I have used Rachel on 3 occasions so far, from a few days up to two weeks at a time. For context, I have a 10# poodle & I have never let my dog spend the night anywhere before except with a couple close friends. I was apprehensive to try this service, but ran out of options one time when I had to fly out in an emergency. Now, this is my go to place. Rachel has a great place with fenced acreage, a couple school age children who are respectful with dogs. At times there are other dogs that she cares for at the same time, so it would be helpful if your dog is socialized well & then they have “friends” to play with. I couldn’t ask for anything better with Rachel’s service. My dog has to take meds & she is competent with all of that as well. She sends pics of your dog to you periodically if you’d like while you’re away to reassure you everything is great. She communicates well & asks questions if needed. If you are unable to take your dog with you, I would highly recommend Rachel & her service on Rover.com with anyone.”

About: I have many years of experience with dogs and cats through personal pet ownership and former employment as a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant. My husband and I have 6 spoiled dogs and two cats that we adore. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks in the park and throwing a tennis ball for some play and exercise. I I have experience taking care of senior dogs and blind dogs. Also some grooming experience through an on line course and 150 externship hours. I am currently working full time but have weekends off. I am available afternoons Monday through Friday and am currently providing nail trims on dogs and cats. About: I have 7 dogs, and 7 snakes, a pet rat and a pet bunny. I also have 4 children. I'm an active person who loves to work with animals. I have a wide range of animal experiences. I went to school and got my vet assisting certificate. My dogs enjoy playing in our fenced in yard and playing with the kids who are always excited. During the summer my dogs and I enjoy bikejoring and in the winter if there is enough snow we go dog sledding. I do offer training services if you have an active pup who needs a "job" to do. About: I treat dogs that our in my care like they are family. My mothers dog was my favorite fur baby, she knew when we went out to taco bell she would get her meat taco. On account she looked like the taco dog. I do miss that little angel. Mom called her "Little Bit" she was a Chihuahua. I've had many dogs over the years, any where from a small bread to a large type. I do remember my dad's dog well he was a sweet heart loved to be brushed. He was mixed breed of a black lab and Irish setter. I've also had a few cats in the past as well as birds. Rachel has a great place with fenced acreage, a couple school age children who are respectful with dogs. At times there are other dogs that she cares for at the same time, so it would be helpful if your dog is socialized well & then they have “friends” to play with. I couldn’t ask for anything better with Rachel’s service. My dog has to take meds & she is competent with all of that as well. She sends pics of your dog to you periodically if you’d like while you’re away to reassure you everything is great. She communicates well & asks questions if needed. If you are unable to take your dog with you, I would highly recommend Rachel & her service on Rover.com with anyone.”

“Norman absolutely loved Kaela and her family! She is super accommodating, she accepted us last minute and allowed me to adjust my drop off time. I got lots of updates and pics the whole time and he slept all the way to the campsite so I know he had a great time with the kids! She was so kind and understanding about my anxiety, which immediately put me at ease. Throughout my trip, she communicated consistently and sent photos, which made such a difference and helped me relax knowing my dog was in good hands.
