Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”

About: I have had dogs and cats nearly all of my 36 years. I have experience with walking and caring for dogs from 5 lbs to 150 lbs. I began by walking dogs at a local humane society, then on to becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I absolutely love dog sitting and I have the skills to administer medications. Currently I facilitate small enriched dog play groups during the day and in the evening I provide private dog training. I am just as comfortable working with giant breeds as I am with the tiniest. About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.

About: I’ve taken care of family and neighborhood pets since I was in middle school and people in my neighborhood have come to rely on me to check in on their pets regularly. About: I adopted my first dog around 7 years old. Since then I have raised, rescued, fostered, and sat for all sizes and breeds for the last 30 years. I am a full time dog walker and pet sitter. My schedule is flexible. I would love to be best friends with your furry family members! I prefer to watch your pets in the comfort of their own home. I have a fenced yard, and we can try a meet and greet, but my older dog has gone blind and is not as accepting of new dogs as he once was.
About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind my whole life. I have also taken care of cats and even farm animals such as goats, pigs, turkeys, chickens, rabbits and ducks I am currently working part-time. I will have plenty of time to play with your animals. I am always willing to visit once a day on weekdays and weekends if needed I am currently not accepting any at home ( my home) care as I live in an apartment and am unsure of how my cat will do with other animals

“Our worried whippets had a wonderful first stay with Margaret! Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”

“I think this will be the easiest 5 star review I’ve ever written. Scott took incredible care of our dog, Tucker. He kept him for several days while we were out of town visiting family. Scott made sure to set up a time for us to visit him and his partner, Kevin, at their home and give Tucker a chance to meet their sweet boy, Nico. They became instant play buddies. Scott asked very detailed questions about Tucker’s habits and tendencies and made sure to write down every detail. Within just a few minutes, we knew we had found the right people to care for our boy. Scott sent us pics and videos throughout our time away. We will definitely be using his services again.”
