“Kris was AMAZING. She was so flexible, so knowledgeable and caring, and I could tell that she took the best care of Cookie! Cookie came home happily exhausted from playing at her home, and we will absolutely book a stay with Kris next time we’re in the area!!”

“Lenore was great, she was very attentive and sent us lots of videos of our dog playing with hers. She took our dog on lots of walks and played fetch with hers in the backyard. Her dog was also very friendly and played lots with ours, would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a pet sitter!”

“Lisa and her daughter took wonderful care of my anxious chihuahua! During Fin’s stay, they took her to the park and gave her so many snuggles! We will be booking with her again! 🩷🐾”

“Trinity did a great job of looking after our senior blind/diabetic dog. Kept us informed on how she was doing. She had no problems with her special feeding schedule and giving her the insulin injection.”

“Leslie provided an excellent boarding experience for our Frenchie, Kahi. My husband and I are always nervous to leave Kahi, but this time we felt more at ease knowing she was in great hands with Leslie. Leslie welcomed Kahi into her home and was knowledgable of what Kahi needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was diligent to provide daily updates and pictures. The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. We trusted Kahi was safe with Leslie which allowed us to enjoy our vacation. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Susan took wonderful care of our two pups. It was their first time being cared for outside our home, so we appreciated her daily pictures of their time with her. They came back home happy and healthy! Thanks, Susan!”

“Shannon was GREAT! She was kind, and great communication. Took great care of our dog. She sent so many pics and updates. You can tell she’s a huge dog lover, our dog was immediately attached to her. Will definitely ask her to watch our doggo again, thanks shannon 😀”
“I have to be honest, I was hesitant to leave my two best friends with a complete stranger. Addison didn’t feel like a stranger within 5 seconds of meeting him in person. Him and his family took such great care of my boys, and put my mind completely at ease while I was out of town for Christmas. Daily pictures and check-ins were sent to me unprompted, which I could not have been more appreciative of. Rover, I’m not sure if you read these reviews, but you have a gem in your hands with Addison. I will 100% be using Addison’s services in the future. Great guy, great family, and a great disposition around dogs.”

“Kendra was phenomenal with my our dog! We've used her services on another vacation about a year ago, and our dog definitely remembered! Clear communication with regular updates and photos. 10/10!”

“My dog was so Happy, and she seems better behaved at the park, she plays with other dogs which she never did before. We are so happy, I feel like her anxiety is gone about other dogs. Chelsea is now our go to for a dog sitter. We are so happy with our dogs experience! Thank you Chelsea”

“Michelle has been an exceptional sitter for our standard poodle. He enjoys daily park visits, swimming and lots of cuddles. It’s definitely a treat when our baby gets to stay with Michelle. Michelle is the kindest caretaker we have come across. She sends many pictures and videos to assure you that your baby is happy. We are return clients and happy for her services. She is reliable and flexible when emergencies arise. Thank you Michelle, you’re the BEST!!!”

“The best dog minder ever. Our Toby loves playing with Archie and gets excited when I mention going over to stay with him. Holly has become almost family to us. Very reliable, friendly.”

About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)
About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a kid. I come from a family full of pet lovers and have lived with several animals in our house ever since I was little. I’ve raised and cared for both puppies and kittens to even taking care of senior pets and their need. I’ve pet-sat for friends, neighbors, and family ever since I was around 10 years old. I love animals and it is truly my passion to work with animals! I’m currently unemployed and on summer vacation from college so I have almost perfect availability and more than enough time to make your pets happy!☺️ I live in a pet friendly apartment, with a safe huge grass and forested area for pets to play and use the restroom. I am open to meeting any needs for a pet that their owners instruct. Anything from required feeding times, more frequent potty breaks and walks, and even giving medications to animals as well!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.
“Rachel and her husband are amazing, compassionate people. They took amazing care of Peanut, giving him lots of love and cuddles and helping him run his little heart out in their huge yard. They have an amazing doggy paradise! I got lots of adorable updates and Peanut and Winter got along great :) would 100000% leave Peanut with them again!”

About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.
“My wife and I would highly recommend Kristyn as your dog sitter! Our golden retriever Mariner loved her time there with the hikes and runs and playing with her new doggie friends. Great responsiveness and we really appreciated the pictures and videos. We've already booked her again!”

“Meghan was great! She was very responsive to messages and went the extra mile to let us know how our cats were doing while we were away for a few days. When we returned, the kitties seemed well taken care of and in good spirits. Highly recommend.”

“Maddy connected with our kitties immediately and did a great job of carrying out the requested duties. But on top of that she showed a passion and love for animals that we and our cats felt and appreciated. We’ll definitely be using Maddy’s services again!”

“Gabrielle says she will "treat your pet like family." She certainly does! She gave our little dog plenty of attention and care, including just hanging out with her during the visits. We highly recommend Gabrielle as a pet sitter, and she also took care of some other chores and made sure our Gekko had water, etc.”

“Rene did a great job taking care of my two cats while I was out of town for the weekend! I felt they were in good hands and received updates and pictures from the visit. Thank you Rene!”

“I am deeply grateful for all the love and care Paulina gave to my quirky cat, Katie, during the time I was away. I loved the way Paulina approached Katie gently in the beginning to let her get to know her, and somewhere in the middle of the time I was away, they were snugging together (and her photos were wonderful in letting me know things were going this well). Superb and thoughtful care. Thank you, Paulina!”

“Lizz took great care of our grumpy cat, Sam. She reliably showed up each day. We are very happy with how Lizz interacted with our cat and will definitely use Lizz in the future. An overall great experience.”

“Madelyne went above and beyond taking care of my cat. She exceeded my expectations, as well as sent me daily text messages, videos, and pictures of my precious Julia. 10 out of 10 stars for sure. I highly recommend her if you want your pet more than well taken care of. ❤️❤️I’ll definitely use her again.”

“Camille was wonderful with our cat. I really appreciated the thoughtful pictures she sent as well. She left detailed reports and I knew our cat was in good hands. She even helped bring in several packages that had arrived. Definitely would recommend.”

“Adrianna was so good with my cat Iroh. He's a shy/picky guy and warmed up to her very quickly. She was also very communicative and shared plenty of pictures :)”

“Jewel has been fantastic both times she's watched our cats. She gives great visit summaries and lots of photos - I super appreciate this! Great communication, she goes above and beyond! She's our go to sitter!”

“Havana took great care of our cats and she was very attentive to the details including medications, water, food and litter needs. We'd be happy to contact her in the future.”

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!
“Lia always takes such good care of our cat, Whisk! Whether she’s watching her for one day or one week, Whisk is always excited to see Lia stop by. She cares about Whisk’s routines and likes and dislikes. So trustworthy and sweet with our cat!”

“Our cats love Azure SO MUCH! She is reliable to take care of them and they feel comfortable around her. Our cat Raylan might even love her more than us! She is considerate and even brought in packages that we had when it was raining.”

“Flannery is great! She kept us fully updated each visit and sent several pics. She was able to even get our very shy cat to warm up to her! We will definitely use her services to care for our cats in the future.”

About: I have had many years of working with multiple cats at once as well as cats with medication needs! I am very comfortable with high maintenance animals, and know that cats especially can be very particular. I have cared for cats that need litter cleaned daily because there are so many of them, as well as cats who need litter cleaned immediately after use so they dont go elsewhere in the house. Whatever your pets needs, Ill be there to take care of it.

“Taylor is a very communicative, enthusiastic, and attentive cat and house sitter. She provided lots of photos and updates throughout her stay, and we came back to a tidy home and happy cat. We will be booking with Taylor again if we can!”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“Kris is so wonderful! I had a very last minute change of plans and she was able to host my pup the next morning. 3 acres of fenced yard is just heaven for dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup there! Their little Rosie and my pup Freyja played so much and I got to take home a veryyyyyy exhausted puppy after a long day of work. I will DEFINITELY be going back.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Addison! He was friendly and communicative during pickup, drop off, and during care. When I picked up I could tell Puck had a wonderful time and Addison shared fun stories about his day. I'm planning to use him as a regular sitter for my pup!”

About: I have spent most of my life around dogs. As an only child my siblings were two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. As an adult I have always had at least one dog in the house and more often than not two. They are my babies, my best friends and my companions. I am currently a high school teacher which allows me to have the summer free to spend with my critters as well as yours. I am almost always available at least until August. When spending a day with me and my own fur babies your companion will have access to a backyard. Get at least one good outing/run in and have two medium sized playmates to keep them entertained. I also have the ability to crate your friend if need be.
About: I’ve taken care of pet cats, dogs, and reptiles since I was 8 y/o, taking care of animals has been my passion since I was younger. I work at Puget Hound and am a full time student at Western. I am available whenever I am not at those two places. :) I take care of my pets the way I would want to be treated as an animal. I listen to the animals needs and will provide them what they need whether it be food/water, a walk, or a cuddle.

About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.

About: I’m a big animal lover! I’ve had plenty of pet sitting jobs before and I’ve grown up in a house full of pets as well. I’m currently working full time but I will be transitioning into working part time soon in order to finish my BA online. So my availability will open up a lot more! I live in a pet friendly apartment, with cats, dogs, and even reptiles. We are just walking distance from parks and the waterfront for walking needs. Our house is quiet and we keep a tidy home, mainly because my partner and I like to clean all the time.
“Avielle was easy to communicate with and her dog Toby is super friendly and immediately went into play mode with Sprocket. She kept me updated with pictures and text throughout the day and when we picked up Sprocket we was all tuckered out from playing all day. Thanks Avielle, would happily have you watch him again!”

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. I understand that it is a deep honor to afford them the freedom and attention they deserve and I dont take the responsibility lightly.
“Arilynn is 10/10!! I needed a sitter within the out and she was available, I was so thankful. She kept me updated on how my dog was doing and was attentive to my dog’s special needs (arthritis) and my requests for her care. Thank you so much!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. I live in an apartment so | don't have a yard for your pup to play in but I'll take your dog on walks very often and I personally take my dog to the dog park very regularly and would love to take yours too if you'd like.
About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, and I am a responsible cat owner. I work at home and will be available to give your pet the care they deserve :) I work from home, so I am very flexible. I can come to your place, your pet can be housed at mine, or I can come walk your dog at odd hours of the day. I have a 2-bedroom apartment to myself, and I currently have a sweet cat named Trufflepig who is 3 and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can easily be separated if your pup or kitty doesn’t like other animals. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly with a park close by and a fenced in yard a block away where your dog can run.
About: I have either owned or cared for someone else’s pet my entire life. I have extensive experience and enthusiastic affection for all dogs and cats and would be so happy to help provide support for your pet so they can live their best life! I am currently home full-time so my schedule is very flexible and usually revolves around getting my own dog out for at least one dog friendly activity and could easily incorporate pet care for you into our routine! I’m also happy to provide pet care at my 5 acre home. I can discuss pet-sitting in my home on a case by case scenario. I have a great environment for hosting pets, but our property is not fenced so would be best for well-behaved dogs with good recall, but open to pets who require being on a leash.
“Kendra was amazing! She is very kind and loving with pets. I received pictures of Princess throughout the day and Princess looked so happy! If you live in the Palm Springs area, or are visiting (like I was), and need someone to look after your fur babies, I would 100% recommend her. ❤️ Thank you, Kendra!”

I’m currently a graduate student at WWU and have a part-time remote job, so pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can plan my days around your pet’s needs for walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship. I do share a dog with my ex-partner, so I’m only available for overnight stays when my dog is with them. My availability will always be kept up to date to reflect this. I focus on keeping things calm, predictable, and secure by following the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. “Lenore was great, she was very attentive and sent us lots of videos of our dog playing with hers. She took our dog on lots of walks and played fetch with hers in the backyard. Her dog was also very friendly and played lots with ours, would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a pet sitter!”

“My wife and I would highly recommend Kristyn as your dog sitter! Our golden retriever Mariner loved her time there with the hikes and runs and playing with her new doggie friends. Great responsiveness and we really appreciated the pictures and videos. We've already booked her again!”

“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“Emilia was great with my two senior pups and they love her! Sent updates and pictures on their day adventures and made them feel like home away from home. 10/10 :)”

“Our dog had a great time during her 5-day stay with Erin & her family. Erin took her on daily outings - either to the dog park or on hikes. Those activities - & being able to play with Erin’s dogs kept her busy & also kept her usual anxiousness to a minimum. Erin sent photos & videos each day so we always knew what they’d been up to. I would not hesitate to recommend Erin & we’ll have our dog stay with Erin again!”

“Cade was a fantastic Rover. He was on top of his communication, has a great property that our dog was able to enjoy, and was really flexible. We ran into a problem where our travel plans were delayed and Cade was happy to let our dog stay another night. I would highly recommend Cade to watch your dog and will be rebooking next time we need a rover.”

“Virginia was amazing! She was available last minute to take care of our dog. She sent updates and pictures and Blue - our dog got extra attention from her kids. I will definitely be bringing Blue back to her house for more dog sitting.”
