About: I have two dogs ages 5 & 6, I trained both of them when they were puppies. Brewer and goose love other dogs but can also be kept separate if needed. I’ve taken care of family pets since I was young and enjoy playing with animals. I currently home full time with my two children. We pop out for go to classes in the evening but are usually home Monday -Friday. We live in 6 acres of fenced in yard. Lots of room to play and throw ball. Having traveled to Portland from San Diego to visit our toddler granddaughter, we were in a bind. About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!

I truly love animals and have dedicated my life to helping and caring for them and even plan on attending Vet School. I have fostered countless animals, both dogs and cats, as well as more than 35 bottle-fed kittens. I have experience with just about every kind of pet and even those that are senior or those with special requirements such as medications, special diets, and subcutaneous fluid and physical therapy. I have a great deal of experience with animal behavior and have worked with many difficult and even aggressive animals. I currently work on a full-time basis, so I will have plenty of time throughout the week and weekends to dedicate to caring for the most precious members of your family! I have done quite a bit of pet sitting work so I am very familiar with this experience. I am extremely respectful when I'm in my client's home and I remain conscious of the fact that it's your pet's home too and I'm respectful of their space as well. I strive to ensure that your pet continues to feel safe and cared for when I'm in their home. I perpetuate a quiet, calming presence which most animals respond to positively. I will do everything in my power to ensure your pet's wellbeing and happiness, while still accomplishing everything that has been asked of me by my client. About: Hello! My name is MaKenzie, I am 24 years old and I grew up around dogs my entire life so this is not something that is new to me! I have been watching animals since I was 16, and have always loved it. I have watched all different kinds of animals from pigs and chicken all the way to bunnies and reptiles. I live in a house with a great yard (unfenced) with my dog Mochi. My dog is a female Doberman who LOVES to play. Mochi is extremely energetic so we do play and walk a lot. If your dog is similar, and as energetic as Mochi, then this would be a great spot for them! I’m currently running dog/cat sitting as a full time business, so I have all the time in the world. I also work part time for another company with hours around 11am-1pm. Whenever dogs visit they get free roam of the house along with my pup! Dogs do remain on leashes when going outside as I don’t have a fence. Dogs are not allowed unattended outside at all.
About: From having family dogs since I was a kid, to being hired as a reccurring sitter and walker for years for many clients/friends, and now owning 2 dogs of my own, I’m constantly with a furry companion and I wouldn’t want to live any other way. I love being outside, especially with my pups, so if your dog needs to get out and roam on some adventures I’m always up for a walk or some fetch, rain (especially rain), or shine. I’m also a big fan of lap dogs no matter what shape or size so if your pooch is a bit of a home body, and just needs some belly rubs or someone to sit with and talk their ear off, I’m your guy. I work part time during the week, most often Tuesday-Thursday starting at 9 am. I can flex my schedule to meet your schedule if you need an early morning walk or pop in as well as afternoons and evenings Having 2 dogs ourselves, my wife and I are very aware of things like doors being left open, or food being reached. We are hyper vigilant when it comes to our dogs safety as well as others. We always leash our dogs!

Feeding times, walks, and rest periods stay on a steady schedule, and I’m always nearby to notice if something seems off.
