About: Busy with work or going on vacation? I am here to help. I am offering dog walking, house sitting, drop in visits throughout the day and anything else you may need. As a previous dog owner, I know how important your fur baby is to you. I will treat them and love them like they are my own. I am highly energetic and love to be around animals. I have worked at a vet clinic, handling all kinds of animals. I owned three dogs at once and trained them myself. One was a 120lb (all muscle on the big guy) chocolate lab X golden retriever and the other was a border collie x Shepard. So, I am familiar with large and highly active dogs. I am an animal lover and can't wait to assist you with yours. I am looking to spend quality time with your pets and facilitate the exercise they require. I am available at anytime throughout the day and night to better convenience you and your pup. If your fur baby is young and needs further training walking on the leash, I am more than happy to increase their training. Although I don't have a fenced in yard, I have a long leash outside and can walk them often. There is a park down the road too for a few games of fetch. I do have a cat in my home as well, Eddie. He is a beautiful boy but if dog sitting is what you require, they will never come into contact. He is good with dogs but I prefer to keep everyone safe rather than sorry! About: My partner and I are 2 active people who absolutely love dogs and regularly dogsit for our friends. Your pup will enjoy a cozy home and a spacious yard, a perfect place to play, relax and feel at home! On weekends, we are either working on the yard, out and about on local trails and beaches, or cozing it up at home. During the week, I work at a local school. I leave around 8 and come back at 3. My partner (who is also registered as a caretaker with Rover) works from home 3x/week. We are both active people. We’ll bring your pet on the adventure they need. It can be a beach walk, a forest hike, a short loop in the neighborhood or just a pee walk and some cuddles on the couch. Our backyard is not fenced and we live on the countryside. Depending on your comfort level and recall skills of your pet, there is lot of outdoor space to explore if they can be trusted. They could also be set up on a long leash if they need to with lots of space on the front yard. When hanging out inside, couches and beds are available for them, we dont mind if they want to get cozy. During the week, our schedule allows for walks in the morning and after work depending on your pet’s needs. Some work days, we are away for 6-8hours. Others (3x/week), my partner is here and will love having a work companion. On weekends, we would love to bring your dog on our adventures !

I also live in a house in East Sooke, close to many forest and seaside walking trails. My backyard is surrounded by nature, and I can easily secure a pet on a leash so they can safely enjoy the sun while I work outside beside them. If a pet’s routine is quite structured, I adapt my work and activity schedule to match it. Otherwise, I usually start the day with something active (running, walking, or hiking) and go for another walk in the afternoon. Since I work from home, pets always benefit from my company, whether I’m working indoors or outside. I’m also just a text or call away, and I love sending daily updates and photos to owners. Having a car makes me very flexible in case of an emergency.
