We have been together almost 24/7 since I got her as a puppy as I work remotely. We had a fantastic experience! At the meet and greet Kirsten made the effort to connect and relate to Lucy and invited us to experience where she would be living and playing. As well as introducing her to dogs she would be playing with. It all was very reassuring. Lucy clearly enjoyed Kirsten and her family. She was happy to be there, and it was the perfect place! “Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

I have an automatic water fountain which is normally filled with enough to last them a week if it didn’t get topped off. Erica was concerned they were drinking more than what could get them through between her visits so she put an extra water bowl down for them in addition to refilling the fountain. That is going above and beyond and showed real compassion for my kitties and that is something I really value. She went out of her way to ensure they wouldn’t need anything while I was away. And she was so very kind to bring in my packages left on my doorstep. I didn’t ask her to but she saved them from the rain and took them in for me. About: I have had dogs in my family since I can remember, including a husky, shiba inus, a rescued staffordshire terrier, red labrador, and an icelandic sheepdog. I have experience training them as puppies, including walking, tricks, and obedience. I have experience walking 2-3 dogs at once, as well as experience with elderly dogs and health issues, including a seizure disorder and asthmatic symptoms. About: I have been taking care of others pets for about 5 years now and have had family pets of the furry, feathered, and scaly varieties my entire life.
