About: I have had and trained dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a Doberman and I’ve had multiple Rottweilers since then. I’ve also trained Staffies, Doodles, Pit Bulls, Labs, GSPs, Terriers and plenty of other breeds. I showed in 4-H for 12 years with my Dobie, a Staffy, three Rottweilers, and my dad’s deaf French Bulldog that I taught hand signals to. I have also showed in Rally, Obedience, Showmanship, and Confirmation through AKC since I was 9. My last Rottweiler, “Moxie” had almost 15 AKC obedience and companion titles by the time she passed away at 5 years old from lymphoma. I really enjoy working with reactive, aggressive, or headstrong dogs that are in need of a second chance though I am happy to train just about anything! I’ve also been housesitting and pet sitting intermittently since I got my license at 16! I am somewhat starting out when it comes to board and training so I don’t have a ton of reviews or referrals but I am hoping to build them here!! I work a couple of part time jobs as a barista where I take the dogs with me! I drive a VW Jetta TDI wagon and have mastered the technique to keep the car plenty cool during my shifts and I potty the dogs every two to four hours. I go on lots of hikes, frequent the beach, and have tons of toys to play with! I only work 5-6 hours at a time so I make sure to give them the enrichment they need before or after work. I have a studio mother-in-law style house with a large fenced backyard and crates/cots inside the house. If your dog is happy go lucky and laid back, they’ll be loose when I am home but when/if I’m not home, they’ll will be crated along with my dog. The house has fabulous ventilation and hasn’t ever been too hot during the summer or too cold during the winter. My dog is a very friendly four month old Rottweiler puppy. He is proofed around other dogs, cats, and children. I also frequently watch a 9 month old Rottweiler for a friend of mine. She is also proofed, and the most friendly, playful, and patient dog I have trained. I have the facilities to keep them apart upon request and they will never be left together unattended.
“Sheri did a great job taking care of my German Shepard. I really liked that she sent pictures and told me what she was up to during the day. She was also really flexible with my schedule and had a nice backyard for Adal to play. Her other dog was very nice too. ”

“Was in a huge crunch, time wise, and Morgan stepped up and delivered big time. She is personable, responsible, diligent and ridiculously willing (in a great way) to ensure my pets were well cared for and my mind was able to focus on my travels, and eased. Morgan sent daily pics of my pets that showed they were growing more accustomed to her twice-daily visits. She followed directions to the tee and even went beyond what was asked. Of course I’ve already booked her again! Thank you, Morgan!!!”

“She went above and beyond to help out with not only my animals but my garden too! Her communication was excellent and she was kind and genuine. So grateful I found a great sitter!”

“Karlee was the sweetest and most caring cat sitter! Every drop-in visit had a loving note and many photos, so I could really tell she cared for my cat. She was very responsive with communications as well. As a Rover cat sitter myself, I was quite impressed and felt better on my first trip away knowing that my cat was in good hands.”

“Karolina was available with somewhat short notice, which really helped us out. She was very responsive and sent just the right number of photos of our little guy to show us how he was doing. We will definitely keep her in mind for future weekend getaways!”

About: I’ve had cats for around 5 years and around for 7+. I’ve cared kittens and older cats, including supervision of kitten litters. I understand that every cat has a different personality, and routines are very important to them, however, cats are so much fun to get to know and be around!
“Hayli was kind of the best ever! The kitties are kinda shy sometimes, but she handled everything like an absolute boss. I got to have a trip in which my concerns were not centric to the well being of my cats. She medicated, fed, and hung out with them just like they were her own. Sent us pictures of them and our frogs, and in general was just the best. I will 100% Book with her again!”

About: Since I was 8, I have known how to care for cats. I grew up raising cats and kittens. At 22, I helped rescue a kitten for my mom and nephew. She is fully grown and healthy now. Cats need activity and play to entertain them.
“Heidi went above and beyond to make sure our beloved pets were taken care of and safe. I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a great pet sitter! She did an outstanding job staying in communication with us and giving us the piece of mind that our animals were well looked after. We will definitely be hiring her again the next time we travel and so should you!”

I have dog sit for my neighbors dog a few times, and another family’s dog as well. I just graduated from NAU, so I am very available this summer. Weekdays as well as weekends! I am only in Flagstaff until the end of July. Making sure if it’s a gated house, that the gate is closed when supposed to be. Making sure the pet is not getting into anything it shouldn’t be.

About: In the years that I have cared for cats I have dealt with a wide variety of situation. I have had cats that love to play and some that just like to relax. I have no problem cleaning up messes or the litter boxes. I have given cats baths and trimmed nails. I can give them their medicine.

I don't think he even missed his things, given how well her place is set up for dogs. The big, fenced back yard is a dream!”

About: Owned and cared for pets, which were mostly dogs & cats (but also snakes, rabbits, a chicken, etc., my entire life . Currently have one neutered male who loves a playmate to chase around the yard. Currently working part-time so I’m fully available to pamper your pets on my days off. It's becoming a very nice routine that decreases everyone's anxiety at my house!”

About: Growing up around a large quantity of dogs taught me very quickly what they need. I have never not had a dog or cat in my life, and I understand that pets are family. I already go on daily walks and am used to feeding my dog so the needs of other pets would fit very easily into my life. I have one very friendly dog, a fenced yard, and extra leashes/ a crate if needed. I live near parks and in a very walkable area so your pup will get plenty of exercise!

“Kayla has done a fabulous job. I had a knee replacement surgery and the next day after I asked her for help. She has walked my dog every single day for a half an hour. She is prompt. He is happy when he comes back and she sends me a few pictures every day. I feel confident that she can handle my 70 pound dog even if he sees a rabbit.”

About: I have taken care of just about every type of animal since I was young (dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hedgehogs, gerbils, snakes, etc.) I've trained and raised several puppies and kittens. The majority of the animals in my life were adult animals and if they were family pets, they stayed with us until it was time to cross the rainbow bridge so I also have a fair amount of experience with senior care as well. I grew up with no less than 4 animals in the house at all times, so I'm very good with multiple-pet households, but I currently live in a household with only one dog, so I am also comfortable doting on just one at a time :) I am currently available 24/7 and this is my primary career! I am happy to care for your fuzzy friends and family any time of day or night, their set schedule becomes my own! :3 I really believe every pet is different and taking into account their personality, energy, as well as their history or needs is very important. I like to give pets loads of attention if they are the type that likes attention, or I'm happy to just sit and read a book with them if they are more the sleepy type. I don't believe in leaving dogs in yards unattended, and I am a very communicative person-- I am not afraid to ask questions or clarify things I may not be sure of.
About: I have experience working with senior pets, disabled animals, and puppys. My skills include but are not limited to administering meds and shots, feeding, walking, observing body language and basic training. I am currently going to college, I'm not working at the moment. I have a break from college till September so I have a bit of free time. Shoot me a message and we'll figure out a time! While watching pets at your home I am very diligent about keeping an eye on your animal(s) if I see anything that's out of the norm and/or a cause for concern I will contact you immediately.
“Heidi was great! She accepted a very last-minute request and asked great questions about Nova. She arrived early to meet her and be sure Nova would feel comfortable with her. Heidi brings great knowledge and professionalism to her work. Will call her again!”
