About: I have owned lots of animals in my 30 years of life and currently have one very special 9yo mutt who is my world. I have experience with medical issues and am comfortable giving medications and caring for ill, injured or aging animals. I am also an avid walker! I adore kitties and am not bothered by the spicy ones. I had several cats growing up and have lived with or sat many more as an adult. My schedule is a bit random right now, but I have some flexibility that I'm hoping to maintain and will typically have the same schedule every week. I can't have dogs in my home since my dog doesn't always get along with others. He does great with cats, though, and has lived with 4 without issue. So I'm happy to host a cat as long as the cat is alright with dogs! My dog is very wary of cats and mostly just ignores them. I have multiple rooms in my apartment and would separate them when I'm away just as a precaution. I am happy to do home visits and have reliable transportation for such, but I would prefer not to do overnight stays so that my dog isn't alone :)

“Jennifer and David were so great! They responded very fast to my initial inquiry, set up a meet and greet, and at that meeting I knew they would take the best care of my puppy. They have extra precautions to keep their yard and fence secure, and they are very prepared with treats, beds, toys, and kongs. They were easy to work with and were very responsive and helpful, even helping me move my dog’s large crate in and out of the car for day care. They sent me photos and videos throughout the day of Tillie having a blast and being well taken care of. They knew they would have their hands full with a 17 week old puppy for 10 hours but they welcomed her with open arms! I’ll definitely be booking with them again and I’d highly recommend their services.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats, including my own, for as long as I can remember. I have trained my pets as well as other's in basic obedience. I like to study dog psychology and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from tiny-huge and fearful-calm temperaments. About: I've always had dogs in my family, including several rescue dogs which has been super rewarding. My husband and I have been fortunate to be able to retire early but we are both very active. I want to spend my spare time doing something productive that I love... caring for dogs is a perfect fit! Most of my time is spent at my home and in our back yard. I have 2 dogs that are very social and love spending time with other dogs. They will enjoy having play-dates with your dog(s). I believe that every dog deserves to be valued and loved. I limit the dogs I board to a maximum of 4 dogs at a time in order to ensure that each dog will get proper care and attention. I don't work outside of the home. If I need to run an errand or go shopping, my husband is typically home to care for the digs. Dogs are rarely left alone, but if they are, it is for no longer than 2 to 3 hours. When the weather is nice, we keep the sliding door open so that the dogs can hang out indoor or outdoors, wherever they feel most comfortable. During the colder months we let the dogs out every two to four hours. We don't crate dogs unless that's what they're used to. We allow dogs on our furniture and in our bed.

I was particularly encouraged because Roscoe has tended to have stress colitis when boarded which caused diarrhea. His stomach was FINE with Crystal which tells me he wasn’t stressed and he seemed genuinely happy. I will definitely book with them in the future.”

“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”
