About: I grew up with a golden retriever and had a Heeler mix for 16 years that traveled cross country with me. I’ve got great experience with elderly dogs and young dogs alike. My fiancé and I are home quite a bit with fenced yard, but love to hike in the area to make sure dogs get all the exercise they need! I have mornings off, so plenty of time for walks and hikes. My fiancé is a ski coach with summers off and is home most of the day to hang with the dogs. I have a fully fenced yard to play in with plenty of sunshine. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). About: I grew up with a golden retriever and had a Heeler mix for 16 years that traveled cross country with me. I’ve got great experience with elderly dogs and young dogs alike. My fiancé and I are home quite a bit with fenced yard, but love to hike in the area to make sure dogs get all the exercise they need! I have mornings off, so plenty of time for walks and hikes. I have a very flexible schedule where I live and work from home and adjust my schedule to suit them. Nature calls and when it does, time to go! Also, when they need extra attention of a little hug or extra treat, it's about mind reading in a way, and I love trying to figure out their little brains! Most people and their pets have a routine. That's important. It's about communication and understanding the basic needs in life. Also, most importantly how many beds they get to have! Rules are rules and happy to follow any that come along. My house is flexible as there is literally nothing they can hurt or damage that cannot be easily replaced or fixed. Although my goal is to wear them out where they only need some treats, love and a nice soft bed from the start of the morning until they are out for the count.
