“We interviewed three different people before choosing care for Woody’s first stay outside of our family. Woody is 3 years old, leash-reactive, a little naughty and stubborn at times, but overall a very sweet, playful, and affectionate dog. We specifically needed someone confident and experienced—someone who could comfortably handle a strong leash puller, stand firm with his stubborn streak, and not be intimidated by the behaviors we openly shared ahead of time. Bryan immediately stood out. From our initial conversations and the meet-and-greet a few months before the stay, it was obvious how comfortable and experienced he is with dogs. He approached Woody calmly and confidently, walked him on leash with ease, and demonstrated a handling style that instantly put us at ease. He also asked thoughtful questions about Woody’s behaviors that showed both understanding and competence in managing dogs with quirks and challenges. Bryan and Peggy have a wonderful setup for dog care: a secure fenced yard, a clean and comfortable home, and a quiet neighborhood with wide sidewalks and plenty of space for walks. One thing we especially appreciated is that they only care for one dog at a time, which is uncommon and was exactly what we needed for our Velcro dog. They also have several green spaces within walking distance, which we loved. At drop-off, Bryan took inventory of Woody’s belongings, reviewed my notes, asked thoughtful questions, and spent time playing with Woody in the yard to help him feel comfortable before we slipped out. It made for a calm, low-stress transition, and we were impressed by the level of care and attention he showed from the very beginning. Throughout Woody’s stay, Bryan sent daily updates with photos and videos, along with notes about Woody’s temperament and how he was doing. As nervous dog owners leaving him for the first time, we greatly appreciated the communication and reassurance. Over the course of the six-night stay, we could visibly see Woody becoming more comfortable and playful with Bryan—fetching balls, wagging his tail, smiling, and zooming around the yard. Overall, we would absolutely feel comfortable having Woody stay with Bryan again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for calm, confident, experienced dog care. Excellent communication and exceptional care from start to finish.”

About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I spent 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. The key is giving them time to warm up to a new environment, routine care and lots of affection. My own dog turns 15 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I spend the majority of my time at home, hanging out in the backyard and have a pretty flexible schedule. We’d go outside at least 5-10 times a day, always early in the morning and right before bed. I have a fenced yard on over an acre of land and lots of non-harmful plants that my dogs loves to sniff around. When the dogs are outside I will be right there with them enjoying the afternoon.

About: About me: I am a Project Engineer for a construction company, we a have a little boy and a baby on the way, and we LOVE animals! We have two beautiful horses, three wonderful dogs, and two cats. Eventually I would like to rescue a few farm animals and foster dogs. One thing that breaks my heart is seeing animals in the shelter or up for slaughter. I think every animal deserves a second shot at life and I wish I could take them all on. However I have saved a few horses from slaughter and retrained them to give them a promising future! Basically I work hard to give my animals and future animals a wonderful life! In HS I was an active FFA member which gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge from just horses, dogs, and cats to dairy cattle, goats, poultry, rabbits, and swine. I also worked for a large animal veterinarian for 2 years as a vet assistant and gained even more knowledge on how to properly care for ALL animals. Ranging from exotics, livestock, equine, dogs, and cats. So your Fur baby is in GOOD hands! At this time I am only accepting clients for drop in visits or house sitting (I do not stay the night). As we just welcomed a newborn baby into our lives. However I am available at all hours to take care of your pet needs! I look forward to working with you! I'm pretty much a home body. Animals r my life My days and nights are free. I am retired and live alone Cats r indoor only. Dogs on leashes whenever they go out (one at a time). When answering the door, I put them in my sewing room or in a kennel.

About: About me: I am a Project Engineer for a construction company, we a have a little boy and a baby on the way, and we LOVE animals! We have two beautiful horses, three wonderful dogs, and two cats. Eventually I would like to rescue a few farm animals and foster dogs. One thing that breaks my heart is seeing animals in the shelter or up for slaughter. I think every animal deserves a second shot at life and I wish I could take them all on. About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. I have a puppy of my own and have grown up with dogs my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and more have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, and play with them. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, mostly Pit Bulls, and have always been comfortable caring for and being around them. I also cared for my own dog for over a year after getting her when she was around 6 months old. She had a difficult past and had already had puppies at a very young age, so she needed extra patience, trust, and consistency. I worked with her and taught her basic commands, and she became very responsive to me. I’m currently available for pet care any day and at flexible times throughout the week. Starting August 31, I’ll be attending school Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Outside of those hours, I’ll still have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and other pet care needs. My school schedule is consistent each day, so I’m able to plan my availability reliably around it. I treat every pet in my care like they are my own. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. I make sure they are fed on their normal schedule, have fresh water, get their walks and exercise, and have plenty of playtime and attention. I also enjoy playing with their favorite toys and getting to know their personality and routine. I understand that some pets may take a little time to warm up to someone new, so I’m patient and let them get comfortable with me at their own pace.

“We interviewed three different people before choosing care for Woody’s first stay outside of our family. Woody is 3 years old, leash-reactive, a little naughty and stubborn at times, but overall a very sweet, playful, and affectionate dog. We specifically needed someone confident and experienced—someone who could comfortably handle a strong leash puller, stand firm with his stubborn streak, and not be intimidated by the behaviors we openly shared ahead of time. Bryan immediately stood out. From our initial conversations and the meet-and-greet a few months before the stay, it was obvious how comfortable and experienced he is with dogs. He approached Woody calmly and confidently, walked him on leash with ease, and demonstrated a handling style that instantly put us at ease. He also asked thoughtful questions about Woody’s behaviors that showed both understanding and competence in managing dogs with quirks and challenges. Bryan and Peggy have a wonderful setup for dog care: a secure fenced yard, a clean and comfortable home, and a quiet neighborhood with wide sidewalks and plenty of space for walks. One thing we especially appreciated is that they only care for one dog at a time, which is uncommon and was exactly what we needed for our Velcro dog. They also have several green spaces within walking distance, which we loved. At drop-off, Bryan took inventory of Woody’s belongings, reviewed my notes, asked thoughtful questions, and spent time playing with Woody in the yard to help him feel comfortable before we slipped out. It made for a calm, low-stress transition, and we were impressed by the level of care and attention he showed from the very beginning. Throughout Woody’s stay, Bryan sent daily updates with photos and videos, along with notes about Woody’s temperament and how he was doing. As nervous dog owners leaving him for the first time, we greatly appreciated the communication and reassurance. Over the course of the six-night stay, we could visibly see Woody becoming more comfortable and playful with Bryan—fetching balls, wagging his tail, smiling, and zooming around the yard. Overall, we would absolutely feel comfortable having Woody stay with Bryan again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for calm, confident, experienced dog care.
