Laramie is a pretty sensitive girl, and Lindsay was incredibly patient, gentle, and thoughtful with her. It was clear she really paid attention to what Laramie needed to feel comfortable and safe. I really appreciated how much care Lindsay put into helping her settle in and feel secure. Lindsay’s home and single-client at a time set-up was perfect for Laramie. “Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

“This is the first time we had to leave our three kitties for a trip. Ariana kept us updated during her visits, which made us worry about the kitties less. My boy is skittish, but it seemed like Ariana went with his flow and made sure he didn’t miss his meals. One of my girls had an allergy flair during our trip, making one of her eyes inflamed. Ariana cleaned her eyes and gave her eyedrops. We really appreciated that, and we’re sure our girl appreciated it as well. When we got home, we found our kitties’ food containers washed and drying in the dish rack. We didn’t expect Ariana do that, but it was very much appreciated as well. We’ll definitely ask her to watch out kitties again!”

About: I have had all ages from 0 days to my eldest that is 20yrs old. I have administered oral medications and eye medication, ear medications, topicals, etc. I have taken cats to emergency clinics, vet appointments, etc. I take them on walks with harnesses they just love it. In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.

About: I am a Registered Nurse and a daughter of a Veterinarian. As a young girl I would help my dad on farm calls so have been exposed to all types of animals since a young age. I am athletic and love being outside exploring hikes and trails, especially with a furry friend. I am able to help assist with dog walks, drop in visits, doggy day-care, boarding, medicating, feeding and bathing. About: I grew up around dogs of all sizes! I’ve not had the chance to own a dog of my own, but frequently take care of family/friend pets when needed. I can easily adapt to training routines and am an active person who likes to spend time outside. I’m available and wanting to spend my days surrounded by nature and fur babies! I’ve recently relocated to the Peninsula, after living in Seattle, so I will already be spending much of my time on hikes - why not add a fur baby or two to the mix? About: I have lived and cared for dogs my whole life. I also worked at Camp Union Pet Lodge and have a reference. I am also certified in dog and cat first aid. About: I take my animals seriously especially my dogs. They are just full of life. I house 1 mastiff pit boxer mix ive had since he was 8 weeks the other is a rescue a mountain hound mix. Both are my world anywhere I am they are. They love to smile and wiggle. I have always had animals so everyday I am tasked with the responsibility of taking care of them From cleaning litter to walking my dog to taking them to vet to just overall being there. Its not always easy but everyday I show up and would not trade it for anything! I am comfortable with either pets in my home dog or cat. I do have a good size fenced back yard. “This is my first time using Rover and out of all the sitters i found I chose Hayley because she has a big yard for my dog Yuri to run around and other dogs to play with. or so I thought. Yuri barks at other dogs and very nervous around them. I knew it would be good for him to be around other dogs so he can get used to being or seeing them without barking. Hayley was very nice and when I picked up Yuri he looked like he's been out and running around all day. It was nice to see him not barking at Hayley's dog, even though he just ignores them it still nice to see him not bark at other dogs. We will definitely take Yuri back to Hayley on our next trip. ”
