About: Hi! We are Belle and David and we have been watching dogs on Rover for a couple of years now. We took a little break while caring for our own puppy and are happy that he is old enough to allow us to get back to our love of caring for your pets. We only watch one dog at a time so that we can provide each pet with their own special love and care. Belle is a teacher and David works from home so there is always one of us home, especially in the summer months. Our dog Mogul loves other dogs but can still be respectful if the other dog needs a break from playing. When house sitting I am very considerate of your pets needs and your home. I also know how to administer medicine both orally and through ear medicine for cats. During the week, early mornings, late afternoons and evenings are best. Feeding, outside time, cleaning litter box, and playing/exercise time will all be standard, but it depends on the needs of the cat. I can also administer medicine as well. At owners request, surrounding trails of varying difficulty in the area offer a great day time excursion to get rid of some of that pent up energy. About: I'm 36 years old, I love animals and recently got out of the Navy. My family has four dogs back home, kimchi (pitbull lab mix), Indy (German shepherd mix) Louis and Rene (daschunds), and three cats that we rescued (Jiji, Cleo and Smokey). In high school I worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary hospital for 2 years and love working with animals. I’ve spent some time volunteering at local animal shelters at different places I was stationed with the military. I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes and would love to take care of your pets while you’re away. I’m available for house-sitting, drop in visits and dog walks. I will be working Monday-Friday 9:30 pm-6:30 am. I realize this is an odd schedule when caring for your pets, but if it works for you and them, it works for me. Due to working night shift Monday-Friday, during the week I would be able to come back to your pet in the morning and feed them breakfast/either go for a walk or hang out a bit. Afterwards I would sleep from roughly 8:30 am-12:30pm. When I wake up at 12:30 I can offer your pet a midday walk/potty break/or just some one on one time. Around 3 pm, I may take a 2-3hr nap, but otherwise I will be free from 12:30 pm until I need to leave for my shift at 9:30 pm. If you have questions/concerns with this schedule I’m more than happy to answer them. When I am off on the weekend I switch back to a normal daytime schedule will be able to spend the day with your pet. When watching your pet, I’m there for your pet. If they want to hang out and do nothing, we’ll do that. If they want to go for walks, hikes or adventures, we’ll do that. I can accommodate myself to fit your pet’s needs.

I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. Taking them on long walks or car rides. giving lots of treats for good behavior. i have had animals off all ages so I'm ready for anything, plus i can do cats as well I Currently work part time, so usually I go on a nice long walk and give my dog undivided attention. I try for a walk every day of the week if can because its exercise for me and the animals. I can even go hiking should it be needed. I have a x pen' d yard and 1 other animal in the house so generally I will come to you for service, as it would be hard on my pets. Plus its a small condo and space is limited.

The day before my booking was supposed to start, one of my girls got attacked by another dog and needed stitches on her ear and routine medication. I offered cancellation if they weren't comfortable with that, but Amanda assured me that her training as a nurse meant treating wounds was no problem at all. My girls got lots of walks, lots of love, and proper medical care. Choosing Amanda and Eric was such a blessing!”

To help keep your pup comfortable and on their normal routine, I kindly ask that you: Pre-portion your dog’s food for their stay Include their usual feeding schedule Provide enough food for the entire visit Give clear, detailed instructions for any medications, if needed This helps me provide consistent, attentive care and ensures your dog feels right at home 🐶❤️ Also at drop off time I ask that you call or send me a message letting me know when you are 20 minutes away.
