I have trained them to wear a harness and to come to me when I call their names. I have had medical scares with them and thankfully nothing too serious. I had to give medications to one of them for rat ulcer on his upper lip. I had to give his medication through a syringe in his mouth and feed him a tube while doing so. About: Misty (my sweet 8-year-old Lab) and I have three acres to play on, with Chickens, ducks and dwarf goats to play with. We are outside almost all the time, weather permitting. If you want your dog to get a lot of attention and have a lot of fun instead of just sitting around, we might be the place for you! I'm retired so am available most days (Sunday through Friday) for extended hours. I am always with Misty so if we find the right dog or dogs to hang out with us I will be very flexible about hours. We have three acres completely fenced, although I am in the middle of upgrading the fence from 4 feet tall to 6 to keep out deer. In the morning we feed the animals and water the garden and ornamental flowers/bushes and trees. Then it is play time or projects. We play fetch, take the goats for a walk on the property, or go on an adventure walk to visit neighbor dogs and smell all of the things! In between playing I work on projects around the property. Planting, harvesting, landscaping, etc. In the heat we take breaks inside with air conditioning and in the cold we take breaks to warm up but we'd almost always rather be outside where the fun is!

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child,love dogs,cats, chickens , cows, horses,you name it! Will definitely give your family member love and care while you are away, whether at my house or yours! Currently not working elsewhere,our little ranch is busy. We have Dogs, Kitty's, chickens and fish in our little water feature,so am available to spend lots of time with your family member! I have a kennel available and my dogs and cats are wonderful! Obviously,we will talk about leash walking as we free range our chickens and would never set someone's family member up for failure by putting any animal around things they are unfamiliar with. She evaluated Clancy's needs each time to determine walk or not (especially when very hot outside), or play instead and worked on commands and provided meal, treats and water. She always provided feedback on Clancy and activities included. We loved the pictures & video she provided with each visit. We'd definitely use Lauren again. Also note that Clancy is a puppy (7 months old & weighs 48+ lbs) with lots of energy and Lauren handled him expertly.”
About: I’ve been a pet sitter/house sitter for 3 years now and I absolutely love it! From feeding the animals, providing them daily exercise, and managing medications, I have it all! I also have a fur baby of my own who is 5 years old. I love to be able to pet sitting/house sit over the weekend. I work my primary job during the week, so I live to be able to spend some time with animals on the weekend and help other people enjoy there weekends away! About: Hello everyone! I'm Abby, I've been around dogs all my life from puppies to senior dogs including medically complex fur babies. In my photos, the brown dog was my fur baby for 4 years a rescue that ended up with cancer, me and him fought for 2 of those 4 years before having to say goodbye, I do not currently have any pets. Just a side note, I do have a full time job that is in 8 hour shifts and I can't change that. I am currently an online university student, so I have tons for free time to watch your fur babies, and to play with them so they won't be lonely while y'all are gone. For house sitting I'm down for whatever, for the drop in Sun-Sat 7am-3pm. I will treat the babies like family to play, walk, and spoil with lots of love. If wanted I will send updates and photos of the fur babies as I understand the anxiety of being away from your pets and wondering if they are okay.
About: I have two dogs of my own, one dog is Bud who is a golden doodle 2 years old and 85 pounds. My other dog is Lola who is a yorkie 14 years old and 15 pounds. I have a lot of experience with all the ages and sizes of dogs as well as senior dogs. I have always grown up with pups in the house. My family has 2 teacup chihuahuas and 2 frenchies. I have taken a vet technician class, dog trainer class from Animal Behavior College (to train people to train dogs) and I assisted in a sniff test for dogs being certified for smelling certain drugs or illnesses. They eat better than I do (i cook dog healthy meals for them when i can), have more toys than I know what to do with for them, and I walk them regularly.

About: Your dog is not going to like it here. Your dog is going to LOVE it here. This isn’t just dog boarding; it’s a dog vacay. The yard is a like a dog park, with bushes to hide and seek in and plenty of room for zoomies. Dogs have access to a fully large, fenced yard and a large dog door to come inside as they feel the need, plenty of toys and a dog bed for lazy naps in every room. Two large yards are available and accessible to dogs that need more space or solitude. I am seasoned in all breeds, ages and temperaments. I have never had a dog come through my house that we don’t now share a special bond. Every fur baby is loved like my own and I will make them feel like they are part of my pack while they are in my care. Your dog will love to stay here and will be excited to come back. Ease your conscience knowing your dog is living its best life at dog camp while hopefully you are doing the same on vacation. Your dog's comfort and care are my first priority from the time we wake up and throughout the night. My schedule is your dog's schedule, and they are supervised the whole time they are with me. That being said, I can I take dogs as early as 5:30am, however pickup times are no later than 8pm. I’m sorry, I no longer have the exception to this rule. If I need to leave for any reason, they are either crated or in a dog proof room especially for dogs. My senior dog is welcoming to all. She is very good at picking up the tone of the dogs that stay with us and matches that energy. Her manners are on point, and she sets the best doggy example for others.
