“Joanna is amazing! We knew when we met her that our dog would be in great hands. She's kind, caring, responsible, and our dog loved her. We were gone for two weeks and got photos and updates every day. It was obvious from the photos that our dog was relaxed, well cared for, and having a great time! We had a mishap with our travel and got stuck overseas for several days, and Joanna was kind enough to extend our dog's stay over Christmas and even took him on vacation with her. Our lucky dog clearly had a wonderful time with Joanna and we felt great leaving him in such good hands. We'll definitely rebook with her--I think our dog would be heartbroken if we didn't!”

“Jennifer was the perfect host for our furbaby while we took the daylong boat trip to Stehekin! We offered a higher daily rate because we would be gone for such a long period of time. She had good communication and was easy to work with. The home and yard are beautiful and located very close to downtown Chelan. The backyard is enormous and terraced with lots of fun levels. She sent pictures during the day, which were appreciated. Her dog, Miles, was a sweet and welcomed playmate to our dog all day. Highly recommend Jennifer if you need doggy daycare in Chelan! Everything was perfect.”

About: I've taken care of our family dogs, cats, pets, and farm animals since the age of 7. We're an animal lovers household here at Walk and Sit with Maggie. We specialize in small to medium dogs for drop-ins, walks, daycare, boarding, and sitting needs. When Maggie is not napping we walk in the morning between 6am and 9am. Lunch walks are from 11am to 2pm with evening adventures at 6pm to 11pm. At Maggie's home we are fully secure with video monitoring, garage play area, and fenced back yard. For additional exercise we leash walk at the park and visit off-leash areas. Customer approved adventures prior to travel.

About: I’ve always dabbled in pet sitting for the fun of traveling and meeting new breeds. Now that I’m semi - retired, I've discovered a new joy in providing care without the pressure of outside responsibilities. Having nowhere else to be means I can spend hours with your pets, letting them set the pace on our walks, and offering endless cuddles, allowing me to form trusted connections with every animal I watch. It is not that pet care fits into my life as much as pet care IS my life. It is breakfast, walk or read (depending on the species), groom, pet, games, naps, then dinner and repeat until bedtime. In follow the outline provided by the pet parent to work through the pet’s familiar daily routine. For dogs, I emphasize exercise and with cats, I emphasize stillness. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for awhile. I do have allergies with cats but have no problem with taking care them and loving them equally. I have worked with pets who have needed medication (not shots but willing to give them if properly shown how to), nutritional/physical needs, and senior animals.
