“Elizabeth is great! Frankie has stayed with them twice now and she has such a good time with them. Elizabeth sends lots of pics with updates - so nice! Will always book with them when needed!!!!”

“Lauren was the BEST! Very loving, good humored & flexible when r plans had to change. We’re definitely going to use her again. She was great about providing almost daily reports & pix on our dog”

“Nancy managed my Sammi's separation anxiety with calm compassion and gentle patience - and after a long first night, Sammi settled in and was clearly calm and relaxed when I picked her up 5 days later!! Nancy sent me pictures and kept in touch also alleviating my separation anxiety as well :-) I can't say enough nice things about Nancy's care. She treated Sammi like family and I know now I have another home for Sammi to stay when I travel!”

“Ashley is our favorite—Joni’s and mine. She so incredibly competent, she has this knack for taking the best in-motion and candid pics of Jo (and then sending them to us right when we need a fix) and her property is Jo’s favorite place on earth I’m pretty sure. We’re big fans.”

“Peter took lots of pics and gave me lots of updates on how my dog was doing. It looks like she got lots of love and was happy in every pic. Plus he has super sweet dogs for your dog to play with. I would use Peter and his family as dog sitters again.”

“Pickle didn't want to leave because he had so much fun! Casie was very knowledgeable about dogs and took great care of our boy. She even gave him a bath because he was so muddy from playing all week. Would definitely recommend her to anyone and would definitely use her services again.”

“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”
“Our kitty was cared for and we received frequent pictures and communication from Kyah! It allowed our family to fully enjoy our trip. Kyah will be our first choice always! Also, kitty is just as kind and loving as when we left him in the care of Kyah. He may even be a better kitty…says a lot of how well he was nurtured!”

“Carolyn was referred to me by a friend who had a great experience with her and I couldn't have been more pleased! She was amazing with my girls and sent me pictures throughout their stay which I loved. Highly recommend her!”

“Matthew was great! This was my first time leaving my Aussie with anyone. It was a two day trial run to see how he reacted being away from me and home for any length of time. He did great! Matthew was very thorough in gathering as much information about my dog, likes, dislikes, daily schedule, etc. Matthew’s home was very clean and roomy. Matthew sent me updates and pictures throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend Matthew to others.”

“Jared and Rhonda are fantastic and I look forward to booking with them again, this was the best first Rover experience we could have asked for! Jared is great with dogs who are slow to warm up, which was important to me when searching for a dog sitter. Our pup is very anxious but I felt comfortable knowing she was in a loving and calm environment. Jared’s communication is top notch, we appreciated the frequent updates and photos. I would not hesitate to recommend!”

“Ali and her family (and Pepe!) are so great with our dog Hazelnut. I appreciate all the communication and pictures provided during the stay and our dog always comes back a happy pup!”

“Cathleen was so good with our Labrador - super loving, gentle and diligent. Our dog was very happy and tired when he got home, and we could tell he had been well cared for in Cathleen’s home. We would absolutely book her again!”

“Pam and Jon are amazing! We did a meet and greet beforehand to make sure Max and Stevie were comfortable together and go over the basics. They have a great set up for dogs and clearly prioritize taking care of their visitor dogs. Max is still learning to be good on a leash and they were really comfortable working with that. They sent lots of photos! Max was clearly loved and well cared for. Highly recommend Pam, Jon and Stevie.”

“Anna was extremely responsive and sent us lots of photos throughout our dog’s stay. We felt very comfortable with her watching our pup and will certainly use her again for future sitting needs.”
“James is very easy to work with. He provided great care to my girl with frequent updates. There’s no better peace of mind than knowing your fur baby is in good hands while you’re away.”

“We were so happy that Atlas had a great time! Cara kept us updated with pictures and videos. She asked questions if she felt she needed to and Atlas had so much fun he's just slept since he got home (for an Irish Setter, this is a big deal! They're always going! ). We will 100% be working with Cara again, and Atlas cannot wait to go play with both of the Junipers again.”

“Kristi and her family were absolutely AWESOME with my dog, Gecko. Kristi took her on so many walks and sent a bunch of great photos of play time and adventures. I loved how much fun they seemed to be having together and Gecko came home happy, healthy, and hilariously tired from her vacation! I will (and have) absolutely book with Kristi again. Such a great experience!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, and am currently a dog mom to my wonderful fur baby. Throughout the years I have been entrusted to go to peoples houses and care for their dogs, take care of dogs in my own home, and have even been entrusted to care for newborn puppies until they were old enough to go to their homes. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, and I absolutely love any opportunity to meet all kinds of new furry friends and personalities!

“Once again, Lisa provided has exceeded our pet care expectations. Lisa takes the time with each visit to ensure our two indoor kitties are well taken care of. What's best about her visits is that Lisa takes the time to bond and connect with each one. With each visit, Lisa is sure to keep in touch with updates and photos of our kitties, DJ and Olive! While the two were happy to see us upon return from the week long trip, they were relaxed and not anxious at all. Thanks again Lisa, your the best!”

About: I have owned cats most of my life. I adopted a 2.5 year old tuxedo from the humane society about 8.5 years ago and recently lost her to cancer. I’m not ready to adopt another, so I’d love to spend time and love on yours!
About: I have years of experience petsitting and housesitting for family and friends. I love working with dogs of all sizes and enjoy caring for cats as well. I have experience volunteering as a dog-walker at Blue Mountain Humane Society and enjoy making fast friends with pets of all personalities. I also have a B.A. in Biology. I have a calm, gentle, and caring approach and I'll make sure your animal family members are safe and happy and your home is looked after with care while you're away. I am a recent college graduate with a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide pet care. I am looking to provide short-term petsitting, housesitting, and dog walking services. I am a reliable pet and house sitter who is happy to provide drop-in visits or extended care for your pets in your home as well as dog-walking. I am currently renting and cannot have pets in my own space so I look forward to giving your pets lots of care and attention.

“Bevin left my house clean and tended, all linens washed and replaced, the garden watered and, most importantly, one kitty happy and well cared for. Alister obviously had lots of love and attention showered on him and I feel quite confident that if anything had gone wrong he would have received any care he needed. He's actually showing me when in the day he got love and snuggles, when he had playtime, and he's trying to tell me he had treats any time he asked - but I don't believe that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bevin as a pet sitter, and will hire her again.”

“Chantelle was so kind and attentive. She was attentive to my cat, Chiari, provided updates, and played with her. I’m so grateful for her help and care. Definitely would recommend booking with her!”

“Mary-Elizabeth is extremely kind and has been a wonderful companion to our cat, Beau. She takes time to play with him when we need to leave town, and he always rushes to her when she visits. So happy to have found such a great sitter!”

“Dawn came to our rescue for a second time recently, when we needed a last-minute walk and feeding. Our boy was happy and in great spirits when we came home, and Dawn updated us with many photos so we knew he was well taken care of :)”

“While staying in Port Ludlow, we left our pup Lucy with Lauren for an afternoon while we played golf nearby. Her communication in making arrangements was great, and Lucy had a great stay. Thanks!”
“Andrea and Bryce have been the kindest and most accommodating sitters. Their dog has been very sweet and friendly with my puppy and they were fast friends in no time! They took lots of photos and sent updates throughout the day which really eased my mind and confirmed my pup was in the best of hands. I’m new to the area, and even when they weren’t able to sit for my pup due to schedule conflicts, they recommended another trusted sitter and went above and beyond in helping me out. I feel so fortunate to have found a safe and loving family to take care of my puppy, and I can’t rec them enough!”

“So grateful to have found Brooke! She was accommodating and welcoming for our first visit. Her home, big yard, and access to the beach are a pup’s paradise. She did a great job learning the somewhat complicated set of dog obedience cues that we use. Our lovable but anxious dog had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!”

“Zara had a wonderful first time visit with Stacey and River & Birdie. Stacey made her feel comfortable around the bigger dogs and she loved the one-on-one attention from Stacey. My pup was happy and tired when I picked her up. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Storm loves coming here when we're in town and I'm pretty sure zi and her pup feel the same way about storm. Always huge smiles and quick tail wags when they see each other. Always contact her first when in the area, highly recommend.”

“Super grateful Gargi was able to watch my pup last minute when I went into work this week. I appreciate all the updates in realtime she provided as well. Gargi’s dog, June, and mine became instant pals! By the end of the day I can tell she had fun playing and got some exercise in. Thank you Gargi and June!”

About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.

“Cathleen is a kind and compassionate animal lover! She’s great with my Buggs! They’re an adorable mess and she is charmed by them in the best of ways!”

“Cathleen was so friendly and helpful- taking care of our pups with just a few day's notice when we wanted to visit the island. She made Vivi and Bijou feel comfortable and at home- as evidenced by the photos of them relaxing and snoozing without a care. We were so glad to find her and wouldn't hesitate to have our pups stay with her again.”

“My dog came home happy and healthy! I was sent some pictures and a video while he was there and it helped my anxiety about boarding him for the first time! Karissa and her fiance were both really nice and accommodating! Would definitely book again!”

“Our little old dog Rocket just spent her first day at Jill & Jacob’s place. They sent several photos and it was clear she was happy and well cared for. I see lots of visits in her future!8”

“I would say my M enjoyed her stay with Jenny. The communication was great, she followed all our instructions and did a good job with our doggie. I'm looking forward to M's next daycare with Jenny!”

“Super appreciative of Sheena watching our dog for the first time on such short notice. She kept us posted and gave us a great recap of what the day looked like for our pup.”

“Thanks to Cara we had a wonderful first-time experience on Rover. Yoshi did his first Rover doggy day care and he had a blast. Cara took great care of him and her little girls took to Yoshi. He came home and promptly passed out. Expecting a lot more play dates in the near future. It's awesome to find another Corgi Mom. Thank you, Cara, for welcoming Yoshi into your home. We loved the photos you sent to us throughout the day and hope to add more memories.”

“Karl was a great host for our 6 month old puppy who needed lots of interaction with people. He worked with our schedule and made sure Albie felt at home from the moment he was dropped off to pick up. The whole family interacted with Albie, giving a balanced amount of play vs rest so I picked up a happy calm puppy.”

“Watson had a fantastic time with Alexandria and her pups. She did a great job at sending updates and photos throughout the day, and I felt very confident in leaving my little guy in her care. Would 10/10 recommend!”

About: Hello Pet Owners- I am a guy living in Shoreline. I am trying to come away from a 30 year career and work my way into a quiet, peace-filled retirement. Hopefully one filled with wonderful dogs. I have owned dogs virtually all of my life. They are my children, and are treated as such. I care deeply about them, their welfare, and their happiness. Over the years I have dealt with medications, blind dogs, cancer, three legged dogs, and wheelchair dogs like Gracie. My current dog, MoMo is sweet as pie, but quite lonely, and wants a few new companions. I live in Shoreline, and access two different dog parks for exercise and social activity. I drive a new pick-up truck so your dog will ride in comfort. I have both Venmo and PayPal, to make payments electronic and easy for everyone. I also have a fully fenced yard, if you and your dog are searching for warm, comfortable overnight accommodations. Please reply and we’ll discuss arrangements, rates, and build a system of comfort and exercise for your dog. I am trying to retire, which for me, involves lots of time with dogs. So I am readily available to care for your pets in a daily, weekly, or whatever basis works with your schedule. My dog, and so yours as well, will be well attended to. I don’t allow dogs on the furniture, and I prefer to not use cages, but am happy to if your dog is used to or prefers that type of structure to be comfy. I have plenty of dog beds for comfort, I use all naturally made and healthy dog treats. I have a fully fenced yard which is occasionally visited by brave squirrels, so activity and amusement is plentiful. There are a number of toys, ropes, balls, bones and other chew toys for those dogs who simply need some time to chew and think about life in general. Dogs are put out when they need it, and let in when it’s time to nap. Just as it should be.
About: I have been taking care of dogs from a very young age, and I have been a professional sitter and boarder for a little over 3 years now. I recently moved to the area and am looking to rebuild my clientele. I am an animal advocate who has spent a lot of time volunteering with different agencies to help find forever homes for abandoned fur babies, and working for programs that went out and helped the homeless get the right care for their pets. I have experience with hyper pets, shy pets, large and small. I love them all the same. Let me spoil your babies while you’re away, and take comfort in knowing that they are safe and loved with me. I am currently an online student and doing a part time work from home job, so I will be home and available for them all day besides appointments or errands I have a large fenced yard that I make sure to walk the perimeter of to make sure there are no escape points. I also have a huge deck for them to lounge on and they have free roam of my home. I do have a toddler in the home, she is very shy with animals and has grown up learning the importance of being gentle and nonintrusive with them.

“Mary-Elizabeth is such a sweetheart, and such a professional. On short notice, she not only made time for a walk but made it a priority to make time to meet with us first. She put us at ease, and I feel confident that our pup enjoyed her presence. Thank you!”

“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”

“Leah is SO wonderful! She really helped me out on short notice. She is a great communicator, and helped feed my dog after his walk!! You’re in good hands with her. Thank you so much Leah for your help again!”

I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. Any time, currently I am unemployed and am taking classes online, so as long as I get a heads up I will be able to do whatever you need! I have a fenced place in a family and pet friendly neighborhood. I will figure out what else can be dog-proofed and to make sure that they is nothing they can get into.

“Elizabeth is great! Frankie has stayed with them twice now and she has such a good time with them. Elizabeth sends lots of pics with updates - so nice! Will always book with them when needed!!!!”

“Pickle didn't want to leave because he had so much fun! Casie was very knowledgeable about dogs and took great care of our boy. She even gave him a bath because he was so muddy from playing all week. Would definitely recommend her to anyone and would definitely use her services again.”

“Cynthia was really communicative and flexible with my schedule. She also provided a great place for my curious dog to explore and play, so he seemed really happy with his stay.”

“Sarah took in our 3 cats for over a week while we vacationed. She was really attentive and patient with their different needs (including meds) and personalities, slowly introducing them to her household - both the physical space and her dog Odin who is very friendly but calm around cats. One cat even made friends with him. Sarah also made dropoff and pickup very easy, with all the cats and their things packaged up and waiting when I arrived. It was a pleasure interacting with her. Highly recommend Sarah!”

“Boarding our dog with Erin gave us a ton of peace of mind during holiday travel, and she was so great about sharing regular updates and photos of our dog’s stay. I was actually worried our dog wouldn’t want to come home after having the time of his life with Erin 🤣”

“Conor was great with our pup! He came home happy and tired! Conor worked with Loki on a lead, as he has always been a stronger puller, and we are very impressed by the effort and time he put in to care for our pup. We definitely recommend Conor's services.”

“Theresa and her family kept our dog while we were on a long trip and treated him as if he was one of their own. She also kept in good communication with me throughout the time. We would highly recommend her for dog boarding.”

“This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter for our dog, Apollo. Tyler was the best person we could have asked for. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell. Apollo looked like he had the best time. We'd love to have him stay with Tyler again the next time we need a dog sitter.”
