“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.

About: Ive always had pets growing up. Cats for the majority but I have babysat families with fish, cats, dogs, and farm animals. I enjoy being outside so it was always a joy. I am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to watch any furry friends. I am available all days of the week besides Sundays I have a partially fenced yard and have 2 indoor cats. They go outside occasionally and avoid confrontation but are otherwise extremely nice and friendly. I always give my cats food and water on a schedule and am sure to include their wet foods for their health. About: I was born and raised on a farm so I have raised many different kinds of livestock and house pets. Animal care is one of my favorite things about living on the farm and I will treat your furry family members as one of my own. I am currently working a 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. I am able to get away during the work day for about an hour, so in that time I can come and let your pet out to potty or give them more food. On the days I am not working, I am completely free to be with your pet for as long as you need me. I will vary my care based on the situation you have at your home and on your pets temperment (ex. going to the park, walking on the sidewalk, or sticking to the yard).

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”
“Taylor was an amazing dog sitter!! It was my first time leaving my 9 month old puppy but with all the pictures and communication that was provided really helped me be at ease. The pictures really helped reassure he was having the best time and was adjusting well. My doggo was well exercised and had the best time hanging out with her pup Kovu! I would definitely rebook!”

“Patricia was amazing. She met with us before booking, and helped us to acclimate our dogs to her home before their long stay. She was accommodating, friendly, and was always fast to respond! We received an update almost once a day on our week and a half long vacation. Updates on how they were doing and if either of them had issues. When we came to pick up our babies, they didn't immediately recognize us and protected her house like it was their own. They truly enjoyed their stay with Patricia, and I would highly recommend her and will use her again if I ever need a puppy sitter while in Spokane. They were thoughtful and conscientious about our dog’s needs and integrating her into their family, which was wonderful.
