absolutely be having her watch Charlie again. It’s great to feel free to travel and know that your dog is being well cared for. I love that he had other dogs to play with all week, and came home happy and exhausted. If you are looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and professional home-boarding experience, this is it.”

“Thank you for everything Chelsea! You take really good care of Mishka every time and I very much appreciate it. I highly recommend Chelsea to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”

“Mary is Toni's (and our) favorite sitter! She sends the most adorable photos of Toni and her dog, Obie, playing together. It is such a relief when travelling to know that Toni is in such goods hands with Mary :)”

“Cooper was well taken care. We got lots of pics and updates. He had so much fun! Thank you to Genevieve and her family for making Cooper feel at home and part of the clan!”

“I was very nervous about finding a sitter for my shy shih tzu mix, Bean, during our vacation, especially since we are new to the state and don't know many people yet! I was hesitant to search Rover, but ultimately came across Sarah's profile and was very impressed, so we set up a meet and greet where she answered all my questions, and then I booked! Naturally I was nervous the first day or two, but with the updates and photos/videos Sarah provided kept me completely calm and at ease the rest of my vacation! Safe to say that I know Bean will have a great time with Sarah whenever we go out of town from now on!”

“Wan was absolutely excellent. She would send pictures and videos of the dog everyday. I would definitely use her service again. The dogs really enjoyed themselves with Wan and her family. AAA++”

“Where do I start? Communication, love, attention and reassurance- we got it all with leaving our two dogs with Nickey. One dog is a tripod but that didn’t seem to matter at all - he got the same attention and love as the other. I never felt like I didn’t know what was happening or how they were being treated. They both came home tired and happy. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Nickey loves my dogs just as much as we do and that has no price and peace of mind.”

“Kristen and Brian are the best! They showered our baby with so much love and affection, we don't think our baby missed us at all! They kept sending us pictures throughout. Fed her well and she got a lot of playtime with their fur baby as well!!! 100% will go back to them.”

“Highly recommend Monica! Monica took amazing care of our dogs, Romeo and Leo, while we were on vacation. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, responsible, and easy to work with. She kept us updated regularly with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that both Romeo and Leo were happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay. When we picked them up, they came back healthy, relaxed, and in great spirits. What really stood out was how accommodating Monica was with our constantly changing travel schedule. Our trip got rescheduled multiple times, and she was very understanding and flexible, which we truly appreciated. We also loved that she only boards a small number of dogs at a time (just two), so they get plenty of attention and care. We’re so glad we found Monica and will definitely trust her again in the future”

“Sukanya is amazing. She cared for my girl, Ivy as if she was her own. She cooked for her and spoiled her in all positive ways. She sent pictures and videos daily, sometimes twice daily. She messaged the same and kept me informed of everything. She treated Ivy like family. I had no concerns, if anything, I had great peace of mind to know that Ivy was being so well cared for. Honestly, I can’t say enough good about Ivy’s stay. Ivy will stay with her again.”

“Kearstin was amazing and helped us out last minute with cat sitting for our cat. She was responsive, reliable, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We really appreciated the updates and the care she gave our cat. Everything went smoothly, and we would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I focus on making cats feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible, whether they’re in my home or their own familiar environment. I know every cat has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so I always try to adapt to what works best for them. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the cats routine. I make sure feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, medications (if needed), playtime, and overall care stay consistent so cats feel secure while their owner is away. I also give plenty of affection and attention while still respecting boundaries, especially with shy or anxious animals. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I make sure pets have plenty of attention and downtime depending on their needs. I also believe communication is really important, so I like to send updates and photos whenever possible to help owners feel reassured while they’re away from their pets- and who doesn’t love extra cute pictures of their pets!
“Cedric is the best, excellent with my cats and makes my vacations so much better knowing that I don’t have to worry. They’re very trustworthy, prompt and quick to respond. We will be using them again.”

“A+ Pet Sitter! Michelle was all-around excellent and we greatly appreciate her help, especially on short notice with a major holiday (July 4th). We appreciated her attention to detail, and care she provided our cat with the updates we got every day. We would highly and definitely recommend Michelle.”

“Amanda was fantastic! She was incredibly kind and her communication was great. And, our grumpy cat liked her, which never happens. Will definitely book with Amanda again.”

“Susan was wonderful! She was very communicative and thoughtful. Will definitely have her watch my kids and house in future. I don't think my cats even cared I was gone.”

“I highly recommend Julia as an experienced pet sitter! She was really great for drop-ins with my cat, giving him lots of play time and helping him practice his cat tricks. Her schedule was very flexible. We came home to a healthy and happy cat!”

About: Hello, I'm Jenn! I started cat sitting for friends and now I've already been reviewed as a cat whisperer! I’ve had cats since grade school. I've also just started a Vet Assistant program and volunteering at a shelter so I can work more with animals. My experience started when “Kitty Cat” (the only name she would come to) came on our porch on Christmas Eve. We had her for many years. We also had Rascal around the same time. He was spunky and Kitty Cat begrudgingly tolerated him. Later on, I adopted my sweet Connie when a roommate left her behind. I had her for 16 years. She was probably up to 20 years old before she became ill and crossed the Rainbow Bridge (I met her before I met my husband). After we were ready, we adopted two stray kitten boys, Laszlo and Nandor (yes, named after two vampire characters from a sitcom). We take them out in our yard on a leash almost every day. They are black cats but we believe they are good luck! I know what my cats mean to me, and I’m sure your cats mean as much to you. I'm ready to show up with a notebook to take notes and take the best care of your fur baby (babies).
“Allison did a great job taking care off our cats! She sent photos every time she visited them. She was friendly and personable, the cats immediately accepted her when she dropped in for orientation. She is responsible mature and very likeable.”

“Kevin was awesome! He was very easy to coordinate with and punctual. He was able to help take care of my cats’ food, water, litter box cleaning, cat deliveries and taking out the kitty trash while I was away! He also gave me the option to extend and was flexible which I appreciated. After meeting with him I also rebooked him for additional longer term help that included medication administering.”

“Absolutely amazing! I can't thank Rainey and Jayde enough for taking care of my cat for the weekend. They genuinely take care of the animals being boarded. I can't recommend enough.”

“Amazing cat sitter!! I hired her to come 2x a day for 5 days and she did a great job caring for my kitties. She takes lots of cute notes and photos. Will definitely hire her again in the future!”

“Excellent! First time Rover user and couldn't be more pleased! Marlene melted my worries away while out of town, providing pictures of my shy senior kitty. Thank you!”

“Jodie is great! She used to watch both of our cats, but sadly one went missing. When we rebooked her to watch the one remaining kitty she had printed out photos of both our boys and gifted them to us in a card. Now that the brother is gone her visits are longer to give him extra snuggles and pets. Her love for our kitties means so much!”

About: I have had cats and been a cat person since I was 3. I have two of my own cats and you could ask anyone that knows me, I am more than obsessed and devoted to them. Cats are a special creature, almost not from this world. They cleanse bad energy and protect against negative spirits. They are angels on this earth and deserve to be given the respect , space, or love they crave. My drema is to create a cat sanctuary to adopt or foster feral or abandoned cats in need

About: I've been a dog handler for about eight years. I started at Meg's Dog House as my first job out of high school and learned everything I know about dogs in my 7 years working there. When Covid hit, Meg and her husband retired and I moved to Seattle where I have spent the last year working as a live in caregiver until recently moving into my own place. I just moved to Arizona after a decade of wanting to make the switch (grew up in Washington and hate the weather) and would love to pick up some side jobs here and there. While Rover cannot be my fulltime job due to the inconsistencies of bookings, I do maintain a main job but I do dedicate most my available free time to the dogs I'm watching when I am off work and schedules would be thoroughly discussed before booking. I have two dogs and two kittens, so I'm used to having animals and catering to them around my schedule. Currently I have open availability but this will change when I get a job so it just depends on my new hours but generally speaking I like a minimum of 3 walks daily, with at least one of them being to an area where they can safely run off leash or on a long line to stretch their legs. However the client prefers. I am adaptable and willing to learn. I have worked with special needs dogs, older dogs, and have a lot of experience with puppies. I am a novice trainer and groomer as well so my whole world is centered around animals!
“Alexandra and her daughter took care of my puppy Kaia for 3 days (Doggy Day Care). I was so happy with how well they treated and took care of my pup. I received many updates throughout the day, pictures and even videos daily. I work early in the morning so she was very accommodating to an early drop off. Their home is clean and safe they had a great place for my puppy to hang out and they had fresh clean toys to play with. I truly appreciate their help and I highly recommend them to anyone that needs their services. I definitely plan to work with them in the near future.”

“Zienna had a very nice time. It was so great for her to play and have time away to grow socially. Rosa also played games with Zienna. Rosa & Jacob are kind and friendly people.”

“Muammer and his partner were so kind and welcoming. They took great care of bunny and bear (two Pomeranian puppies) sent multiple updates/ pictures and videos and when I picked the girls up they were so tired from a fun play day. We will definitely book again. Thank you both for taking such good care of our babies! 🥰😊”

About: Hi, I’m Lyah! 🐾⭐️ 5-Star Rover Pet Sitter Hi! My name is Lyandra, but you can call me Lyah. I’m originally from Brazil and now proudly call the U.S. home. Caring for animals has always been my passion, and today it’s my full-time career. As a 5-star Rover sitter, my focus is 100% on the pets in my care. I don’t have another job—providing personalized, loving, and professional pet care is what I do every day. I share my home with two cats and one dog, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. Every guest is treated like family. I’ve cared for dogs in Brazil, London, and now in the United States. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, as well as dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog enjoys long hikes, swimming, parks, and outdoor adventures, or prefers short walks, indoor enrichment, naps, and cuddles, I customize every stay to match their routine and your preferences. Because pet care is my full-time profession, I provide 24/7 supervision. Your dog is rarely left alone and will receive constant attention, companionship, exercise, and plenty of love. On weekends, my husband loves helping me care for our furry guests. He joins us for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime, giving every dog even more attention and companionship. During their stay, your pup may enjoy: 🐾 24/7 supervision 🐾 Long or short walks based on their needs 🐾 Indoor and outdoor enrichment activities 🐾 Parks, river walks, beaches, and nature trails (with your approval) 🐾 Swimming adventures (when safe and appropriate) 🐾 Plenty of one-on-one attention and cuddles 🐾 Daily photo and video updates Your pet’s safety is my highest priority. I am Pet First Aid & CPR Certified, giving you extra peace of mind while you’re away. As a complimentary thank-you to every family, I love sending each dog home fresh and clean. Before pick-up, I provide a complimentary bath whenever it’s appropriate for your dog’s coat, health, and temperament, so they go home looking and smelling their best. It’s my little gift to every guest! 🛁✨ If your dog is used to sleeping in bed, they’re welcome to cuddle with us! My husband and I always joke that the bed belongs to the pets we just happen to sleep in it. ❤️ My goal is simple: to provide a safe, peaceful, enriching, and loving home where every dog feels comfortable, secure, and genuinely cared for. I can’t wait to welcome your furry family member into our home! 🐶💕 I stay at home, your dog will enjoy companionship, personalized attention, and dedicated care throughout the day. I provide frequent potty breaks, daily walks, playtime, and a safe, supervised environment where your pet will never feel lonely. My home is shared with three friendly resident pets an 8 month old puppy who loves meeting new friends and two gentle cats. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly with cats. Please note that I do not offer pick-up or drop-off services unless transportation is arranged through Uber or another ride service. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Although I live in an apartment, my community offers a large, fully fenced dog park, and we’re located right next to the river with beautiful walking paths. We also have easy access to Forest Park and nearby hiking trails, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor adventures. My apartment community also features a professional pet washing station, similar to a pet grooming salon. I keep a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where every dog is supervised and treated with the same love, patience, and care as if they were my own. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and having a wonderful time while you’re away.
“Nadine is so welcoming to her fury friends. Our dog was well loved and taken care of. Nadine sent pictures throughout the day and communicates regularly. Peace of mind knowing my dog is in such loving hands.”
“Shalini and her husband took excellent care of Hobi! They were very patient and kind. Shalini provided excellent communication and I appreciated the updates including pics and videos. I would highly recommend Shalini and plan to board Hobi with her again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
“I appreciate Mishie's flexibility: She is new to us and was not planning on starting for several more weeks with my pup but I picked up extra shift and Mishie was available with a little rearranging of the day she made sure my Bella had a good walk and some attention to break up her day while I was at work. Thank you for taking the time and the care for put little velociraptor.”

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2016, gaining years of hands-on experience and developing a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and well-being. I hold a special place in my heart for senior dogs and am deeply committed to providing them with comfort and a loving forever home. In 2020, I rescued my beloved Annie, who became an irreplaceable part of my life. Earlier this year, she sadly crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love and companionship that continues to inspire my dedication to dog care.I take great pride in being a responsible, attentive, and compassionate caretaker. My goal is to ensure that every dog in my care feels safe, loved, accepted, and well looked after, especially during times when their owners are unable to be present. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and well-being are always my highest priorities. 🐾 I work full time; however, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to dedicate time, attention and care to your furry friend. I am available to take your friend on regular walks, provide drop-in visits, and closely monitor their well-being when you are unable to do so. My priority is to ensure that your pet remains comfortable, safe, and well cared for throughout the day, receiving the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I live in a well-maintained apartment that has been fully dog-proofed to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for furry friends. The space features large open windows and skylights that allow an abundance of natural sunlight to fill the home, making it an ideal setting for dogs who enjoy relaxing and sunbathing as my own Annie once did. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate trained and find comfort in it. Dogs are welcome on the couch, as I believe they should feel at home, relaxed, and included during their stay. My goal is to provide a calm, secure, and welcoming environment where your dog can feel comfortable and cared for at all times.
“We really appreciate Cedric! He is so reliable and always leaves us detailed notes. I have never had to worry if my pup will be cared for. Thank you, Cedric!”

“Meaghan did a wonderful job taking care of our dog. She was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and answered any questions I had. She was very prompt for the requested walk times and provided daily updates of their walks. I highly recommend her services for your pets and would book with her again in a heartbeat.”

“Adam is fantastic! He's reliable and a quick to respond to messages and requests. He quickly learned my dog's favorite spots in the neighborhood and let's him watch his squirrel friends. He provides reports and pictures. After a long walk with Adam, my dog is ready to nap until I get home from work. Totally recommend Adam!”

About: I have been caring for people and animals all of my life. I have worked with in home care, as a nanny, and volunteered at animal shelters. I am the purfect candidate to help you and your furry friends! I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to walk the dog, make house visits, or hold down the fort while you’re out for the weekend. Until now I was just doing pet care for family and friends, but I’ve enjoyed it so much that I decided to offer my services on Rover.
About: I have been around animals since I was little. I had cats growing up and I loved that but having a dog was always my dream. I now have 2 cats and 2 dogs that we have made a little family over the course of 8 years. I love both and will treat yours like I do my own. I have found so many clients who their pets have become like my family as well. I’m a licensed esthetician so my schedule will be based around the appointments I have booked that day. I can try and be flexible when booking a stay if I have enough notice to block out times to care for dogs if they need a mid day potty break or something. I am available 7 days a week though to dog/cat sit in people’s home, along side my work schedule if that’s not an issue for you. I have a small dog who’s almost 9 and a large dog who just over 1 years old and (2) 5 year old cats. I scoop their litter box everyday and give them pets and love. My dogs loves running in our backyard. I will walk the dog let them roam if that’s allowed in yard and play with your kitties.
“Laurel-Ann was great with our two larger than life pups! Even when one wasn’t feeling good, she kept me in the loop with detailed updates and pictures. I will absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: I've taken all kinds of dogs since I was 18. I love dogs more than cats. Love to walk with them, play, and board. I am very detail oriented. Know when dog wants to go mind there own business.. I am available all week except Sunday. I'll be happy to watch your dog. Or go for a walk with your family member! Play is another thing I don't mind doing it while boarding.. I have a big, fully fenced yard. I do have a dog of my own. He is 4, Belgian Shepherd. Very smart, calm, and happy dog. He gets along well. No kids. Smoke free home!
“Melanie was EXCELLENT! My two furbabies are a 3-mo old puppy and a 2.5-yr old high strung pup who doesn't accept people easily. Melanie clearly took great care of them as they were both happy and excited to see me upon my return, but not crazy stressed at all like one would expect after a totally new person and experience and my being gone so long. I am definitely using Melanie again and highly recommend her. My pups got great attention and care!!”

“Knox loves Hallie! I was looking for a sitter and interviewing folks, but Knox was not having it or picking anybody until Hallie came along. He gets really excited when she pulls up and comes home a happy hound. She’s on time, responsive and even walked in the pouring rain for an hour without a coat. Will definitely keep Hallie around for walks, and can rest easy knowing he’ll be in good hands when I am on vacay. Thanks Hallie!”

About: 2026 update. My lap is nearly always occupied by an 11 year old black cat named Darth Vader. He is bold and social with people, cats, and dogs. Then theres our oldest, Mimi, a 13 year old black cat who is much more timid. Thumbs, our polydactyl calico floof is 6 years old now. Thumbs also hides out often. Both girls have come out of their hidden spots once used to guests. I’ve been around animals as long as I can remember. For many years I had large dogs, pitbulls and mixes. Most of my pets have started off as rescues, but all became loved family members. Our dogs have all crossed the rainbow bridge, but that didn’t remove my talent, passion and care with canines. I currently work part time in Mukilteo. My profession will take priority for roughly 6 hours a week. I do not work overtime, nor on weekends. This seems like a strange question. I care for my pets by feeding them, making sure they have water, cuddling and loving them, walks, and sometimes just naps together.

“Jennifer is the best. She is very personable and professional. At our meet and greet our pup took to her right away. She answered all our questions, and wanted to know all she could about our dog. She now walks our dog several times a week and has just been wonderful. I highly recommend her.”

“Rainey takes really good care of Layla. And have been super helpful when it’s a last minute book. Will definitely continue to have Layla stay with her whenever we travel again.”

“I wanted to take a moment to thank u for the exceptional care you provided to Gabbar during the period. Gabbar seemed so happy and relaxed when we returned and it was reassuring to know that Gabbar was in such a capable hands. I truly appreciated the regular updates, photos and attention to detail in meeting Gabbar’s specific needs. Your professionalism and warmth made the experience stress-free for both us and Gabbar.”

“This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter for our dog, Apollo. Tyler was the best person we could have asked for. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell. Apollo looked like he had the best time. We'd love to have him stay with Tyler again the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“Sullivan loved Morgan - his first time being cared for by a Rover pet sitter! He is an older, sensitive Scotty and I fully expected to have to pick him up early due to anxiety. But he stayed the full time and was so chill when I arrived to pick him up. So happy he did well and so appreciated her texts and photos to ease my mind and know he was being his enjoyable self. I will definitely be booking Morgan again as soon as I have my vacation dates nailed down!”

“Christel took excellent care of our pup. She is very knowledgeable about dog behavior, and worked hard to help my dog feel comfortable in her home and with her dog. Very communicative, and we got lots of pictures and updates. Excellent dog sitter.”

“Catherine was the best rover we could ask for. She took EXCELLENT care of our dog and provided us high quality updates just like we asked. Catherine and her family made our dog feel so special in his home away from home. They poured a lot of love onto our dog and we would absolutely book with her again !”

“Melody was very communicative and sent lots of pictures during Bowie’s stay! She made his stay feel very special with small details like a cute welcome sign and a report card at pick up. Not an expectation but it was very much appreciated. Thank you, Melody!”

“Lexi loved her time with Sola and Kevin. They were very experienced working with my anxious dog and were so accommodating, even offering to pick up medicine for her when her she developed an ear infection. Truly appreciate how loved she was during her stay.”

“We’re very appreciative to Swati for her care of our two dogs for a week. Her daily updates were delightful, and the dogs had a really good set up with daily walks and play in the backyard. We want to use Swati’s care again with no hesitation!”
