About: Hi, I'm Zora, and I am 19-year-old student who grew up in Mount Vernon. I am currently taking a gap year in Norway, and I am looking to do some pet care when I return home for the summer. During high school I was a dedicated leadership volunteer and a teacher aide at a preschool. I have a cat and a small dog and I love taking care of pets! I can stay at your house or just drop by when needed, and I can walk smaller dogs or calmer large dogs - I'm just not strong enough to handle super big dogs if they pull a lot when walking. As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”
