About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. About: I have had a plethora of dogs growing up all ranging from little Pomeranians to cattle driven Border Collies to Great big Danes! In my four years of pet experience, I worked with two Cane Corso’s training, walking, cleaning up all their drool, washing them, and overnight watching them from puppies together till I had to sadly leave them to come to school this year. I watched them everyday for 5+ hours, taking them on walks and always was willing to drive them to the mountains because I know how much they love the snow. I am willing to take your dogs anywhere to reach their maximum happiness and the 10,000 steps dogs need too! I am in the agriculture industry, and am strong enough and not afraid to deal with reactive and high energy dogs, since I have experience with both. I would love to see the adventures I can take your pets on! I am a student at the University of Idaho, but M/W/F before 8:30, and after 1:30 I am available to book any service! Tuesday’s I am free to give my undivided attention to any pup or cat! Usually my afternoons consist of homework and taking my own puppy on walks and to the park to play fetch. So taking care of animals and putting my time forward to pets is not second nature, it’s a routine! I make sure I keep my pup on a specific time of eating and walking during the week so she does not get stressed out or worried. I have a large dog crate in my home that can be used. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a large field behind me that me and a pet can go and play in. My house already has one pup who gets along with any type of dog and is very passive. About: I’ve been surrounded by cats for as long as I can remember. My mother was a cat lover, adopting 2 kitties before I was born and working at banfield pet hospital. Growing up, my chore was to feed our kitty. I also took care of street cats that came to the door with my mom. When I turned 17, I started volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter, where I gained more experience by socializing with cats for multiple hours at a time. About: My experience with dogs has ranged from personal ownership: (raised with two mixed breeds, and owned a WHIPPET for fourteen years), to boarding dogs, to working at a doggie daycare, and working for a dog walking company. About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life as well as caring for my own animals at home. I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. You will not find someone more passionate or empathetic about animals of any and all shapes and sizes. When people weren’t there for me, my animals were, and I have vowed to be there just the same for them. I am a strong creature of habit, and love a good structured routine to my day. About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life as well as caring for my own animals at home. I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. You will not find someone more passionate or empathetic about animals of any and all shapes and sizes. When people weren’t there for me, my animals were, and I have vowed to be there just the same for them. I am a strong creature of habit, and love a good structured routine to my day. About: I have 4 dogs of my own. My Mastiff and my little dashund mix are geriatric and spend their time on their orthopedic beds. My two younger dogs are a mini Aussie and golden retriever. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care.
